10 Traditonal Wingz, fries and white bread (sorry couldn't wait)

As a person that loves both Harold's and Uncle Remus I have to say that Zza Factory's wings are a combination of both great Chicago institutions. I ordered 20 wings thinking that I would get 10 flats and 10 drums for $40 and I was fine with that but I was shocked to learn that it came in two big trays with 20 FULL WINGS FRIED HARD (10 wings per tray), fries, mild sauce (covering wings and fries) & a couple piece of white bread. Reminded me of an Uncle Remus G-pan and tasted like it too. They definitely got some people who know what they're doing when it comes to Chicago style chicken The pickup process was a breeze too. Showed up and my order was ready when they said it would be. You know great customer service when you see it and Zza has some of the best I've experienced. It feels like they are happy to see you in their restaurant and appreciate your patronage. As a customer I don't require that but it's great to actually experience it. (Sorry to bury the lede but I've also tried their Chicago Chopped Cheese, which taste like an Italian Beef mixed with a Philly cheesesteak, it is my favorite sandwich I've eaten hands down)

Love Zza, I've posted a review before, but wanted to add these current menu pics. Great staff, unique versions of standard food, excellent catering! Add them to your list. Current ghost kitchen is Fried Hard doing wings, bone in and boneless and tenders. fried Hard is on menu 2.

I have called and sent messages with no response. We used to love this place with great pizza but recently ordered and our food was too well done. I am attaching a picture of our kids hamburger meal which wasn't even edible. I didn't get a picture of our pizza with all overdone toppings. We frequent often but won't be going back.

I've passed by this restaurant in Elgin for more than a year and never stepped inside. They sell a variety of foods, mostly things I don't eat. I went strictly for the pizza and was not disappointed. I ordered a personal cheese pizza that came in 4 squares (detroit style). The crust had that buttery flavor and fried like texture. It was cheesy and a little greasy with a pleasantly tasting sauce. I took mine to go and later popped it in the air fryer with the addition of green onions and mushrooms. The serving size was perfect. This is like my new guilty pleasure, tastes good but so not healthy.

The Food was delicious! Great fast service! Drove 45 minutes to get here! We will definitely be back!!!

First time here and the menu is overwhelming because everything just sounds delicious and I wanted to try everything. But I was in the mood for gyros so I figured that's usually safe to go with. I admit the gyros was a bit disappointing. The strips of gyros was fried to a crisp and I don't particularly like that. The portions were generous. However I prefer sliced onions but they serve it with chopped onions and that really just didn't do it for me. The sauce was meh. I'm picky when it comes to gyros. I know what I like. And this experience isn't enough for me to not come back. I will just not order this again. I ordered a side of their fresh cut fries which was delicious. They were really good and fresh. Also got a side of the cheese sauce which I wasn't a big fan of. I sat in the restaurant to dine and it was very clean. I noticed what others ordered who sat near me and the food does look delicious. Especially their Detroit style pizzas and Italian Beefs. I definitely want to come back and try that and hopefully it will change my opinion and review from 4 to 5 stars.

The person who answered my review is very rude and complaining that I went on yelp. I did call the store first... before writing my review. I shouldn't have to drive home and three days later get a response (( to bring it back )) very disappointing. Check your food before you leave... maybe take a bite

Their pizzas are top notch I have tried many of specialty pizzas and they all are great. They all have their own taste and you can tell everything is super fresh. I don't know how they do it but they cook them super fast. I can go in and order and be outta of there within 10 minutes. Who'll else can do that? This is the only place I go for pizza. read more

Great staff, food and atmosphere. Always clean! Had the personal Meatball ZZA and my husband had the Cowboy Mike personal ZZA tonight. Both were delicious!! I recommend them. My all time favorites here are the Italian beef and chopped salad. If you haven't tried it yet, plan on stopping in. read more

Pretty decent higher end fast food. Good hand cut fries, but a single order is probably enough for 3 people (a single order for one person is a massive waste of food). The burger was really good, probably better than Portillo's if you aren't a big fan of char-broiled. The Italian beef was not on the level of Portillo's, however. Too salty, and the hot peppers was an odd mix that was not meant for an Italian beef (gotta have a real giardinara). Pricing was about the same as Portillo's (definitely not cheaper as I saw on other reviews). Would return to try the gyro, meatball, or pizza. read more

If I could give them no star I would. I ordered a Philly Cheese Steak, they gave me an Italian beef w/ so much mayo! Highly disappointed! Would never eat from this overly priced place again. I'm extremely confused by the high ratings, they probably came from family and friends. read more

Yes, she is very choosy when it comes to "what's in it" before eating something. What impressed me was the fact that a young lady emerged from the kitchen area and mentioned that the soup choice my wife made did in fact had an item in it that she asked not to have as a topping (green onion). Here I was left alone to make my spouses decision. Without going into all the details.... It was reported that the soup was great! After ordering you are handed a number that you place at the table of your choice, then it is brought out to you. Leave the dishes as it's cleaned up for you. They have 2 size drinks.... 32oz, and child size probably about 10oz. I suggest you take the time and check out the on-line menu before jumping in. I actually agree with her, and I understand where she was coming from. That said, I also think it's a good practice for servers--especially during a busy lunch service--to ask customers whether the check will be together or separate before preparing it. It's also a nice opportunity to check if anyone needs anything else or would like dessert or coffee before presenting the bill. Overall, the food was excellent, and with a little more attention to those small service details, the experience would have been even better.

We ordered from Zza on Grub Hub. We got the pound of golden bbq wings. It was enough to feed two people. The fries were on the soggy side (which I love and my wife hates so more for me) but I liked the natural cut and flavor. The wings were actually really good. My only real complaint is that the "brownoli" didn't have nearly as much filling as advertised. The delivery was very quick and the driver followed the instructions to call and not knock bc we had a sleeping baby inside. Overall, I would order from here again the next time we were in town or try eating in. read more

Wow! Dinner was amazing. The gyro sandwich was so big, the teenage boy couldn't even finish it. So delicious. The Italian beef sandwich was equally as massive and even more tasty than the gyro. Then the shakes...the Nutella shakes...so indulgent. The staff was great. Fantastic counter service, fresh food made quick enough, clean restaurant. Tried ZZA Factory's "Chitown 5" pizza this weekend. It was great, Excellent cheese and sausage, piled high with fresh veggies sitting on a nice crust that held it all together. They don't skimp on their ingredients and doesn't take much to fill you up! Keep up the good work. read more
