I had an awesome experience with Zone Home Solutions. After dealing with a useless home warranty company and their awful service provider for nearly 6 WEEKS (!) to get my A/C repaired, I had enough. I found Zone Home Solutions on Yelp as a top rated company and gave them a call. My units were 17 years old and in terrible condition. One of the units had a coil out and the other probably wasn't far behind. I could have replaced the coil, but after researching and consultation from Zone Home Solutions, I decided it was time to replace the entire system, including the furnaces. It's the best decision for the long term, though not an easy price to swallow. However, the home is an investment and a new system increases the value of the home and I won't have to worry about heating and air for a long time. Jason came out the day after I called for a quote to evaluate my system and offer recommendations. He wasn't pushy. He noticed my wife was pregnant and was cognizant of our upcoming expenses and tailored the package around that. We were very appreciative of that and thought it was a genuine gesture. He gave us the budget option (replace the one unit), better option (replace both units), best option (replace both A/C unites, both furnaces and upgrade thermostats to ecobee 4's). I chose the best option as it took care of all my needs and I was able to get great financing (5 years same as cash). Financing terms may vary from person to person based on credit, but that's a deal that I thought was more than fair and gives me plenty of flexibility. Plus the units run at half the wattage of my old units did, so I am sure I am to gain on the monthly power bill. They were able to get everything installed the very next day. Amazing service. As the operations manager of a service business, I understand how companies can succeed and how they fail at service. This company has succeeded for me! Brandon is a true professional, an expert in a field that (like mine) most people find disgusting and want little to do with. Unfortunately some German roaches snuck into our home and started to multiply. Brandon correctly assessed the two points where they were nesting and breeding and eliminated them in 2 visits. Of course we have hired them for our general pest control as well. Our old pest control company had us convinced that they only needed to treat outside, but Zone said they prefer to treat in and out every quarter and can come back in between. Also I found it very interesting that their technicians each have an area and manage their own schedules and while I certainly don't presume anyone's income they seem well satisfied with their careers and highly self motivated, something that is rare in the service industry these days. I also had a very positive experience with the office, I wish I'd gotten the name of the lady who answered the phone but she was clearly no simple receptionist; she listened attentively to my problem, explained the specific issues with German roaches and how their regular service worked, gave me the base cost and the likely figure costs, told me who would be calling and how that would work then did whatever it took on her end to execute that process, which occurred exactly as she had laid it out. That may sound like business as usual but unfortunately it's not. I have set this company up as a vendor for our company and they will now be our go to for pest control needs when we find termites, roach infestations and rodents in our client's homes and businesses. I've actually never wrote one of these but I HAD to..LISTEN UP...The service was good BUT these people are MANIACS! My work schedule is a bit crazy. I work out of town during the week and am home almost every weekend... Well... one of the pest control guys.. Jeremy decided to show up at my house UNANNOUNCED! I normally travel back home from being out of town on Friday evenings.. One particular weekend I had decided to go on a trip instead of home. Friday morning I receive a phone call from my property gate.. ? I thought.. hm. just someone trying to get into the gate. .. maybe its a mistake... later that day I receive a call from Jeremy stating that he was there but no one was home.. OF COURSE no one is home...! I did not schedule an appt for service... He proceeded to argue with me stating that I did not hold up my end of the deal with quarterly service.. Okay for one thing.. My schedule is crazy.. I do not have time to call or even remember when service is due. I was actually planning to call them to schedule an appt because I knew it was probably time. This really pissed me off that he was so rude and would not hear me out and explain my reasoning for not contacting them in time for my service.. I will not stand for customer service like that! reading all the reviews.. You'd think these people are heaven sent but my gosh.. please beware if you are an extremely busy person with a stressful career and unable to focus on contacting Zone Pest Solutions since they are supposed to be on your mind 24/7. UGH.. The nerve.. Never using them AGAIN! It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to critique the performance of the technicians/installers from ZONE Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC of Buford, GA. I found Barrett and Bryon exceptional individuals, courteous, friendly, and with great interpersonal skills. In terms of Home Mechanical understanding, both were well versed and trained in the installation of our completely new Carrier Air Conditioning and Heating unit. They went about their work in a professional manner, wasting no time in achieving the various tasks involved in the installation. They kept their work area neat and clean and when finished, they did a thorough job of clean up. Before leaving our job site, we received instruction and they confirmed that we understood the operation of the system and the newly installed thermostats. I wanted to update my original review after speaking with the owner. I initially called because I believed there was an issue with my HVAC dampers. The technician assured me the dampers were functioning properly and instead recommended repairs. After another HVAC company later diagnosed the dampers as the actual issue, I was frustrated that my original concern had been missed. After posting my review, the owner personally reached out to discuss my experience. He apologized for the misdiagnosis and explained that the replacement parts they use are commercial-grade and higher quality than the lower-cost versions I had found online, which helped me better understand the pricing. While I still wish the original issue had been correctly identified, I appreciated that he took the time to listen to my concerns, explain the charges, and offer a partial refund to make things right. Although my experience with the initial service visit was disappointing, I believe it's important to recognize when a business stands behind its work and makes a genuine effort to resolve a customer's concerns. Our family was introduced to Zone Home Solutions when we needed a termite letter and was told by multiple other companies we would have to pay for a treatment in order to get a clear