By far the best Greek food in the area. Their Jumbo Gyro is an extremely satisfying meal and you wouldnt think so but their french fries are out of this world. I would highly recommend going here for a nice quiet lunch. read more

My husband and I are VERY picky when it comes to Greek food. We have tried so many restaurants in the surrounding area and no one seems to take the cut. Ordered a gyro. Wife ordered a chicken sandwich that came in a gyro - not what she was expecting. Each costs about $8.50. Mine was okay, but only about three strips of gyro meat and the rest was lettuce. No fries either. Over priced, but on the positive side, must be amazing profit margin for the restaurant. I ordered hummus and pita for almost $9. For the price i was expecting a container of hummus and a few pieces of bread. But no one piece. I could of went to Trader Joe's right next door and gotten a big bag of chips and hummus for half of the price! read more

Nothing special...Spanikopita was meh. Not flaky at all! Gyro was salty. Only recommendation I would give is the soup.

I was really looking forward to a GREAT Greek lunch yesterday - I mean I was all psyched up! I heard good things about this place and figured I was not going to be let down - sadly I was wrong. I was let down. I had a simple Shrimp Kabob platter, which consisted of 4 shrimp, rice, sliced up pita, and a side Greek Salad. First of all the Greek Salad was soggy and did not consist of fresh lettuce. It looked a little wilted and brown. Second of all the shrimp was over cooked and burnt. Third of all and the most disturbing - they forgot to give me my tzatziki sauce! That is the best part! You can't have Greek food without the tzatziki. Since, we ordered take out - I really couldn't really just get up and get some - so I had to eat my platter and pita all dry. Very bland and boring. Totally not worth the $15 lunch I paid for. read more

I come here all the time to dine in and it's great... I just ordered the same thing I always get for carry out... HUGE DIFFERENCE. The portion is incredibly different...so so so much smaller (and still the same price) Safe to say I will never carry out again. So dissatisfied :( read more

Zorbas is a terrific addition to Wayne. Its simple Greek cuisine with affordable prices. i have gone several times for dinner & most recently with 20 people...children included. The place is clean, has a beautiful authentic Greek decor & the food is FRESH! Whats important is the food is fresh & a good quality. I have read some of the reviews & some have had different experiences . What I can say is that no matter where you go, expensive or inexpensive, mistakes are made with orders. The mistakes can be the waiters or from the kitchen. Mistakes do happen. As for your reviews. K.M.. , you decided on March 27th to TRASH 3 local Wayne businesses .......obviously, you have an issue. I have tried this place once when I was in high school and it was only the three of us. The place has a very tight spot and little tables to sit at. Not only was the staff slow on our orders, they just stood in the back and chatted the whole 30 minutes us, and other customers were there. read more

One of our "go to" restaurants in the area, Zorbas is casual and serves great food! We love all of the appetizers - especially the hummus, grape leaves, and the fries with the feta cheese. The gyro meat is tender and well seasoned and the different kabobs and greek burger we've tried were all delicious! The platters come with a nice portion of greek salad too. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy a great meal with friendly service at a reasonable price! read more

Unspectacular, but tolerable. My first gripe with Zorba's is its excessive prices (if it weren't for that, this would be closer to 4 stars). For example, a falafel platter is about $20; the portion is A LOT smaller and A LOT more expensive than what you can get in other Greek restaurants. But, I will say that the food is good, not great. I've always enjoyed the pita bread and hummus appetizer. The gyro sandwich is filling and has a lot of flavor to it with their tzatzki sauce. The owners are nice people, so I don't want this review to drive people away, but again, the prices do it for me. read more

