Our container finally arrived, ten days late. The only reliable part of the experience was extremely long hold times when we tried to get updates in the situation. I can't believe this company is still in business. Stay away.

They're great selling you the pods! BEAWARE they have two departments the selling department and the service department when you call. You get the selling Department right away and they will sell you whatever it is you need so it's five star service at that point. Once they have your reservation and cc you need to go to the service department for everything else. I have never gotten through on that phone line the first time around. They have a call back option since their service department is so overrun with customers. And I have tried that one several times and only got a call back once. So if you hang on and wait on the phone your AVERAGE wait time is almost 2 hours if not more. That is beyond unacceptable for any service department in any service category. I gave them two stars one because the selling part is actually good. And the second star because the people at the Garden Grove Warehouse are actually extremely nice when they come out and put the containers down and pick them up. Seriously, I will never use these people again. I even called and ask to speak to a manager when my phone call went over 2 hours. You know what they did ...... I KID YOU NOT....they transferred me to the service manager where I got the same call waiting message that I am on hold with and that I can leave my phone number for a call back..... you can't even get a hold of a manager when you have an issue! I think they need to look up what customer service is and maybe try and give some of that

These are the confirmation delivery texts I kept receiving.

They never complained and kept pushing through. Jose was great at communicating too. And they ask questions instead of assuming, which I appreciate a lot. I just wish the scheduling person was as communicative as Jose. The scheduling experience was not great - the person on the phone kept mishearing me. I clearly told them my house has 2 bedrooms and a bonus room, but in reality they only planned for moving 1 bedroom, resulting in understaffing, which made me ended up paying more because of the long hours and overtime. The scheduling person didn't even get my name right...the scheduling experience was pretty bad. But the actual moving experience was good. I guess next time I will just have to be extra cautious with the scheduling office.

They were friendly and respectful, so patient with our kids as they wandered a little too close to the action, and handled everything with care. They expertly disassembled and reassembled our beds and dining table, and somehow wrestled our ridiculously heavy marble dining table without complaint. Honestly, I barely broke a sweat all day because they were so efficient! They took what would have been a very stressful move and made it feel organized and manageable. I'd absolutely hire them again and highly recommend them to anyone planning a move!

Thank you so much Ross and crew!! I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. THIS SUCKS. Time to step up Roadway! ....and step up they did! Great customer service!

The problem? I made this decision a week before my lease was up! I was scrambling to figure out my plans--what to do with my dog, where I'd go next, and what to do with all my stuff. My original movers fell through, but thankfully, I found 4US Moving Company at the last minute. From the moment I called, their team was incredibly understanding and helpful. They booked me for exactly when I needed, even with short notice. Alan and Akzhol showed up right on time with a great attitude and got straight to work. They brought their own tools, helped disassemble furniture, and even used shrink wrap to protect my bed frame and couches. I appreciated how calm, patient, and respectful they were throughout the process. Their communication was excellent, and I felt like I could trust them with my belongings. By the time the last item was loaded, I was beyond impressed. They worked so hard and made a stressful situation feel manageable. I'll definitely be using 4US Moving Company again in the future and highly recommend them to anyone who needs efficient and reliable movers.

We set up a video call to review the pieces of furniture that needed to be moved and number of boxes. They sent over an estimate which was reasonable. When the day of the move came, I was shocked at how careful and quickly the guys wrapped and loaded the truck. They treated everything with more care than some of my junky stuff deserved. It was a hot day (90+) but the guys didn't let that slow them down. They packed up a two bedroom apartment in a little under 3 hours. When I met them at the new place they put everything in the right place and reassembled tables and desks. Moving is always stressful so I'm incredibly happy I called NorthStar!

I filled out the online form and got a call shortly after. They told me I had to schedule a virtual meeting before getting any estimate, but the earliest meeting was two days away and my move was happening only a few days later. Because timing was tight, I simply asked if they could give me a rough hourly rate or general range. I already knew how many movers I likely needed, what size truck I was looking for, and had spoken with many similar moving companies and knowing what they usually offer. Instead, the salesperson basically told me it could be "$2,000 or $10,000" without asking any questions to narrow anything down. When I said I needed to check my calendar because the proposed meeting time was difficult, she became impatient and rushed me for an answer. I explained that I had other appointments and might need to pass because of the timing -- and before I could even finish my sentence, she hung up on me. That was extremely rude and honestly shocking. Regardless of pricing or availability, basic customer service means letting someone finish speaking before hanging up. Based on this experience, I would be very hesitant to trust them with an actual commercial move. !!Be cautious!!

Do Not Reccomend, be warned…read more I hired this company because of its strong reviews and was willing to pay more for a professional, efficient move. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite. I paid about $1,650 before tip, roughly $1,800 total, and ended up with damaged furniture, a damaged wall, a broken TV stand, and an excessively long move. Two of the three movers appeared to speak almost no English, and the third spoke limited English and had to translate for the others. The issue was that the crew could not reliably understand or follow instructions. Several times I made specific requests and was told "OK, OK," only for the crew to continue doing exactly what I had asked them not to do. At one point I had to repeat myself about five times and finally stop them and insist they change the loading order. It should not require an argument to get movers to follow a clear instruction. I own expensive Stickley furniture and other high-end pieces and explicitly told the crew that several items needed exceptional care. I repeatedly asked for more padding and blankets because certain pieces were not adequately protected. On at least two occasions I specifically asked for another blanket, and the mover simply repositioned the existing blankets and kept wrapping. When the furniture was unwrapped, I found scuffs on leather, scratches and chips in wood, marks on my TVs, a broken leg on my nearly new TV stand, and damage to several other pieces. The problem seemed less like laziness and more like lack of experience, organization, and leadership. The time reinforces that concern. My previous move involved significantly more belongings, more preparation by the movers, and a destination about 30 minutes farther away. It also used three movers and was completed in about 5.5 hours, including double drive time. Based on that, I expected this smaller move to take about four hours, five at the absolute most. Instead, it took about eight. Everything except furniture was already packed, I had removed many fragile and awkward items myself, and I had reserved a loading area and dedicated elevator. Even so, individual trips between the apartment and truck were taking roughly 20 minutes despite the distance being only about 32 steps each way. I expected roughly $800-$1,000 plus tip. Instead, I paid about $1,650 plus tip. In my estimation, I paid at least $650-$800 more because of the crew's inefficiency and lack of experience. The most unacceptable incident involved damage to my old apartment. Near the end of the load-out, I found a substantial fresh gouge/chip next to an electrical outlet. I immediately brought it to the movers' attention, and they denied causing it. I had plugged my vacuum into that exact outlet and vacuumed the area no more than ten minutes earlier. The damage was not there then, and it was there after the movers worked there. Damage can happen during a move. What bothered me was being told something that repeatedly that, was plainly not credible. I contacted the company immediately and sent photos. I had to follow up repeatedly before being told the claims department would contact me. The following business day came and went without contact, leaving me to address the damage with my landlord. There was also an issue with the drive between locations. Before leaving, the lead mover and I compared Google Maps and both showed about 29 minutes. The truck then took a different route and arrived about 11 minutes later. Because the company charges double drive time, that effectively became about 22 billable minutes @ 200 per hour. The workers were personable and they did work. My criticism is that the company sent a crew that appeared inadequately trained, inadequately supervised, inefficient, unable to communicate effectively, and unable or unwilling to follow clear instructions regarding expensive property. I chose this company because its reviews made me believe paying a premium would buy professionalism, efficiency, and care. That is not what I received. I would not use this company again and cannot recommend them
