All the foods were delicious. Fast delivery too. Very casual ambiance and we were able to catch up with our old friends for hours eating yummy food. QR code menu and order through your cell phone, I'm not a fan of it but I guess it is convenient. Payment is through a handheld device they bring over. I'd recommend ordering little by little, as I ordered the whole thing at once and some food got cold as all the dish pretty much came around the same time.

What a hidden gem! This place is straight forward! No fuss just good quality food made fresh at an affordable price! Great music, great vibes and great staff

Great option for Chinese food in the area. They're quick, efficient and serve great food! I typically come here with my work colleagues. Many options for everyone for individual dishes or to share. During my first visit, I was pleasantly surprised with my dining experience! At first, I came to simply place an order for pick up for lunch, but the host encouraged us to dine in since the kitchen is quick. They weren't kidding! Service was good and the food came out quickly. You can't go wrong with the dry style noodles or dumplings here. I was rather impressed by the Beef Chow Fun. I wasn't sure to expect, as sometimes Cantonese dishes aren't as good at certain Chinese restaurants. But the oil and the char on the noodles were great! It's now my go to dish.

I got the healthy mushroom noodles with chicken for lunch. It was a large portion for the price. It wasn't bad but it was kind of oily and salty so I drank about half the water at our table by myself. The fermented rice buns were good, but I don't think those are made in-house. We also got a free soup that was delicious. Service was polite and parking was easy.

This is a great place to share a variety of soups, noodles, and dumplings. The dumplings that we ordered tasted fresh and flavorful. One of my favorite items of their beef onion pancake roll - flaky crust and crisp veggies with flavorful and tender meat. Service is prompt and welcoming. Ordering is through an app. The restaurant is spacious with an interesting interior. I dig it.

A quick lunch place across from Samsung and any 1st street corps. We were gonna see the original 四姐place but apparently these are all the same owners, just some variations of menus. This place is mostly one bowl type of deal, the taste is authentic and they give you a lot of food. Good portion for quick bite.

Came here as a group of 7. It's always nice trying new places with a large group of people. Overall my favorite dishes were the pig ears (they had this garlic chili oil you can dip in and it was generously portioned as well. I also enjoyed the flavors of the Mini Pan Fried Soup dumplings. If you're interested in hearing more about the experience and not just what food we got and what id get again, keep reading if not you can stop here When we entered it was not busy at all. The atmosphere was nice with open seating. As we finished our meal and left I noticed that all the tables were filled so it seemed fairly busy for dinner. I later found out that this restaurant has multiple sister restaurants around the South Bay and East bay and go by the name of Special Noodle. The service at the restaurant was well provided. Anything you needed they were happy to assist and if you wanted to pack any meals they mentioned I could help myself to any takeout containers. We got: - Steamed dumplings - Boiled dumplings - XLB soup dumpling - Eggplant and string beans - Beef Chow Fun - Combination Fried Rice - Mini Pan Fried Soup dumplings - Pig ears

This is the "express" fast food version of the Special Noodle 四姐 chain of chinese restaurants. We've tried several kf the main line spots and were always happy with the food so we wanted to check this spot out. Located conveniently grab a quick bite to eat if you're craving dumplings or noodles. Plenty of parking in the plaza as well. We came here at around 12pm on a Saturday and were immediately seated. The inside was cozy with plenty of seating. Ordering is thru QR code/website. We got the beef noodle soup, vegetarian chow mein, vegetarian buns and the pork buns. Food came out super quickly and all of it was quite good. The noodles had fantastic chew/texture and the buns were all well seasoned, fluffy, and juicy. My only complaint was that I was expecting their classic pan fries buns but we got the mini versions which were still good but not quite what I was expecting. I'd drop in the future if we are nearby and craving noodles/buns. Give them a try!

Really friendly staff that constantly checked in on us and refilled our water. Affordable and such huge portions. Tasty food! So lucky this is 4 mins away from work. Great lunch spot. Clean interior and just a straight to the point restaurant.

