It would be difficult to not rate both the service and the technician (Raul H) highly. Raul called ahead, arrived when he said he would, looked over what we had booked to be done, explained what he'd be doing, and finished the work quickly. He was courteous and personable. We had considered having an area rug cleaned (at a cost of about $1/sf), but when we decided against it, there was no pressure. We booked one of the "deals" we saw online: 3 rooms (up to 200 sf each), plus 100 sf of tile cleaning for $129. We only had 2 rooms of carpet (both bedrooms) to be cleaned, so the price was dropped to $119. My biggest issue was that an additional $20 trip fee wasn't disclosed until I was about to sign up. So, with that and the tax, I paid about $150 total. I almost backed out on principle, as I felt that added $20 was deceptive. We prepped well for the visit as advised, clearing the floor of loose items, tying the drapes up, and vacuuming well... so the work took all of about 30 minutes given no furniture needed to be moved. We only had one small spot that needed treatment prior to cleaning, and this stain is totally gone. In the end, our carpet appeared to be cleaned well and the fibers did not feel sticky afterwards. Dry time was expected to take 4-6 hours but took longer than that, as it was rainy and cool the day of cleaning. The tile that was cleaned was marginally improved. read more

Today, the carpet cleaner was late, it was a rushed job, I did not receive a promised call 15 to 30 minutes before the arrival, and the first thing the technician did upon arrival was take an approximate 10-minute personal telephone call. Really? This company did not call 15 to 30 minutes as promised before my scheduled confirmed appointment, so I had to call to finds out where the technician was and why he technician was late. I was told that they would reach out to the technician, but neither the company nor the technician called me to say where he was and what time he would arrive, despite a confirmed booking. The technician, Jose, arrived more than half an hour late for my scheduled and confirmed appointment between 8:30 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. arriving after 10:30 a.m. Jose claimed that he was late because he was given my address in Cedar Park, but Google maps confirmed that my address does not exist in Cedar Park. Minutes within his arriving late, he took an approximate 10-minute personal telephone call as he took the liberty to walk to a bedroom to talk privately leaving me awkwardly confused. Experience tells me that the average time to clean three rooms is between 1 to 1.5 hours. I believe that I was cheated with a rush job because Jose was here, counting set up time, approximately 30 minutes/half an hour. Today, companies are all about reviews pressuring customers to leave perfect 5- or 10- star reviews. Not this one! I am leaving this factually honest unfavorable review with a deservingly 1-star review to share my unpleasant experience with the hopes that you will not be treated in the manner in which I was today and remind you that there are reputable carpet shampooing companies out there whose technicians arrive on time, do not take personal telephone calls, and do not do rush jobs, thereby cheating you so that they can make up lost time to be on time for the next job. I highly highly recommend Zerorez for your carpet & tile cleaning. I have 3 cats and used to have 2 dogs. On top of that, I have very expensive high quality carpets that were very much in need of a deep clean. Stephan was the very experienced technician who was assigned. He was absolutely FANTASTIC! He was professional and cleaned my floors & tile as if it was his own. Stephan educated me on maintenance of the type of carpet I had as well. He was super fast but very much thorough & detail oriented. Within literally 5 minutes of Stephan starting the job, I could already see & smell the difference in my home. Had air duct cleaning done yesterday. Technician was very nice and explained the process. I have a single story house so the process didn't take long. But this morning I noticed alot of dust and large specs of dust or build up on dresser in the bedroom under the vent. I have not turned on the A/C, heat or the fan on since the cleaning of duct work. Requested carpet cleaning of all carpet in the house, 3 bedrooms, foyer and 20 steps. Tech was in and out of the house in 1 hour. Tech upsold needing the power brushing and other treatments which doubled the original "deal". Daughter in law was at the house for us and said it looked ok. Made it to the house and the carpets are horrible and clearly not cleaned properly. Will be contacting for reservice or refund. Trying to release house back to landlord and now extra delays and expense UPDATE #1. They have scheduled a reservice for this review. However refused to put a manager on the phone after numerous requests on the call UPDATE #2. Still never got to talk to any version of a supervisor/manager. Did get two techs resent to the house. New team confirmed the prior service was not completed correctly and the carpets needed additional attention. The second cleaning did appear much better. But this time I had the take our $$$$ Oushak area rug away to their plant for cleaning. This rug has been cleaned twice before by Kaska's rugs and it came back perfectly done. I gambled on Zerorez's ability to do a good job after viewing their website's info on how they wash and treat area rugs. Well, Zerorez basically ruined it. It's noticeably faded and streaked and the entire rug came back with hundreds and hundreds of what I can only describe as 'pulls' and pills in the loops. I mean, ruined. read more

