Overall, we were impressed! My husband and I live in the area and have been wanting to try this place since it opened. We came in the early evening on a Saturday and were seated right away. We had our 2 year old son with us, and the hostess did not offer a high chair or a booster so we had to grab our own (not a huge deal, but kind of annoying). Our server, Melissa, saw me looking for one and was so kind and said she would grab it for us (I'm about 6 mo pregnant for reference) and apologized the hostess did not do it. When we got around to ordering, we got my son the kids chicken tenders with broccoli, my husband got the Pimento Cheese burger with fries and I got the Norm burger with onion rings (extra$2 charge). First, my son loved the broccoli but barely touched the chicken tenders. I tried them myself, and they were very rubbery and difficult to chew - possibly overlooked? They were even difficult to cut through, so that was disappointing. My husband really enjoyed his burger and loved that the fries were very crispy. As for my burger, although simple, I LOVED it. Maybe it's just my pregnant self speaking, but it was one of the beat I've had in a while. I always get mine cooked well done, which can cause for a very dry burger, but this was anything but. It was incredibly juicy, the bun very soft and my husband and I both loved how the buns weren't super greasy and everything tasted very clean and fresh. The onion rings were good, crispy, but the batter didn't have much flavor. I probably wouldn't order them again as I don't know if they were worth the extra charge - the fries were better in my opinion. Overall, I took away a star for the hostess and my son's chicken, but everything else was great from our server to mine & my husband's meals. Potential!! This review was tough as it was up and down. Fried cheese- I was not a fan. Super soggy breading. I like my fried cheese to have some crisp and this was just sogginess. I was there 10-15 minutes before the order was ready and tried them within 90 seconds of getting my food, so it wasn't like I picked them up late and then drove with them. The ranch and marinara that come with it are both really good, and since I wasn't a fan of the fried cheese I used them for onions rings and fries. The Sweet and heat burger- I'm not a mayo fan. So when I ordered I chose sub mustard for mayo. Then I also put no mayo in comments. Well it still came with mayo and no mustard. So they missed both places on this item where it wasn't supposed to have mayo. With that being said the burger was really good. The sourdough bun was good. It was cooked a little more than the medium I ordered, but still good. Mushroom Swiss Burger- this was not my burger. I was told it's was severely overcooked and she had to drink after eat bite to get it down because it was so dry. I tried the bun and burger and wow was it dry. She ate maybe half. I wouldn't have been able to eat half of it had it been my burger. Both were ordered medium, but this was well done. Onion rings- really good. Crispy and tasty. Fries- good and cooked well. Again this meal was all over the pace. I did really like my burger a lot and I liked the onions rings a lot. Fried cheese was a big no (I love friend cheese too) and the other burger was just bad because it was so dry. read more

Went for a much needed escape from the house. This place did not disappoint. I and my two friends ordered their meatloaf, chicken Parmesan, and fried catfish. Each exhibited distinct flavor uniquely tailored to bring out the best of the dish. I've never been a meatloaf guy but wow, the infusion of onions and peppers made this divine. I was quite satisfied my catfish, having an excellent cornmeal breading. The mashed potatoes with brown gravy complemented nicely, as did my side salad. Great service. Will be back! read more

I used to live in McKinney. Now my wife and I live in Plano and found 11|17 online and drove up to try it out. We sure wish we had this in Plano! Fantastic experience, and great service at the bar. They had two great summer frozen drinks and we started with the fried green tomatoes which were excellent. Best ranch with them that we have ever had. My wife had the pimiento cheese burger with the Impossible Patty and loved it. I had the chicken sandwich with green Chili and jack cheese. Great lunch spot and we will be back! I'd seen 11/17 on Yelp repeatedly and we finally decided to give them a shot. We started with the chips queso and salsa. They were OK. Kinda bland queso and the chips were about 8 minutes away from stale. My 2 year old enjoyed it though so if he's happy it's a win. My wife ordered the fried shrimp. Idk if they sat in a window or something for a bit but the fried batter was really soggy. Cooked but not at all crispy. She did rave about the sweet potato fries. I had the pimento cheese burger. It was cooked perfectly medium as requested. That made me happy because most places just won't cook a burger medium any more. It didn't really pop and the pimento cheese was really bland. I had the loaded cheese fries as my side and they were delish. No complaints there. Overall the food reminded me of the way that Replicator food was described on Star Trek: The Next Generation. It wasn't bad but it was like a copy of really delicious food. On a positive note, the restaurant was very nice looking. The minimalist look was appreciated and I really enjoyed the black and white art on the back wall. I also thought it was cool that on the southern facing wall they had artwork from a local high school featured. Very cool. The service was good and they really catered to my little one so that was a super positive. We will probably give them a shot again in the future and see if the food situation was just a one off. This is a great local place in Stonebridge I came across because I live and work in the area. I've been there for lunch as well as dinner, and it never disappoints. A great selection of fresh, locally sourced food and they have a bar area as well as table and booth seating. Appetizers. salads, and burgers are excellent. The restaurant is an open concept so acoustically it's a bit noisy but not a problem as long as you know that going in. I've been there at least three times in the past six weeks and the server named Jo has blown my mind. She not only remembers where our group sat, but what I ordered over a month and a half ago. I doubt I'm that memorable. I think she's just that good! I highly recommend 11|17! read more

Very bad experience tonight 5-5-20 my birthday. Party of 5 and sat on the patio, daughter had a house Salad that came with a big dead bug. Showed the waiter And said he was sorry Ordered a well done burger and was raw, we asked about A manager never came to our table to address the issue, Was told there wasn't a manager just a head waiter. If there is no manager on duty where are the owners ? We all left felt feeling with a bunch kids running the place Neglected and not taken care of. Definitely won't be back ever. This place is doing comfort food way better than most - when the wife said she wanted Cracker Barrel I yelped for comfort food and got 1117. Love this place. It's clean and the staff were very friendly on a Monday night. My wife is in a wheelchair and it's easy to navigate inside - not overcrowded. I had meatloaf which I make an excellent one at home, so the bar is high. 1117's was excellent, firm enough and not dry, and great flavor. Glaze is tangy and a bit of vinegary bite. Wife had the chicken fried chicken and it was tender and moist, crispy on the outside even with gravy! Mashed potatoes were well seasoned and gravy pretty good. We went for dinner tonight and as usual, the food was delicious. This is the only restaurant where I will order meatloaf. It tastes so good. We had banana pudding for dessert, which was delicious. It was Wine Wednesday, which meant special pricing on my glass of wine. Good thing to remember. Our server, Rishi was very nice and helpful. He was very attentive and checked on us several times throughout dinner. This place is consistently great, from the food to the service to the cleanliness both inside and out. To clarify - Mac and cheese was listed an as option with the green chili burger on your online order menu as a side option for an additional $2. It certainly never occurred to me that a side item with an additional charge would be the kids menu kraft Mac and Cheese. If we had dined in person I most certainly have sent it back.
