Since when does EFY contain the entire salad bar from Sweet Tomatoes? Hot wilted leaves?? Gross!! It's all leafy greens and bean sprouts. Hardly any meat, the patties are smaller and the gravy has a weird taste to it now. I really wish I had seen the latest reviews on here referring to new ownership. I'd rate zero stars if I was able to! Disgusting food! Quality of beef...if that even is beef, was terrible. Teriyaki beef was basically terrible pieces of meat swimming in a watery soy sauce broth with onions and green peppers - worst teriyaki ever! Beef and broccoli wasn't any better but at least it resembled beef and broccoli unlike the mystery "teriyaki" beef which could have more easily passed as a beef soup. Never again! read more

I've ordered from here about 3 times. I love the egg rolls and the rice is tasty. My last order I was very disappointed. I ordered beef and shrimp and broccoli. I paid extra to have 2 proteins. When I got my food there were a few pieces of shrimp and zero beef. I will be sure to order in person and check food before leaving. A while back I order 3 lunch specials and was missing 3 egg rolls. Absolutely the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The lemon chicken was a chicken patty (generally used for chicken sandwiches) on top of rice with a side of lemon sauce. The pork ribs were so overcooked they were crunchy. The guy at the counter was nice, but I don't recommend eating there. read more

Went to eat at this place tonight. Walked in and the girl at the counter asked if we would like to place an order or do take out. There is no menu on the wall so asked her for menus, there were four of us and she gave me one menu. Nobody came to the table to take the order so I approached the counter, once again I get the "would you like to place an order or take out". I asked the lady again, can we eat here. The food eventually came out and it was packed in to go containers. I asked to get a bag since the food was packed to go and I left. Horrible service and the lemon chicken was trash. Basically I could have went to Walmart and bought a Tyson breaded chicken patty and dumped lemon sauce on it and it would be the same. The orange chicken was good. read more

The food is terrible. Ordered the orange chicken and it was so bland and soggy, it looked good but terrible. Side lo mein is just noodles cooked with garlic. So much garlic. Probably the worst thing here is their egg drop soup that has a consistency of mucous with no flavor. I will never be back. This is pretty average Chinese food. The service was fine, the inside of the place is clean, though not much personality, and the few items we ordered were both just okay. Amazing options for vegans. This is my new favorite Asian restaurant and will definitely be back in the future. I double checked and asked if the dumplings have egg and they are clear The tofu was delicious and the veggies were great. Finally found a great Chinese Food Restaurant. 149 choices on the main menu, 33 lunch specials and 7 dinners sized for two to eight hungry people. So far our favorite is the Chow Mein but we will continue to try all of their delicious food. Generous portions with sturdy takeout containers. Only downside is eating with the in-house plastic fork. Serving to plates, with same fork, is also a challenge. read more

As far as Chinese takeout type places are concerned, I think that Zheng's is the best that I have found in the Goodyear area. I've tried a few of the other local places and found them to be mediocre or disappointing. Since moving to AZ, I had been looking for a good place and this is quite tasty. I have tried the vegetable chow mein and the sesame tofu. I really liked them both. My father in law tells me the shrimp fried rice is good and my husband is a fan of the sesame chicken. Wow. What happened to Zhengs? We started going there because they make New York style Chinese food. Everything was perfect. Then what seem to be a sale or change of management, things changed. Nothing drastic but their was a difference. The New York style egg roll was no more like a vegetable roll. Then came today. First I was happy to see they are now open 7 days a week. But then I opened our order. The wonton soup was a beef base and tasteless. The shrimp and lobster sauce was tasteless and watery. Even the fortune cookies where stale. I love Zheng's! They have become a family favorite when we want affordable Chinese food. I am picky about what I want when I order Chinese and I do not like almost vegetables. We ordered on Friday and they made my order perfect General Tsos for my hubby and Cashew Chicken for me with only broccoli, mushroom, and extra cashews. I must also say this is the only Chinese place where I like the egg rolls...everything in the egg roll just goes well together. The food is fresh, delicious, and made to order. Not to mention the portions are large and prices are affordable. I only wish they were open 7 days a week...if I want Chinese on a Monday I have to pick another place. I've only had General Tso Chicken as a main dish here and so far happy with it. Before this one opened, I had Yan's and Wok Wei's to choose from. Wok Wei was the preferred on until Zheng's. Zheng's is the closest to Chinese food similar to NY/NJ that I can find near my house in Goodyear. Today, I've decided to try their steamed dumplings and fried rice combo with General Tso. I've also had their dumpling soup. I'd like to try more as I've enjoyed everything so far. Food prep takes about 10 mins to be served and service is always pleasant. read more

Life is hard. -No worries. May Zheng bless you. Zheng means right, proper or correct. Zheng's Chinese restaurant is a proper fit among the other several eateries located in the Sarival Marketplace. I've been eager to welcome this new Asian cuisine spot and it isn't hard when we are bone dry out here in this part of the desert. Let me be direct. That's why I Yelp. I'd like to think anyone who reads these expects that. I have grown up eating out at very few Chinese restaurants and their aren't too many I've been able to call my own. My tastes are leaning towards being a bit picky to what flavors I expect. My favorite dish is Pork fried rice. I enjoy it cooked heavy on the soy sauce with chunks of egg, carrots, peas and sautéed with onions. My order here was not like that. I enjoy orange chicken crispy and drenched in just the right amount ooey gooey goodness. My order here was not like that. I have become accustomed to sesame chicken in a brown candy like sauce sprinkled with bits of sesame seeds. My order here looked and tasted exactly like the orange chicken. I don't want to judge too harshly- all the dishes I tried were hot and meh' okay. The prices aren't too bad. At approximately $8.50 for the sesame and orange chicken meals you get your choice of a spring roll, egg roll or a soda with either white rice, fried rice or for a $1 more brown rice. I chose the egg rolls with both my meals and fried rice. The rice didn't seem fried but, hey maybe better for my health if it wasn't. The egg rolls hmmm, I'm not sure what they were filled with. It had some orange stuff with veggies. It was hot and I was hungry so, it didn't matter to me. As other reviewers mentioned I called several times and couldn't get through so, we drove over there and the cashier was on the phone. Must not have call waiting. We waited about 30 minutes for our food which isn't too bad considering there was a steady stream of customers coming and going.