Going downhill fast :( so disappointed and can't figure out if its staff changes or if the place was sold? Last takeout order pita was forgotten in my order with a grilled chicken salad (not the first time), picked up an order tonight and the dressing was all oil, salad was shredded into long thin strips, barely any feta. I'm not even home yet and I'm already writing this one. My brother and I each had the souvlaki sandwich. Fresh, juicy grilled pork piled on with crisp onion, lettuce and tomato on a warm pita. We both inhaled our sandwiches!!!! We also split an order of hummus which was also very flavorful. The restaurant was pretty busy but we didn't have to wait for a table. Food was fresh and came out quickly. Servers were friendly and attentive. Looks like you can BYOB. How is the Outback Steakhouse (in the same strip mall) still in business?? Excellent service and food in a casual, almost luncheonette type atmosphere. Great chopped salad and Greek grilled shrimp wrap but the star for me was the grilled octopus. A nice large tentacle perfectly charred with Greek lemon sauce. This dish is as good as any high end Greek sea food place. I have been back for lunch five or six times since my first review. Again today with a co-worker. Food and service has been consistently good. Reasonably priced and good sized portions. Decor is not fancy but looks nice enough. I have not noticed any background music. The place gets full at lunch, so go early or late to avoid a wait. Once a month I go to my hair stylist in Wayne which is about 1/2 hour away, but I must do a big shop at Corrado's. We always have lunch between hair and Corrado's and used to go to Opa for a nice, fresh Greek meal. Having less time the last few times, we decided to try this by Corrado's thinking it would be casual and quick. The last 3 times, we were disappointed but kept trying. Today, we are finished. One waiter for the whole place during lunch. We saw a new chef busy at the grill, grilling some chicken kebabs and meats that looked better then they actually were. We ordered right away 2 sandwiches, they were advertising with a big sign when you walked in 'Shwarna', so my hub ordered it, they said its beef/lamb. I got the chicken shish in pita. We sat and waited and waited, always a long wait for food. It finally came out and the pita sandwiches were wrapped in foil and smothered in shredded iceberg lettuce. Saw some chicken in there but had to unwrap to actually eat. The chicken was tough and bland with crappy tomatoes and a bit of onion. Tough and dry. The schwarma was even worse, all gristle, took a bite and had to spit it out. The french fries were the best part. We complained and they only charged us for one sandwich. Cmon, it's a family business, pay some attention to quality here. The place is a great location and nice to sit in but the food and service are bad. Never going back. read more

Stopped here for lunch. Got the Gyro platter. It was really tasty. The meat was super flavorful and the Greek salad that came with it was pretty amazing. The tomatoes were fresh and juicy, the feta was perfectly salty and the Dolma that came with it with the perfect salty/sour balance. I am looking forward to returning. read more

Was here with the fam on a Saturday for lunch. We got there as soon as it opened, but boy did it fill up fast! Decor is cute. Service is decent. Food-I had the gyro sandwich, which was great! We also had the lamb burger--tasty. The chicken kebab was average, but I feel like chicken kebab is usually not very flavorful. This one tasted like it was rubbed with lemon juice, which gave it some flavor. Not too impressed with the Greek salad on the side..mostly iceberg lettuce and not much else. Portion size is good. I wish I had the tried the greek fries and some of the desserts! Will definitely be back--a nice place for a casual lunch with good food! read more

Great Greek food, simple as that. Their gyros always taste fresh and authentic and was really impressed when the head chef sliced off old meat from the stand just to unveil fresh warm meat, which he put in our gyros. The prices are expensive but you do get a good, and delicious amount of food.. The only complaint I have is one time I ordered the Greek fries with lemon juice and seasonings and the fries were so soggy they were inedible.. I guess they put too much lemon juice on or let them sit there in their own juices.. Simple solution for me, don't order the Greek fries next time! read more

Great spot. Went in at 5pm on a Friday, and it was completely empty. However, I must've just missed the rush because by 5:30, almost half the tables were taken up. It's very clean, as it is a fairly new restaurant. It's small, but they offer take-out if you don't want to sit. I started with the Dolmades for an appetizer, and the classic Lamb Gyro platter w/ a side of Greek salad and fries. The Dolmades were wonderful in my opinion, wrapped firmly and not mushy at all. I was given 5-6 for $5.00, which isn't bad. The dish came promptly, and i figure that's because they have them already made. However, the rest of my food was made to order..and it was DELICIOUS. The ingredients were fresh and the lamb was tender and hot. The fries were just right and lightly salted, also steaming hot! The lettuce in my Gyro and my salad were crisp and the vegetables fresh! It was lightly dressed with oil & vinegar and sprinkled generously with feta. All washed down with an ice-cold Pepsi. Overall, it cost me $20 with tip. Not too shabby. Amazing food and great service. I go there very often, food is to die for at a great price. I called for a takeout and requested them to tighten it up because I'd be taking the food on an airplane, they went above and beyond for me and cut out a little hole so I can eat my fries and food without taking it out of the bag and they secured everything so I didn't have a hard time on the plane.
