View is great, food was pretty good, but service unfortunately detracted from that. Our server (I won't name her but her name is listed on other recent reviews here too) seemed annoyed every time she had to talk to us, didn't check on us at all, and it took us 30 minutes to get our check ran from the time we said we wanted to leave, even with having the credit card on the table. It wasn't busy enough to justify the poor service. I assume our server has access to coffee back in the kitchen - maybe she should have a cup or two and get some pep in her step. read more

The crab fritters has no crab, however the crab cake was delicious ! This is my second visit and I was more impressed the first time.

This is has to be the most flavorful salmon I've ever had!!! Atmosphere was awesome. Drinks spot on and all of the staff super friendly. Went for a work function. Had a reservation, and still took a while to be seated. Apps took way too long to arrive, and came out minutes before some of the entrees. Entrees came out sporadically for the table, and the server neglected to check on us, refilled drinks only when requested, and neglected to place two of my coworkers orders, per the manager. The manager didn't seem genuine or remorseful in explaining what occurred. I'll never return, nor recommend this restaurant to anyone. read more

Perhaps the most bizarre restaurant experience of my life. We placed our order for cocktails and appetizers and after 37 minutes nothing was served. I calmly mentioned the situation to the manager as I was going to the restroom and when I came back to the table the server accosted me to say he wasn't late in delivering the food (despite the fact we ordered 30 minutes earlier). I was stunned to be addressed this way. Then while waiting for our meal, I asked for a glass of wine (my second drink of the night in 2 hours) and the server said the manager told him because of my aggressiveness he shouldn't serve me. What? After our food finally arrived we asked for silverware and the server told us that we only get one place setting and we were to use the used random forks on our table that we used during our appetizer course. Beautiful surrounding, wonderful setting, incredibly strange management and service. Find somewhere else to eat!!! I kept looking to see if I was being punked- it was so bizarre to spend 500$ at a restaurant for a group of 9 people and be treated so poorly. Don't support this place. read more

Visiting Baltimore and came across this beautiful rooftop bar. The view is amazing, crab cakes are the best I've ever had, and drinks are delicious! If I lived here it would be my go to spot. The staff is so warm and welcoming you feel like you are a regular your first visit. I will definitely be making multiple visits during my stay in Baltimore! This restaurant was very disappointing . The food does not add up to the scenery and ambiance. My friend had a burger which tasted like elementary school hamburgers-- rubbery, tasteless, unseasoned and the type of poor quality meat that sits in your stomach for hours. I'm sure wendys burgers are better. The chicken and vegetables tasted like a TV dinner and it came out cold, as did the terrible burger . The only thing decent was the Brussels sprouts. The service was not good, Adding to the disappointment. I expected way more from a restaurant inside of a decent hotel with a nice view, but this was one of the few times I had eaten out and wanted my money back. read more

I gave a 40th birthday party on June 27th. They tried to cancel me twice before with a paid contract 48hrs before because they were having a grand opening. I even have them recorded saying the PATIO was closed for water damage (all a lie even took us up for a comp lunch after hours of lying) and 3 hours later, missed time at work and after many tears they decided to honor to contract and gave the worst service ever the day of the party. They ran out of food, hired all temp staff and then temp staff told my guest I didn't pay for more food. Meanwhile the managers are running around trying to accommodate everyone. Gave free food off the menu..does that sound like a person whom didn't pay? Not even! I didn't even get food they personal asked me what did I want. All my guest complained but waited until after my birthday because I spent half the night asking ppl did they eat. They gave out free meals to come back etc. However I'm truly devastated. If it was not for my friends Making me enjoy myself .... I would not even had a little fun. No one should have to get need drinks (my friends brought a bottle because they waited so long at the bar) to calm down and stop focusing on all that wrong to enjoy what I could. I can't recommend them for anything...had I realized the service would be so terrible I would have let them cancel me. read more

My friends and I went to this restaurant on Friday night. There was a good quantity of people there, mostly professionals grabbing a bite and/or drink after work. We ordered a few appetizers and entrees: Brussels sprouts, deviled eggs with crab meat, crab sliders, MD crab soup, burger and fries, fish tacos, shrimp and crab pasta and the quinoa bowl. The Brussels sprouts were the best I've ever tasted! We had at least 4 orders. I'm definitely going back just for those. There were 4 orders of the fish tacos, and they were inconsistent. Two orders had one small piece of fish per taco. Another order had one piece of fish per taco but thicker pieces. The fourth order, which was ordered later than the others, came out with 2 meaty pieces of fish per taco. Seeing that was disappointing because it felt as though I paid full price for a dish that wasn't complete. Also, I had 3 sizable bones in one of my tacos. On a positive note, the parts of the fish tacos that were flavorful tasted really good, although the flavor was inconsistent. My friend mentioned that the pasta was just okay. Other friends who ordered the burger said their entrees were really tasty. Overall, between the atmosphere, the view and the positive experiences with the food, it's a 4 star rating. read more

