    Lamb stir fry noodles
    Kais S.

I am sad so many folks recommended this abomination of a noodle shop. The place was dirty, the tables were sticky and good luck getting a cup or plate that doesn't have dried on food on it. I was scraping for quite a while to get mine off. Ordered the noodles and just when you think things can't get worse the noodles were awful. It was microwaved as parts of it on top were warm and the noddles inside were cold. I told my waiter and he tried to explain to me that it's fresh (yeah ok buddy). The lamb was dried up like peanuts and the noodles were ok at best. The dish lacked flavor and I'm surprised this place can still operate as there is a plethora of amazing noodles spots literally on the same block.

It's the old location of the Lamb Noodle Soup place in the back of the Golden Mall. They closed due to the renovation of the Golden Mall and moved to a brick and mortar location. If you pay with credit card, there is a $20 minimum and they charge tax as well as a credit card fee so try to pay by cash. The food: Lamb Noodle Soup- Oh my god, it's as good maybe even better than I remembered. They serve it with chili oil and a black vinegar but I preferred just the chili oil, the vinegar was the same one they serve with soup dumplings and found them to be too sweet. The noodles are hand made and the lamb pieces were so incredibly tender. Oh man, the Winter is right around the corner and these noodles will be perfect and the noodles were only $10. So good! https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=Y_iTTjKvV5hLy-880SZzlA&select=PP0f9eJH5Jj2VSubUa3Hig

This places noodles are hella bomb. Really flavorful and a big portion. You can really taste the lamb in the broth.

Very affordable good eats. In a narrow and desolate street in Flushing. You find this nice little Chinese noodle spot. I ordered their beef mutton wide flat noodle soup and dumplings. The dumpling is very well made and have good chewiness. It is also a good decent size than many nearby places. Love the beef mutton noodle soup, very large size a good amounts of tendons and meats. Definitely hearty place to go when you want good portions and well cooked noodles.

Yummy handmade noodles for $10. Need i say more? I did takeout. Portion was generous. They share a space with a restaurant of a different name so i was a but confused at first... don't worry you are in the right place! Be aware, they don't take credit cards. I didnt have any cash on me but luckily i could pay the delivery guy via venmo and that worked.

Not sure if anyone remembered this used to be Red Chopstick many moons ago. A friend recommended this noodle spot to me. Today, I came here for an early lunch with my mom. We were seated at a corner booth. Food: Mom: Lamb Noodle Soup ($9) - My mom was dissatisfied with the noodles' texture. The soup was bland. Me: Spicy Lamb Cumin Noodles ($13) - I was also dissatisfied with the noodles' texture. I will stick with my favorite noodle spot a few doors from here.

I very much miss the lamb noodle soup shop in Golden Mall but my sister told me this place is good. $11 for a giant bowl of hand made noodles (perfectly cooked) and soothing soup- I agree it is pretty delicious. Don't forget to add vinegar and chili oil. The rou jia mou (pork version, though they have lamb too) was packed with juicy meat though slightly herbally. The pan fried buns looked really good but it takes 30 minutes to make so we will try it next time.

This listing and the restaurant was a bit confusing. This location is a separate restaurant, not a stall in the New World Mall food court. It might have been located in the food court but could have moved. I don't know. The restaurant is has many Mandarin speaking patrons and the workers also speak Mandarin but knows a bit of English. At first, I was confused since the menu they gave me didn't have the dishes I was looking for. I thought I might have entered the wrong restaurant, but if you ask them for the lamb noodle soup they deliver. The lamb noodle soup was delicious and huge! The broth was very flavorful and hearty. The noodles were great too, smooth and slightly chewy (there is also some vermicelli noodles in it too). Definitely recommend!

The mutton soup is excellent, and the hand pulled noodles are just perfect! See how smooth and thin, yet chewy they are? This is the best noodle place for me in NYC and nearby that I've been to. And this gigantic bowl only costs 10 dollars. Make sure you tell the boss you want mutton soup noodles because it's not on the printed menu it's 滋补羊肉烩面. If you like intestines, you can also go for mutton soup w/ intestines noodles 羊杂烩面. The chef and boss speak Henan dialect. I wish I lived closer I would come all the time

Located in New World Mall, Stall 28. Came because this is Mikey [Strictly Dumplings] Chen's go to spot. Just landed in NY and first stop: Downtown Flushing NY to EAT! We got the small chicken [Xiao Pan Nui] plate with noodles $10 to share so we can be able to try a variety of other things. & let me tell you, this thing was AMAZING! I wish they gave us more noodles and you can probably ask for more for an additional cost. The noodles were delicious and the chicken was so tender. I've noticed with Mandarin cooking, they always use Szechuan style with peppercorn and red peppers. Which is great but be careful of the spice because that's what amps it up to be spicy. It was a bit hard to order since the lady didn't understand English that well but we manged to order what we came for.

Liang pi / cold noodles ($5)
    Heidi M.

