Really delicious pizza and they have a really wonderful lunch special! This place has the best pizza crust I've ever had. It didn't have additional seasonings on it or anything, but my goodness it was delicious! My one year old normally doesn't like pizza but he almost ate a whole slice! They have many different kinds of pizza options, and I definitely want to come back to try some more. I got the basic pepperoni this time and it was great! The two young men at the counter were very friendly and were working the entire time. Even just standing and building pizza boxes. I was impressed with how they were constantly finding something to keep themselves busy. The dine in area is small but really cute and comfortable. Very clean also! Everything seemed to be really well taken care of. We were the only ones inside so it gave my son plenty of room to run around. I only came to the Ladera Ranch location was because they closed the San Clemente location because I heard of a rent dispute. But I absolutely LOVED the pizza Chef from San Clemente. He was so so talented and however he made the crust!! It was Magnificent. My fav pizza there was the ZJalapeño. It was the best!! So I ordered it in Ladera Ranch today. NOT EVEN CLOSE!! The crust in Ladera was subpar. It takes talent to do this and they should get the cook from San Clemente to go to Ladera because Ladera sucked. read more

Less than satisfied with my order today. First off: after I ordered the pizza, they told me it would be ready in 15 to 20 minutes. I showed up over 25 minutes later and it wasn't ready yet. I thought I heard the cook tell the order taker it would be ready in another ten minutes. He told me it would be ready in another 5 minutes. 5 minutes later he told me it's ready and when I looked at it, it just didn't look cooked. When I got home, we all said the same thing; it wasn't cooked. I honestly think they forgot about the pizza and only started it once I got there. The customer service makes this place deserve one star. They give the option to place an order ahead and then when you show up you have to wait another 20-25 minutes for you pizza, despite placing the order over 4 hours ago. I guess they just prioritize walk ins and other orders before online. Staff was overall unfriendly and mostly standing up front talking and on their cell phones, while two cooks made everything. I mean the pizza here is phenomenal, this goes without saying. I've had several unfortunate experiences with this location and after last year I decided to stop giving second, third, fourth chances. (Especially after a delivery driver threw a pizza at my husband and no one ever called me back when I called to complain). I finally spoke to the owner last month and she assured me the people that worked there when this happened no longer worked there and remedied the situation so I could give them another chance. We ordered our pizza at 8pm Friday, and they no longer offered delivery (by the way, we're from out of town and visiting). That was fine, we'll pick it up. So we ordered a Combo pizza. The guy on the phone didn't know what we meant. We reiterated a "combo", or "supreme", or "ultimate" whatever you call it. Nope, he still didn't understand. So we described "a pizza that has a couple meats on it, and a couple veggies" He said "we have a zcarnivore that's all meat". We said "any veggies?" He said "we can put some on there" We said "fine" He said "what one's?" Finally, we spelled it all out, and ordered a carnivore with onions and mushrooms. When we picked it up and they showed it to us .... no mushrooms. They forgot. So they added the last mushrooms they had from the pan, and rebaked it for a couple minutes. Oh, best part is... the American (on the menu) is a combination of meat and veggies. Lastly, on the pizza itself, we weren't that impressed. The "large" is more like an extra-medium size. But I suppose they can get away with that because the crust is more airy and light, like a pizza bread instead of a crust. No crunch. So the bread is very filling, and plays a large roll in the flavor and texture of the slice. read more

There are SO MANY options here for your pizza that you can't go wrong. If I had one small suggestion to make it would be to add the wheat crust at this location. I hate having to give our business to the one in MV when we want that crust. The staff and owners are always great. About 5 years ago they had a not so great manager who thankfully is no longer there. Now that that person is longer there, the service and quality of food has been noticeably better. Okay cool right? my work site was about 20min from that location. well I got there and my order was ready and they left it heating for me till I arrived. I was the only customer there so I expected to be in and out pretty fast. My cashier took a little longer then expected and forgot to give me my soda. Nonetheless I was there for about 10min longer. He was distracted from his mobile device. I really don't mind what people do behind that counter but when you have a customer, all attention please. You never know when a mystery shopper comes around. This place has a "$" but honestly I think it falls under "$$"..
