Absolutely love everything about Zuccarelli's Pompano Wont mention specific names of people because everybody there is doing the right thing. In a day and age where more and more customer service is becoming a thing of the past they strive on it. And the food is top notch every time. Unfortunately although I live right around the corner don't get a chance to get there often enough. But when I do it's always an absolute pleasure. Was there this evening and was in a little bit of a funny situation so spoke to one of the gentlemen who runs the place to see if he could help a dad look good in front of his 11 year old son and he came through 100%. No doubt the food is amazing and that's important at a restaurant but even better than that it's a piece of the past.It's not all about money at Zuccarelli's. It's about important things. Family, community pretty much just old school American pride and brotherhood. It is something I'm already teaching my son about. And unfortunately more and more is tough to find a place that I can point out to him as a place I'm proud to bring him to and have as part of our community. This is our second time at this restaurant. The first time my wife was not too impressed but she's not a big fan of Italian food. The second time we had great service with a new waitress. You could tell she was new but she tried really hard to make sure you were getting everything you needed. I made sure to give her a good tip. I ordered a large meat lovers Pizza and my wife had the fish. of course I had to take most of the pizza home because it was huge! Of course that's the plan. How disappointing!!! 1st night of our vacation staying at a hotel on the beach: After agreeing to wait over an hour for the delivery to the hotel (1 hour and 41 minutes to be exact) the pizza came. I used the box to sign the cc payment (and tip) and the box was not even hot!! What the??? I opened the box and touched the crust...not even WARM!!! We stopped here for lunch - the Garlic Rolls were soft but oily. The Eggplant Parmigiana during lunch time comes with salad and spaghetti- I am not a fan of deep fried eggplant; but had to try it. We have been ordering food from Zuccarelli for about three years now and we love it. In fact, everything we ever ordered from the menu is absolutely delicious! Portions always come slightly bigger than a regular size, always with extra sides and garlic bread rolls. No matter what you order, the wait time is only about 20 minutes and they have delivery too. Superb! Family gathering of 7 . The occasion: . My Mother in law, who is 95, had a visit from two of her nieces & their husbands who live out of town. The food was delicious. Our waiter Oscar was very accommodating to our many special requests. Charming and professional. We arrived at 5PM, talked and ate and talked. We did not leave until 8PM. We had a wonder family visit, good food and a very good time. Sorry I forgot to take photos of our wonderful food. And the welcoming Italian tile decor. Wow! These people know service. We get delivery about once a month because it's always great. I went in Christmas weekend to order eight XL (different) specialty pizzas for that night's block party. Computers were down with people getting crazy. The staff totally held it together being as nice as always. I left, called a couple hours later to order. The pizza was on time, hot and superb. Everyone loved it. Next, last week we ordered delivery. The guy who took our order told me they now charge a delivery fee. I never knew they didn't but loved the honesty when most places just tack it on these days. Good things happen to good people this place will be here for years to come.
