We were in New Hampshire and were traveling to Cape Cod. We decided to stop at the 1750 Taphouse for lunch before enduring the Boston traffic. The 1750 is a Sport's bar. It has several large televisions and a full range of beer, including craft. I had a pizza (margarita-like) with a small salad.The pizza, which is baked in a brick oven was scrumptious. It was a tad too large for me, so I gave the last piece to hubby. He had a pub cheeseburger that was very good. The French fries were nice and crisp, but he only ate some of them because he also had a slice of my pizza. He also liked the pizza a lot. For a beverage, we both had a dark beer known as Kelsen Paradigm Brown. It was really delicious. I easily could have had another round if I hadn't gotten full from the pizza! Our waitstaff was friendly and helpful. This is a place I could easily frequent if I lived in the area. As a side note, I must mention that the bathrooms were clean, too! read more

The only reason why this is 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the toilet paper dispenser... It's super frustrating! If I could leave negative stars I would, my husband and I thought we would try a new place and we had heard good things about this restaurant. There was no wait it was early on a Sunday evening, the waitress took a very long time getting to our table and didn't bother to give her name. I ordered a North Shore sandwich, this was a giant plate of slop drowned in barbecue sauce and what looks like cheese whiz, the sweet potato fries were limp and cold. My husband ordered fish and chips, this arrived cold and was just greasy dough with a hint of fish. Took about 15 minutes to get the check, this was the other time we saw the waitress. This is the pub/taphouse Bedford, NH has been waiting for. The 1750 Tap House is a new restaurant to Bedford. My wife and I tried it out and left there quite impressed. The menu was great as it had pub favorites as well as unique dishes, the ambience was homey and welcoming and the service was friendly and professional. In addition, the prices were reasonable. Many restaurant owners come to Bedford and think they can jack up the prices here (see Murphy's Carriage House prices for complete highway robbery) but not the 1750 Taphouse. I ordered chicken wings and a burger. Pretty basic right? But it was excellent. One criticism...the chicken wings came with the usual carrots and celery but no blue cheese or ranch side. The burger was HUGE, cooked to perfection and was fantastic. My wife had a made to order funked out pizza with WAY too many vegetable for me to try but she said it was the best pizza she had in quite some time. The beer list was extensive and affordable. The service was amazing. Despite being slammed busy, they always were attentive and super friendly. They don't take reservations. So if your arrive during peak hours (especially during the start up phase) be prepared to wait. But...it will be worth it. read more

First off the service is awesome! The food,horrible! I got a white pizza with chicken the chicken was raw! The nachos we ordered were mushy. The drinks were ok but very over priced. The burger was a charcoal grease trap with no flavor! This is the second time we went here and both times very disappointed. No manager in sight to try to fix the issues. We are obsessed with this place. In the area it's the best pizza we have found so far that's anywhere close to good pizza. Wings are fantastic but overpriced. My husband and I were finally able to stop in to try this place. I have been anxiously awaiting its opening here in Bedford and I have to say it did not disappoint! The service was great. The atmosphere was fantastic and fun! Love the rustic decor. Our server was very friendly and helpful and was happy to oblige my request to taste a couple of the beers on tap before I committed to my choice. We each ordered a beer on tap and they were delicious! We got an appetizer to share, Fried Pickles, and they were amazing! I ordered The Bedford sandwich and it didn't disappoint. It was everything I hope and expected it to be. My husband ordered the Lord Russell and he said it was delicious! We were both so stuffed from our meal we passed on dessert but we did catch a glimpse of the sorbet with fresh fruit the table next to us ordered and it looks so refreshing! Tried this place for the first time. They have only been open 7 days. Unfortunately they have a long way to go. Beer wasn't very cold. A long wait for food. We asked for wings well done & they came out barely cooked. We got a small pizza which cost $11.25. Seems expensive for a small pizza that didn't have much flavor. We went on opening night a man this place didn't disappoint. Right from the beginning we were greeted by the gracious host and sat down with our party. Driving up last night this looked like a very nice pub type place, four of us walked in very clean cool environment we were greeted with a smile and promptly seated. Now for the bad news the food was horrible my sister got the smash burger and the cheese looked like shoe leather it was so burnt you could not recognize what it was, my wife got the chicken tender dinner the grease had to be very old or they were cooked way to long these things were nasty and never should have been brought to the table this was the first time we have ever seen black chicken tenders the meal was replaced and second batch was not much better we took them home and through them in the trash, my brother-in-law got steak salad after we left he said it tasted awful, I got a beef sandwich that was just ok not great. The waitress apologized and the manager took two meals off the bill however we are a one and done sorry to say we wouldn't go back. Just a follow up that we opted for a last minute stop her last night (instead of cooking as it was a long day) We got a large cheese pizza and a chicken finger dinner tossed in buffalo sauce (they don't offer an appetizer service no). Both menu items were delicious. The pizza had a nice tomato sauce (not too sweet), the crust was thin yet substantial, and it was cooked to perfection. The chicken was tender and juicy. My wife prefers BBQ to Buffalo and they honored our request to toss 80% of the order as hot and a few were left plain. They have thus far accomplished what we had hoped for, consistency in quality, accommodating of customer requests, and fair pricing! We are big fans and hope the satisfaction continues!! read more

We have gone once for dinner, once for breakfast, and once for takeout....... only been open a week!!! Dinner was pizza and a burger...... beer was cold and there a number of offerings I had never tried before...... pizza came out hot and was delicious..... the burger wasn't bad but we decided the pizza was way better.... The need to get the kinks out of breakfast..... it's was well prepared but it took 45 min to come out.... We got take out pizza a third night and have decided that it's real good and will be our go to pizza for now.... All in all a good start!!!!! read more

We visited last night and all I can say is...WOW! Walking in at 5pm, we were met by the friendly hostesses. We were sat right away, however there was already a wait by 6pm. The decor is casual, and cozy. The menu is extensive with choices for everyone. There is a 20-beer tap list, brick oven pizzas, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and lots of appetizers. Every menu item is under $20 as well. Our waitress was very attentive and the manager Tracy came by to check on us as well. We can't wait to return soon! read more

Food was good, bartender was very nice but everything is over priced. Their appetizers are about two to three dollars higher than other restaurants with the same apps. No reason to go back if I can get the same thing for Better price. They need to wow me if I'm going to pay $14 for an average sandwich but unfortunately that didn't happen. read more

June 2019: Brought my husband to the 1750 Taphouse on a Thursday evening for his Birthday. Arrived around 7:30pm and it was busy. Waited about 10 minutes for a table and were seated in the corner. Restaurant was quite chilly and I needed to keep my jacket on the entire meal. We were promptly greeted and ordered drinks which arrived promptly. That was the end of the decent service. We waited an hour for our meals. I ordered Fish & Chips and my husband ordered a pasta dish. The French fries were extremely salty and the fish had a lot of batter - disappointing meal. My husband's pasta was great. The server knew we were getting impatient and she told us a dessert was on them. That was a nice touch but bringing us something while waiting for the meal would have been appreciated more. Overall disappointed. read more
