It's been a week since I was in Montclair and ate a delicious slice of pizza. It was a slice with Chicken Marsala. Chicken Marsala? Isn't that unusual? I often make this dish but did it occur to me to pile it in a crust? No! Here at Enzo's this was so well made and tasted divine. Raj got one slice of this she another with Chicken Savoy. Ordered delivery a few months and overall had a good experience! We ordered a pizza and mozzarella sticks. Both were good and delivery was quick - the only thing was the mushroom half was spicy? They added pepper flakes? Never seen that before and certainly didn't request it. Otherwise not a bad spot! Would order again as they are close by! Rude employee. Did not offered marinera for garlic knots. Everywhere I go they automatically put it or offer. When I asked I was told I had to pay but they couldn't charge my card. I advised the employee they should just offer it since it doesn't come with it and he responded with an attitude no we dont do that here and no we don't have too. I told him it was just a suggestion and his response was rude and his response was no you're rude. No matter how good food is, service is more important. Solid pizza spot in Montclair. I ordered a bunch of pies for a work event and the pizza was a hit. We called for delivery on a rainy day and the pizza arrived on time and still hot. The standard cheese has a nice texture with no flop. However I think this place does a fantastic veggie pie - absolutely loaded with all types of veggies without getting soggy. Listen, Enzo does not play around. I wish I knew the owner here. From the beginning, the customer service is frickin' great. This is the case whether I am ordering for delivery or in person. Everyone is happy and I would like to assume that they treat their employees well. We order from here a lot, but this is the first time I took pictures. Normally we just act as if Normally, we've never eaten anything before and forget to take pictures. It is standard that we order cream of mushroom soup. IT IS DIVINE. My family absolutely loves it. This was honestly some great pizza! We ordered carryout and were able to pick it up about 25 minutes after ordering. We got Garlic Bread, Pepperoni and Penne Vodka Pizza. The storefront was easily accessible and had a shared parking lot in front of the strip center. The Garlic Bread was a little disappointed as it was really just some oiled bread with garlic on it (I was hoping for a bit of cheese and some more flavor). THE PIZZAS on the other hand were amazing!!! The pepperoni was great and very flavorful and the Penne Vodka was something that I have never had before!!! Came here for lunch and unfortunately couldn't sit inside because it was mobbed by kids from the local high school also looking for lunch and also sort of signifying that this place has potential. They weren't wrong, The pizza hit the spot. There is a nice selection of specialty topping slices a few of which even eludes my other favorite pizza spot. one of which would be the Chicken, bacon ranch slice. Very good, but a bit skimpy on the bacon. Despite the crowd, the staff handled it well and served up the pizza pretty rapidly. In just a few minutes we were boxed up with extra napkins and munching on hot pizza. The pizza here has a thin crust style and the cheese, sauce, crust ratio is all balanced. This is a nice little pizza spot tucked into strip with other eating spots. If you choose pizza, it won't the wrong choice here. read more

A very solid pizzeria in our area with other Italian entree options. While I don't find its pizza to be unique or gourmet in any way, the plain whole pie is good and substantial. I was disappointed though in what they call their chicken parmigiana specialty pizza. That was just a plain pie with some cubes of lightly coated chicken (a bit dry) thrown on top. They do have other specialty pizzas on their menu and most are already made for those wanting a slice. There is an informal seating area adorned with large cans growing herbs and looking over the strip mall lot. That is fine and suitable. Service with a smile is a high point. What can I say Enzo's is always my go to place for great pizza. I love the specialty pies. The best part is the crust. I can't say enough about the pizza crust. Unfortunately no eating in during COVID, but we picked up the pizza to bring home. The staff is super friendly and alway greets you with a smile. As with my mom and decide the stop over the Enzoe's to enjoy some good hot New Jersey pizza. Ordered a very tasty pepperoni sausage and onion pizza. Nice hot fresh. I've waited a while to write this review because I wanted to make sure Enzo is 5 star quality. My love for pizza sometimes blinds me but not only do they have really good pizza*, they also have good spaghetti and meatballs. If you were to judge an Italian restaurant on something, what would it be? For me, it's those two items above. And both are homeruns in my ball park. Ticket prices to my ball park are pending for those interested... My friends have ordered their pasta fagioli, penne vodka, gnocchi, grilled chicken salad, and they were ALL good. Be sure to check their daily specials neatly written on a chalkboard right when you walk in. Whoever controls their music has good taste. Today they were playing Empire of the Sun. What Italian restaurant do you know plays that? That's what I thought! They're also extremely friendly and courteous. The prices are easy on your pocket. Parking can be a problem when it's lunch time but I've always found a spot. Another positive note I have to add is that they take credit card for any amount...even for assholes that never carry cash and charge $2.50 to their card. Sometimes I'm that asshole, and I appreciate that they take my card without hesitation. *Their buffalo chicken pizza is popular. I think everyone usually has their pizza place which is just the closest one to them (which it was) but I have since moved and still continued to come pick up a pie at Enzo's. For a good price and a short wait, I would come in, order a pepperoni pizza to go, walk around the area a bit, and be back in about 15 minutes with a hot, gooey, cheesy pizza. I've eaten in a few times and their by the slice pizza is excellent as well (I usually get one with chicken on it, have to compromise for the whole pie though). The atmosphere is nice, with cans of plants by the window and usually a silent movie waiting. If you are coming in to eat on a Friday night, there may not be enough seating for you, but otherwise it's been fine. It's been a while since I have been on account of dieting, but soon I plan to have a cheat meal and come back, but I wanted to write on past experiences in case I don't make it back, I was always satisfied when I went. Oh, except for the parking. I won't dock them points, but it's a very small lot and there are like 5 stores in that plaza, so be prepared to just give up and park on the street. read more

