We ordered quickly, thankfully ordered a couple appetizers cause the entree took quite a long time. I suspect they were short staffed. The food was OK but not worth the premium price. I've come to this restaurant a few times and have always had decent food and service. However, this past Thursday night, my friend and I had a reservation at this restaurant which ended up being a terrible experience. Upon arrival, the hosts had trouble locating our reservation. We were seated in a fairly reasonable amount of time, however, it was all downhill from there. We received some of the worst service throughout the rest of our dinner. For starters, we had 3 different people waiting on us without any explanation as to why that was. We had to wave our waitresses down for both our drinks and food. It took well over an hour after placing our order for entrees for them to come out. Upon looking at our entrees, we noticed that the plates were completely disproportionate even though we had ordered the same side. My friend's meal had maybe 1/4 of the amount I got. We both got steak tips and upon receiving our meals we discovered that they did not cook our steak as requested (or some pieces barely at all). We were unable to voice our concerns to the waitresses because nobody was available, even when we went up to the bar. After waiting about 15 minutes for someone to come over so we could ask to have our food cooked longer, we lost our patience and we just wanted to leave. I had to get up and ask a busser behind the bar for the check. We paid for a very expensive meal. Between the two of us, we had 4 drinks, 1 appetizer, and two entrees. When paying so much for a meal, you should be guaranteed quality service. I'm very disappointed in the whole experience. read more

We've been coming here for years and even signed up for their loyalty program. The last couple times have been terrible. There is no staffing issues as staff is hanging around all over the place talking. Our food came out cold as the waiter was making himself a drink and filling glasses at the bar. Met a friend for dinner here during the week. It was a little busy at the bar (where we sat) but there were 2 bartenders on. They were a little overwhelmed so we did have to wait a bit for our meals and drinks. After calling us "ladies" for the second time I corrected her and said I was with my son. She apologized and then proceeded to call us "ladies" three more times. Where to begin. I'm always eager to try a new place. This restaurant just opened a couple of days ago so I figured why not, how/why could it possibly be bad? It was a lot less busy than I expected when we got there so we figured great, easy in easy out. Upon arrival we were seated at a dirty table, the hostess did apologize for seating us at the wrong one. It took 10 mins for our server to greet us and get our drink order, 20 mins to get our water and 25 mins for our wine. To eat, we ordered the Chefs Plate app, Cucumber and Avocado Tuna and the Turkey Burger. Our server to tell us that they work out of a "scratch" kitchen so one can only assume that the food would take a little time to prepare. After waiting 45 mins she asked if we'd like some bread with garlic butter, ummmmm ya? She returned with a tiny piece of torn bread and a tin with the butter. Finally, after about an hour, we received our Chefs Plate (see pic). A half hour later our server asked if we wanted ketchup and malt vinegar for our fries, she then brought those to the table. It took another half hour for us to receive our food. Both dishes were bone dry, totally unexpected. The manager was called to our table because we were clearly ticked off at this point. He explained that the employees in the kitchen were given "crash" training before the restaurant opened, apologized and took our entrees off of the bill. Like we told the manager, we can understand that it is a new restaurant, mistakes can/will be made just not that many and that we'll give it a couple of months for them to get organized and try again. Just went for the first time last night, I called ahead and was able to make a reservation for a party of four. We got there a bit early and were seated right away. Waitress was very nice and asked several times if there were any allergy/gluten concerns at the table. We ordered the spinach and artichoke bread bowl appetizer and it was great! I added a Cesar salad to my meal that could have easily been split between two people, I got steak tips which were cooked perfectly and sides of French fries and Brussels sprouts, my meal was delicious. My fiancé got the cure burger which he loved. The other couple we were with also got steak tips and pulled pork Mac and cheese, they loved their meals too. All said, with a add on salad, four meals, an appetizer, and several drinks (at least 2 mix drinks, 3 sangria, and probably 8 beers at the table) we spent as a whole table around $215. Asked if we had a waitress because we were sitting in a next to empty restaurant for 15 minutes. Three other tables full and already eating with five waitresses just standing around. Came with high expectations from family and friends but was let down unfortunately. Took over 12 minutes for waiter to acknowledge us and when he did it was a quick pass by and was another 4 minutes before he actually checked in. We had no silverware or plates and had to ask a separate waitress for silverware. Our waiter seemed less than thrilled to be there even though it wasn't busy and he only had 3 tables we could see. He never checked in after our appetizer was served and never checked if we needed refills on drinks as well. The app and meals were great but dessert was terrible. Had high hopes for the cinnamon donut