Food came out super quickly and all of it was quite good. The noodles had fantastic chew/texture and the buns were all well seasoned, fluffy, and juicy. My only complaint was that I was expecting their classic pan fries buns but we got the mini versions which were still good but not quite what I was expecting. I ordered a dry noodle dish and a basket of xiaolongbao, and both were delicious! The xiaolongbao has fairly thin skin, compared to Din Tai Fung it's almost as thin but not quite as sturdy, one was already broken when it was served. There is a good amount of broth inside though! All three were delicious -- great flavor, not too oily, and really satisfying. I found this restaurant on Yelp and ordered through Door Dash. My order came very quickly, like 20-25 mins tops. I had really high expectations, and unfortunately, this restaurant did not deliver. I ordered the cucumber salad, the kung pow chicken with flat noodles, and the yummy yummy pork bao. This was mid at best. The food looked amazing, but the flavors were underwhelming and, quite frankly, not homemade. -Cucumber salad: this was no more than sliced sweet and spicy pickles... have you ever tried the "Oh Snap" pickle pouches? That is exactly what the cucumber salad tasted like. I am not knocking these because the flavor is great, but they are 5x the price of a pickle pouch. -Kung Pow Chicken: chicken was the breaded freezer kind, no veggies- it reminded me of Panda Express orange chicken with peanuts. I had hoped the flat noodles would be like chow fun, but the noodles' flavor was not appealing. -Pork Bao: beautiful bao, but lacked filling. Definitely a hidden gem! Incredible pork soup dumplings, and now j don't have to go all the way to union city or Fremont for din dings dumpling house.