I've been there twice now. The atmosphere is great. Beautiful views, nice location and decor. The low rating is due to a couple of factors. There first time I went they appeared to be shortstaffed and we're not sure they could accommodate the handful of us that were in the restaurant. It really wasn't crowded and most of the restaurant was empty. My friend and I were patient and ended up sitting outside and enjoyed ourselves overall. Food isn't bad but could use improvement. The first day we were there the bartender mention that the wings needed some work so we made sure not to order them after seeing several people send them back. Drinks could use quite a bit of improvement. In fact when I was there this past Saturday, August 11, 2018, I ordered a margarita and it was gross. It was the only drink I ordered as I was there for a party and we had a prepaid menu for food. I left the party and forgot to close my tab. Once I realized I attempted to contact the restaurant and absolutely could not get anyone on the phone. After I left my house to return to the restaurant, with only 20 minutes before closing, to try and reach someone they did answer the phone so I didn't have to go all the way back. I was able to speak to a manager who let me know they would close the tab and would reverse the $50 charge that was placed on my card as the tab was "still open." he mentioned that the checks from that bartender were a mess and he could not find my tab but would work on it and settle everything up. I asked if there was someone I could call back the following day if the charge was not reversed and was given a name and thought everything would be OK. I called back the next day because the charge was not reversed and again could not even get anyone on the phone. The phone just rings and goes to voicemail. It is nearly impossible to get a person to answer. By the time I did I was told that the manager was not in and to call back in the morning. That brings us to today, I have called back and, surprise surprise, no one is answering the phone. I've already called 5 times. This gas left a very negative taste in my mouth both with paying $50 for one of the worst margaritas I've ever had in my life and the lack of customer service, all the way down to just answering the phone. How does a new restaurant never have anyone able to answer the phone?? I wish the location success as I love to see new ideas and places thrive in Baltimore but they have a lot to work on. read more

My friend hosted a 40th bday party for her husband this past Saturday. We had stopped by about a month ago for happy hour to try the food and were impressed. I was excited for the party. Unfortunately, happy hour was a better experience. The drinks were awful and overpriced. Service from the bar was painfully slow for the number of patrons at the bar/restaurant. Managers changed several times from the time the event was booked until the day of the event and communication was severely lacking. My friend had covered drinks to meet a certain minimum. Later in the night, after we had a few drinks, the waitress came back and told us our drinks weren't covered and brought us bills. It would have been nice to know before we ordered. The restaurant is adjacent to the bar and we were in a reserved section. Several times towards the end of the party the manager told our group we were being too loud and other patrons were complaining. By this time half the party was gone and they only seemed loud because the place was half empty. I would recommend this place for happy hour on the deck on a nice day but not for an event. read more

Quite disappointing. I ordered the sliders and a basket of fries, my friends ordered the deviled eggs and wings, all from the happy hour menu. The only appetizing items were the wings. The sliders were extremely dry and tasteless, the fries were run of the mill shoestring fries you could get at Freddy's Frozen Custard, and the deviled eggs were far from special. The only thing remarkable about the eggs was the crab meat, and old bay sprinkled on top. Otherwise the yellow filling was just standard egg yolk whipped to a smooth consistency. I likely will not be visiting again for anything other than the fire pit on the patio. read more

went in for a nightcap after i checked into the hotel late. it was 45 minutes before closing on a tuesday yet i was welcomed cheerfully and told i could sit anywhere i wanted on the patio that had already been cleared for the night. I have been staying at the hotel for over a week now while taking a course and the staff here has been amazing - they have made us feel so welcome and have taken SUCH good care of us (especially Joy!!! She is INCREDIBLE). I can't even begin to say how much everyone has loved and appreciated everyone (especially Joy!). The food and drinks upstairs are great as well! I. Love this place and visit it often. jamal is their top bartender. But now that hes gone/leaving. They have hired unseasoned bartenders who appear if they have never worked preparing drinks. This is probably really 2.5 stars...but I guess I'll round up for a change. I stayed at the Residence Inn for a week and this is the hotel restaurant so why not give it a try...the resultant itself is pretty and ambiance is nice, but the food really left something to be desired for me...I tried the crab sliders. Menu said it had garlic aoli, which is a different twist to your old bay crab cake. First thing I tasted was burnt...the brioch bun had been "toasted" on a grill of some sort and it ruined the bread..the garlic aoli was bland and so was the crab cake itself. Next up was the lobster roll. Again...the roll was put on some sort of grill and made the bun taste burnt! The lobster was over dressed with whatever mayo concoction they made but had no salt or flavor. Pretty bland...so bland mixed with burnt, I'd say this was a below average experience. I only ate half my lobster roll, so to me, that's a waste. The fries that came with it were especially good. Very salty and crispy. Note to the manager or the cooks in the back, clean your grill! Or don't toast the bread that way, it doesn't work. read more