with ice cream but the donut was a hard rubber rock...didn't bother to say anything to our waiter as he was no where to be found. After a long wait, tell me why these people gave me raw oats, tossed in I'm presuming a little cinnamon (brown color) that was sprinkled on partially cooked slices of tasteless gray apples (couldn't even cut them with a spoon) & called it apple crisp?! WHERE was the crisp??? You know, the crumbly topping from the top of the apple crisp! My friend got an Oreo brownie sundae. Again, we didn't finish either. I ate 1 slice of apple with some raw oats on it & ate all the vanilla ice cream. My friend didn't finish her sundae because "the brownie tasted off". I tried it & it was a taste & flavor I too didn't like...like way to much fudge in the brownie & the piece I tried to cut off with my spoon was very hard. When the bill came, the waitress did tell us they took both swordfish off because they agreed it was dry & overcooked...mind you as she's saying this both our desserts were just sitting in front of us well we talked. Had she asked how those were I would've told her but NOT to get them taken off the bill...just for future reference for whomever their chefs were. I can't see myself returning to this moderately priced restaurant for subpar food. Oddly enough the weekend before myself & another friend tried to be seated Saturday evening & they weren't taking walk-ins because they had 188 reservations...so we went to Red Robin & had the best burgers. We ate here tonight for dinner with one of our children because he specifically requested that we go. The food was good (burger, chicken sandwich, and the kids menu fish) and I feel like it's usually pretty consistent, even across locations (we have frequented Hopkinton and eaten once in Marlborough). I especially like that the kids menu has real food that is seasoned properly. However, I'm writing tonight because the service was really poor. We got there around 6:45 and were seated right away; the dinner rush seemed to just be slowing down. We were greeted right away by Terrence, who was adorable and charming at first. However, it was literally like someone flipped a switch when the adults didn't order drinks besides water. We barely saw Terrence for the rest of the night and when we did (when we flagged him down several times to request that he refill water, bring ketchup to the table, put in dessert for the young child at the table) he seemed visibly annoyed. After we ordered the scoop of ice cream, he disappeared into the bar area, where we watched him chit chat with the bartender for almost 15 minutes. We finally asked another server to check on the ice cream and run the check, and she was very kind and helpful; someone else ended up making and bringing the ice cream. The wild thing is that my partner and I both worked for many years in food service and for good service a 30 or 40% tip is not outside of the realm of possible. It sucks getting ignored and it makes an otherwise enjoyable experience a bummer. No one got a 30% tip tonight. read more

We were seated very close to the entrance, however, which was cold and we felt like people were very close as they were waiting for the hostess stand. Other than that, we had a fantastic waitress, Amanda, who was knowledgeable about the menu and checked in on us frequently. She even moved us away from the door when another table became available! She made great recommendations (spinach and artichoke dip!!) and timed the appetizers, meals and drinks perfectly. I had chicken tenders for an appetizer (they are not on the menu- you have to custom order them) and they are literally the best chicken tenders I have ever had in my life- I don't know why they aren't on the menu. They are the most juicy, mouth watering chicken tenders. For my entree I ordered the NY strip steak cooked medium with a side of garlic mashed and French fries. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was a nice pink center. The fries were outstanding! They were very crispy. The mashed potatoes were also outstanding! Don't bother eating here, this site needs more time to mature. Management, wait and kitchen staff have no clue what they're doing. The 110 chain has always had good food and reliable service but not here. If you want the gory details continue reading. My wife and I went on a Saturday during a slow time (after 2:00 PM). We were seated promptly and that's where anything good ended. The waitress took 10 minutes to come over to the table, took our drink order and disappeared (no alcohol was ordered) but it still took 10 minutes. When we finally ordered our food it took another 25 minutes to get served. The food was brought to us by another member of the staff (not our waitress) - my salad was fine but my wife's meal was clearly overcooked (so badly that she didn't recognize it was what she ordered). The waitress finally came back to the table and said she'd get the manager. The manager came to the table and recognized the fried chicken was over cooked and offered to make another piece of chicken - that's right not another meal. Slow forward 15 minutes and Houdini came back and attempted to clear the plates - except my wife was still waiting for her recooked chicken. Manager delivered the newly cooked chicken which to be honest was still overcooked but not that badly. Here's the worst part - our disappearing waitress comes back 3 minutes after the 2nd liege of chicken arrives and asks if my wife would like a to go box (here's your hat what's your hurry!!!). Even though the restaurant was busy with wall to wall people he was attentive, efficient and was determined that we have a positive experience. The food was delicious and service was great.