Noodle express is located in a business area, in Nicholson Plaza off First Street. We arrived around 11:15am on a Saturday and we were the first diners there. The restaurant was small, definitely felt more like a fast lunch establishment but the decor/wall mural was nice. We ordered off a giant iPad that was provided by the waiter.. we appreciated being able to see the dish we wanted to order but it froze..2x. Lol I saw that they offered hotpot and some combo sets too. They gave us complimentary soup while we waited for our dishes. He had 2 options but we picked hot and sour soup. I didn't really hear what the second option was.. lol We ordered.. PORK SOUP PAN FRIED BUNS (6) $13.99 -hot and juicy. Like that's it's not greasy and the bottoms are perfectly crispy. The meat is soft but bland.. 3/5* MINI PAN FRIED BUNS (6) $8.99 -basically a steamed soup dumpling with the bottomed seared. It was juicy and had a nice light crispy bottom but the meat was wateva. 3/5* STEAMED SOUP DUMPLINGS (6) $12.99 + $1 for spicy pork -look very good when it came out. The dumpling skin was good, it was super was soft and it was super juicy but again, very bland. 2.5/5* ONION PANCAKE $8.99 -aka green onion pancake. This came out first. It was hot, not greasy and had a slight crisp. It was a bit fluffy too! I just wished it was more crispy in the middle. 3/5* Our server was very friendly, informative and attentive the whole time we were there. Would we go back?.. probably not.. but I can see why it would be popular during a work lunch. You need options!

Was in the area and saw this newly-opened restaurant so decided to give it a try! I've been to other local restaurants with this name, so I'm not sure if they're all by the same owner. I was impressed by the decor! The place has a fast-food vibe but it actually has some Chinese-looking decorations. The staff is very friendly and fast with taking order and answering questions. Ordering is done via a QR code as is the norm nowadays, took me sometime to go through the menu but they were very patient. They did keep getting my order/table confused with my neighbor though, but they're going through soft opening so I'm sure they'll get better quickly. I ordered a dry noodle dish and a basket of xiaolongbao, and both were delicious! The xiaolongbao has fairly thin skin, compared to Din Tai Fung it's almost as thin but not quite as sturdy, one was already broken when it was served. There is a good amount of broth inside though! I did quite enjoy it. The dry noodle dish is good too, I packed most of it back to eat for dinner. Overall enjoyed my meal! Will come back when I have noodles or bao cravings again!

So based on a TikTok video, we had to try the food here. Well I must say we were not disappointed, everything was delicious! Our server was very nice and provided great service. Hope you can come by and enjoy the delicious food. And expect to sit in a very quiet spot with a serene setting

Bad food. The only dish you could order is spicy beef. 小炒牛肉 Otherwise everything is disaster. If the food is good here, why no one is in line? So my bad to walking this restaurant. No next time

Ordered the 8 Wonton Soup. Although tasty, the broth had a gamey taste. Maybe it was from the other ingredients in the soup.

Although it's an online menu, we ordered via the server and food was freshly made. The tables are not big and we had to shuffle dishes around. Food quality wise was not that impressive though. We tried: - coke chicken wing: does not taste like coke chicken wing, lacking the fried element on the outside, more like a sweet soy sauce chicken wing - pan fried buns: ok, has juice inside, but some part of the bun was too hard. - regular XLB: tasted ok as there's soup inside. The wrapping can be thinner. - rainbow XLB: the most disappointed dish. They were almost all broken when we tried to pick them up. The pink one I got was curry beef and it just tasted weird. The green one which we presumed is spinach wrapping is actually a veggie XLB. - Garlic noodle with spam and veg: This is the best dish of all. There are slices of soft mushroom, good garlic flavor, we had spam and cabbage added. $13.60 for plain noodle and toppings such as protein and veg are each $2-$3 on top. -Garlic Kale: also good, chopped garlic brought up good flavors and the kale are fresh. -Ube buns: freshly made and not overly sweet, good size and quality, but 4 for $13.5 is not that affordable. Total damage before tips is $104. I think I still prefer Shanghai #1 for pan fried buns and other Shanghainese dishes.

It had a great mala flavor with a subtle numbing sensation, and the peanuts added a nice crunch and texture to the dish. The Tianjin Eggplant was simple but delicious, with flavorful pork that paired really well with the soft eggplant. Overall, the food here is comforting and satisfying. We walked in right at opening to a completely empty dining room. Instead of leaving, we browsed the menu and ordered XLB, pot stickers, jelly fish, and pea sprouts (my personal fav) so glad we didn't leave! The XLB are a nice size, with each precious dumpling cradled in its own foil wrapper for maximum soup retention. The potstickers were full of flavor, packed with protein, delicately wrapped, and had the crispiest, golden bottoms! Jelly fish was fresh and the pea sprouts were a hit! The poor owner answering the phones made sure (in all languages) to inform folks calling in that there were a different May Flower than the other place-felt terrible for her but also understood the importance of differentiating right up front.