These 5 stars are solely and purely for the $5 plate of liang pi (cold noodles), recommended by no one other than Mikey Chen. On Sunday, we went on a food crawl around Downtown Flushing and this spot was on the list just for their cold noods. And surprisingly, this dish came out on top as the best thing we ate all day! I didn't expect the texture of the noodles to be so. incredibly. chewy. In the best way possible. They were so fresh and bouncy. Not doughy or starchy as they usually are, but chewy. The spice level should be tolerable for most people - not overwhelmingly spicy and just super tasty. Slightly sour and spicy, perfectly balanced. Dare I say it but I don't think Xi'an Famous Foods can live up to this. It's also recommended to get a Chinese Burger from Old Luo Yang (another stall inside New World Mall) to pair these noodles with, which we did, but I was too obsessed (and otherwise full) with the noodles to fully enjoy the burger/pairing. I'd also like to try their soup noodles, big tray chicken, etc. but I'd be happy if I kept coming back to this stall only for the liang pi for the rest of my life.

    Liang Pi (cold noodles)
    Rainey C.

In case you can't read Chinese, this is Stall #28!! PLEASE do yourself a favor and get the Liang Pi (noodles) and Rou Jia Mo (pork sandwich). SOOO GOOD. The noodles are perfectly thin, and the chili oil is so fragrant you might not be able to smell afterwards. The pork sandwich is perfectly crisp, and if you dip the juicy pork into the noodle oil, it's an amazingly saucy combo. Such a filling meal for about $11. Highly recommend.

The Dumplings in Chili Oil (can adjust spice level and cilantro) has added texture with crushed peanuts. We got the regular spicy, but could have gotten extra spicy. They were a decent appetizer but I'd go for something else. The Abalone and Chicken Rice Noodles had decent chicken flavor. There were a couple pieces of dark meat, which I enjoyed. Not sure if there was abalone in here, but if there was, it was nondescript. The rice noodles were well cooked. The Plum Juice had a lovely smokey flavor, along with a lemony flavor form the couple of lemon slices inside. It was not too sweet, though I personally could go for less sugar. We walked into a casual space that fit the style of food, with the main focus being on freshly made noodles, flavorful broths, and hearty dishes. The dining room had a practical, no-fuss energy with a steady flow of customers coming in for a warm bowl, and the open kitchen gave us a view of the noodle pulling process that added a layer of engagement to the meal. The Lanzhou beef noodle soup is the main highlight and the dish that defines the restaurant. We ordered a bowl and found the broth with a rich, savory flavor and a good balance of spices, while the hand-pulled noodles had a satisfying texture that made each bite enjoyable. The thin slices of beef added another layer to the dish, and the chili oil gave the soup extra depth without overpowering the original flavors of the broth. Beyond the noodles, the lamb skewers were another standout item, the meat tender and well seasoned with a smoky grilled flavor that paired nicely with the noodle dishes. The menu also included other options like braised beef noodles and lamb dishes, giving us a few different ways to experience the flavors of Lanzhou cuisine. Service was polite and the overall experience felt relaxed. The restaurant has a straightforward setup, making it a good option for a casual meal, and the ability to customize the meal depending on whether we wanted something lighter or more filling made it easy to adjust the order to our preferences. The staff moved through orders with efficiency, and the food came out hot and well assembled. Overall, DunHuang Lanzhou Beef Noodle is a solid spot for anyone craving authentic Chinese beef noodle soup. The combination of flavorful broth, freshly made noodles, and well-prepared meat dishes makes it worth visiting. It's bursting with flavor, slightly tangy, perfectly spicy, and deeply savory in a way that warms you from the inside out. Every spoonful feels like a cozy blanket on a cold day. The summer rolls are another must-order. They're fresh, light, and packed with flavor, and the peanut sauce that comes with them is absolutely delicious. It's rich, savory, and addictive enough that you'll find yourself scraping the cup to get every last drop. Another detail I really appreciated is how everything you need is right at your fingertips. All the sauces are readily available at the table, so you can customize your bowl exactly how you like it without having to ask or wait. It makes the whole experience feel easy, comfortable, and welcoming. And don't skip the Thai iced tea. It's perfectly sweet, creamy, and refreshing, especially alongside the bold flavors of the pho. It's the kind of drink that makes you slow down and enjoy the moment. Overall, this place delivers on flavor, authenticity, and heart. It's rare to find a spot where you can truly taste the effort and pride in every dish, but Pho Metro does exactly that. I will absolutely be returning again and again. If you're in the area, make the stop. You won't be disappointed.

This restaurant is in a very obscure part of flushing, which is probably why they didn't have many…read morecustomers in the afternoon. Nonetheless, they were very fast to serve me my order. I had ordered to go and the wait staff told me it would take 10 minutes. The food came out in eight minutes, which I was so happy with because I was famished. I had ordered the beef on a bed of vermicelli noodles. They also provided an extra fish sauce on the side. This added so much flavor to the overall dish. The sliced radishes on the side were as expected. Everything about this dish was fantastic. The ambience in the area was very calm. There were adequate seating and overall this establishment is very clean.