letter. Zone was the only company who would provide a clear letter without charging for unnecessary treatment. We were very satisfied and have been using the company for pest control since 2016 on both our homes. Both our pest control technicians, James (Lawrenceville home) and Keith (Decatur home), are easy to contact, professional, knowledgeable and trustworthy. They are always prompt, provide a treatment report each time, and quickly respond if we ever have any issues between treatment. In fact, when we contacted Zone about bugs between treatments at our Decatur home, Keith responded early the very next morning and fit us in before his first regular appointment. Good Customer Service and Resolution After Initial Issues I initially had a difficult experience with Zone Home Solutions. I hired them to replace an evaporator coil, but after the service, my HVAC system developed additional issues. The technician removed a sensor, which led to the failure of both the furnace motor and circuit board, resulting in significant extra repair costs. However, after sharing my concerns, the company responded promptly to resolve the problem. They fixed the furnace motor, installed damper bypass & sensors, showing that they are committed to making things right for their customers. While the situation was frustrating at first, I appreciate their willingness to step up and address the issue. If you encounter any problems, I recommend voicing your concerns. Overall, they showed good customer service in the end, and I'm glad they resolved the issue for me and system is working good so far. read more

Pleased returning customer. Zone has done pest control and termite control for my houses for years, and at one point did a construction project to get and keep squirrels out of my attic. Friday they installed a new HVAC unit, inside and outside, for the main floor in my house. Everything went perfect! New thermostat is super cool! I can control it from my phone. Jason came out initially, and the service guys were great. Jason has also followed up with me twice to setup the app on my phone and help me setup my warranty. I have chosen to use their service agreement fir the future. They are going to check all if my units twice a year. I was very impressed with the whole process. They were able to answer all my questions, charged a fair price for a nice Carrier unit and did what the said. I will continue having faith in Zone for their services. read more

We started with the company years ago when we had them install termite stations in our yard and have expanded to use their services for pest control as well. Zone Home prices are very fair and transparent. The office staff and technicians at the Buford location have always been kind, competent, and helpful. Jeff, our termite technician, is wonderful--We have had a lot of work done in our yard over the past year, and he has patiently worked with us to make sure the termite stations were handled well (even after being relocated multiple times and buried by the landscapers). Wow! We like these guys! And have for more than a decade. Always been impressed, but they worked miracles for us this year. We came home after an extended absence to find a surprise our property management company had ignored... little gray insects scurrying hither and yon. We IMMEDIATELY called Zone Home Solutions. In no time, our new property manager let us know the bugs "were marching in a Mardi Gras funeral procession across the kitchen floor". And after 2 months of diligence by our Zone Home Specialist, there was nary a sign of the little monsters! Wheewww... Cheering in relief! I have used multiple pest control and mosquito services over the years - including all the big names - and have been repeatedly disappointed with virtually every aspect of the service and cost. After feeling ripped off and deceived by the last company, I learned of and switched to Zone Home Solutions about a year ago. I could not be happier with the service. They arrive on time every quarter as scheduled, I get great text communications reminding me of the appointment and when they are on the way, and the services all work. Last year was our first year without mosquitos being a major problem. The technician Malachi is helpful, professional and very pleasant. I bought my first house back in July and there were some obvious pest issues. We had cockroaches, spiders, and tons of mosquitos. I looked online and found Zone Home Solutions. Since I began using them in July of 2017, we have had no pest issues. The roaches are gone, no more spiders, and during the summer and fall the mosquitos disappeared. We've had Keith Ware as our technician and he is always right on time. In addition, he makes sure to give me a call the day before so I'm not surprised the next morning. Flying termites everywhere! Well, not everywhere, but having them flying around my kitchen is enough. I called several companies and decided to have Zone come out for a quote. The sales guys Michael seemed knowledgeable and very professional. His price was in line with what other companies had estimated to me over the phone. The warranty looked like it was longer and more comprehensive than the others. I had them do the work last week. It went off without a hitch. Bottom line: The office staff was courteous and responsive, the salesman was great and tech doing the treatment really knew his stuff too. I had Zone Home solutions come out to my residence to check out a central HVAC system that was struggling to keep up with the Atlanta summer heat. My legacy HVAC provider had quoted me an astronomical amount to fix the system, and I wanted a 2nd opinion. Zones sent out Steve Prigge who came out to check my system. He found that the system was low on refrigerant. After properly charging the system, the system started working. The charge to repair the system was a fraction of what my legacy HVAC company had quoted. A friend referred me to zone. My furnace quit working and called them. David the tech called me within 30 minute's and told me he would be there in a hour. David the tech arrived at my home and looked at our furnace and told us it was the circuit board. By the way this was the weekend and he did not charge me a overtime charge either and he let me know that he had a circuit board on the truck and told me it would be $395.00. I was ok with the price since he got me heating again. He also let me,know that they do termite/ pest control as well and home remodeling. I will be calling them for my pest control as well. I have used Zone Home Solutions for the last couple of years for pest control but was unaware of all the services they prove. Unfortunately during the cold weather this month my heat was having issued. I spoke to Zone Home Solutions and they made me aware that they service, maintain, and install HVAC. David from Zone 's HVAC dept. came out the very same day and fixed the problem. I was also able to get my system on a maintenance program and now it will be serviced 2 a year. Which is a huge relief for me. I definitely recommend this company for everything from pest control to HVAC to roofing. A true one stop shop that can do it all. read more