I should have read these reviews before I hired them. I am hoping to save someone else from spending a fortune on a job that they can not do. This review is based solely on cleaning my grout. I hired Zerorez to come to my house on November 4, 2021 for a grout cleaning. Their estimate was $117.99 to complete the job based on their calculations . When they arrived the estimate was revised to $340. I okayed the job based on the new number although this number did not match their advertising. Upon completion of the job, I reviewed the work and was unsatisfied with the result. I expressed this to the company while they were on site and told to wait 24 hours for the cleaning to dry because the result could change. The total after the employee said he was done changed again and to $378.88, which I paid. After 24 hours, the results of the cleaning did not improve with an additional soap scum which was not on the tile now on the surface of tiles in the shower. The company offered to come back and redo the job. Why would I even consider having them come back when nothing was done the first time? I took half a day off of work and the carpet in my bedroom was soaking wet when they left. Having them come back was never an option for us. They have offered a partial refund of $100 which will not work for a job which was not performed. I have requested a full refund from the company and been ignored. I had an area rug that I wanted cleaned. Someone came out and looked at the rug. I asked "do you think you can clean that?" He said yes. I guess I should have told him I actually wanted it cleaned of stains. It's still as ugly as when they took it away. I guess the "cleaning" is just dust removal. This my second cleaning with Zerorez, first one went well Second time- There is a scratch on my driver side of car and the cleaner tech confronted me about it, saying that it was there beforehand and he hadn't work on the driver's side before calling my attention to it. Thankfully I have a camera recording of him on that side. After I watched the recording I told him he lied to me about it and that I wanted to talk to the owner Brad. The scratch abruptly stops at right before the car door meets side of car because the car door was open and the tech had the cleaning equipment on the driver side. The owner Brad, laughed and didn't take my concern seriously and that I had asked the tech and his assistant to leave my house because 1) two men in my house and I was alone and a women, 2) the main cleaning tech was very confrontational 3) the main cleaning tech person lied to me and I had video recording of it and was being more confrontational I felt unsafe as a women with two men in my home 4) the owner laughed at my concerns of my safety, audio recording of that I would not recommend this service. They are very unprofessional and lied to me about the service and scratches to my car. Also I highly recommended to the owner to ask in the future all cars to be taken out of car garage if work would be done to it and not squeeze into my garage to do the work. I didn't know he was actually going to do the work in my garage, I was confident they would let me know so I could move my car to driveway, but I didn't know he was doing work in the garage. My first two reviews were quite critical of Zerorez. But, not to be dismayed, Brian, the manager, wanted to wanted me to have the 5 star / 10 out of 10 experience. They came back to my house and looked at the carpets and area rugs. They thoroughly cleaned each one. There was a marked improvement in our son's room carpet. It was much cleaner and bright looking. The same with our office. They moved furniture this time. The area rugs showed even more improvement from our last experience. They cleaned them indoors and dried them more completely. Our 100% wool rug had a faint yellow tint from our elderly dog's bladder problems. The first time they were still noticeable as well as the smell. Brian got on his hands and knees to smell and look. When he was done, it was all gone. NO STAINS or odor. One of our other area rugs had some old blood stains from an accident. He was able to remove those as well. The only reason this is not a 5 star is due to the first visit. Brian cannot run a business by redoing work that should have been done the first time. I have never used someone else to clean floors on a house i had just purchased. The home had travertine tile thur out the whole house the grout was dirty when he came in to demonstrate he did pick the dirtiest part right in front of a counter in the kitchen he cleaned it and it looked nice to clean it he did have to go over it twice, he did do the whole house backing out the front door he said i needed to let the sealer dry and not to walk on it and asked to be paid so I did. When I went back to the house the next day there was many areas that were still dirty nothing like the area that had been cleaned in the demonstration i called to talk to someone had to leave a message and still have not heard from them i think $1600.00 dollars for 4 hours work would at least get a return call.