Service, food, atmosphere, prices, convenience.... Enzo's is it. I actually agree 100% with Jennifer - she pretty much sums up everything you need to know. Enzo's is one of the best places to eat in Montclair - seriously. The people that work there are cool as hell, they remember you by name, ask you how you've been, etc. I familiarized myself with most of the staff, they are good people, running an honest business, serving a way above average product. Tortellini Michelangelo is so good - super satisfying on a rainy/cold day. Their soups are always freshly made and delicious, I love the stracciatellla and escarole soup, neither of which are too far off from my grandmother's (corny, but true.) Pizza is the first thing you see when you walk in, and really, you can't go wrong. Fresh ingredients, thin-crust slice of heaven, I love when the crust is just slightly charred....yeah, that's this. So yummy. Atmosphere can't be beat. They stream old movies sometimes on the wall, play good music, staff (again) warm and friendly, and the restaurant itself is SPOTLESS. And cool artwork. And modern. Yay. Go here. They deliver if you're lazy, can take up to 45 minutes on a busy weekend... but who cares. read more

It was alright. Had a lot of promise but I ordered something unusual, and it was a failure. We got an antipasto salad, an eggplant+mozz pizza, and a pepperoni calzone. The pepperoni calzone was a bit spicy but I liked it anyway. The antipasto was a little light on lettuce. I really liked the inclusion of fresh mozzarella but the ham tasted cheap in comparison. I would still order this again, though. The eggplant pizza is where it fell apart. I didn't realize they meant fried eggplant. Fried eggplant is very thin slices of eggplant covered in breadcrumbs and sauteed. When you then chop that up to put it on a pizza, it becomes a crumby messy that tastes of oil. I am guessing this because I couldn't really find any eggplant. The pizza inexplicably tasted like butter - and nothing else. I ordered a 9' and ate less than half. A real shame. Got three sandwiches. The meatball parm with extra sauce was my daughter's favorite. The Italian was a lot less "stuffed" than I thought it would be, but it was perfect, with the very sharp provolone and the fresh meat. We also ordered a chicken and veggie combo, with the roasted red peppers, mozzarella, eggplant and zucchini. The eggplant was a tiny bit more crunchy than I would have liked (hence the four stars instead of 5), but the balsamic dressing they gave us was so, so, good! My office ordered from here a few days ago! Everyone got a variety of different things from salads, wraps, sandwiches, and pastas, but I settled for the specialty pizza! There were a lot of options and I picked the white with spinach (which was ricotta, garlic, and spinach). I did enjoy my pizza, but I think it would've been better with some tomato sauce. I'm not trying to disparage this place. The pizza is edible, but it is NOT NY style pizza. The crust is thicker than a NY slice but thinner than a Sicilian or a deep dish. Honestly, it reminded me more of the pizza I'd get from the cafeteria in high school. I have no idea why the reviews keep saying it's a NY slice. I guess those reviews were written by people from the midwest or sadly people who may have never taken the 35 min train ride to the city. In a pinch this place will work if you're running late and don't have dinner planned for the kids, but if you're looking for an authentic NY slice, look elsewhere. Sadly as close as Montclair is to the city with the plethora of pizza places here, the pizza in this area is pretty bad (if you're looking for a NY slice). Definitely a solid place to get pizza. Recently moved to town so we are still exploring all the pizza places around us. I ordered two mushroom pizzas and they were good. The pizza crust wasn't too thick, the cheese didn't all slide off the pizza like some other places. They use real mushrooms and they were fresh.
