Cheeseburger came out hot but you could tell fries sat for a good bit. Fish and chips, fish seemed like was store bought frozen, bland. Server did bring fresh fries and she was nice about. The ambiance is fantastic, with beautiful views of the water and plenty of TVs throughout the restaurant if you're looking to catch a game. It's the perfect spot to grab a cold beer, hang out with friends, and enjoy the laid-back Daytona Beach vibe. The food was exactly what you want from a waterfront bar and grill. The oysters were fresh and delicious, the Firecracker Shrimp had just the right amount of heat, and the seared tuna appetizer was outstanding. The fish tacos were absolutely bomb, and the smoked fish dip was another standout that I'd definitely order again. Service was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. They also have a large private parking lot, so finding a spot is easy, which is always a plus. Overall, Riverside Johnny's delivers great food, good service, waterfront views, plenty of sports on TV, and an awesome atmosphere. Whether you're stopping by for lunch, dinner, or just a few beers by the water, it's definitely worth a visit.

The setting is fantastic, with both indoor and outdoor seating that creates a great atmosphere, especially for a date night or special occasion. The food was really good. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked well and full of flavor. Overall, everything we had was enjoyable, and the quality of the food matched the restaurant's atmosphere. The highlight of our experience was our waiter. He was attentive, friendly, and provided excellent service from start to finish. Unfortunately, the bar experience wasn't as enjoyable. The bartender was very strict about checking IDs. Every time I ordered two drinks, he wanted to know exactly who the second drink was for and requested multiple IDs. I completely understand following the law and checking identification, but having to repeat the process every round became a bit frustrating and discouraged us from ordering additional drinks from the bar. Even the manager seemed like he was having a stressful day, but despite a few service hiccups, the overall experience was still very positive. If you're visiting Daytona Beach and want a nice waterfront restaurant that's a little different from the typical beach spots, Mama Foo Foo is definitely worth checking out. Great food, beautiful views, and a perfect place to take someone out for a nice dinner or date night. I'd happily come back.

Thankfully management replaced the dish immediately and was sorry for the inconvenience. But my family and I had to occasionally swat away these little flies every few minutes. The food was good, though in my opinion a little overpriced. Ambiance was slightly upscale, but most dressed casually. I personally wouldn't return unless the fly situation has been handled. Update: Husband showed signs of food poisoning. Will DEFINITELY not be back! And definitely don't get the shrimp linguine!

Call some friends for a meetup or a convenient pitstop on the way to the beach or a Downtown/Ocean Center/Main Street event. All eggs and omelettes cooked fresh to order (understandable slight wait), along with a buffet selection of bacon, sausage, french toast, biscuits, sausage gravy, a toaster with a selection of breads/muffins, jams and fresh fruit of the day. Great value for $15! Coffee is included with optional brunch drink specials from the full bar. Food items on the buffet were overall tasty, and it was well attended, clean and kept coming out fresh. Beautiful dining room and bar with opened garage doors and a few outside tables. Service was spectacular and above and beyond considering the crowd. Definitely recommend and will keep coming back as one of my new Sunday options!

My hubby had been working outside all day and asked if we could wait for an inside table. The host personally went and cleared/reset a table for us. My husband tried to tip him and he would not accept it. Our server was Cassandra and she was amazing. After dinner and dessert we asked for some recommendations amd she had some great ones. We had the lamb, a filet and a ny strip. All were cooked perfectly. The standout for me was the fried chicken. You can add a breast or thigh to any meal. I had a thigh and it was one of the best I have had. Crispy, tasty and the chicken itself was tender and juicy. When I come back I am definitely ordering the chicken! If you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. There is free valet parking, which is helpful since there is not a lot of parking. The valet were hustling! Did I mention the heat? Don't forget to tip them. The faster they move the higher the tip in my opinion.

Hahaha…read more Three families converged in Daytona for one epic meal and a full night of laughs and we were not disappointed. The best portion was the wait staff, they are intentionally acerbic and if you're faint of heart this probably isn't the place for you. But, if you can take a joke and enjoy dishing out a little sass in return you'll fit right in here. Dick's is spacious, full of games to play if you want, a bar and live music set up, and a pretty damned good view of the beach. The food was mostly good, the chicken wings were found to be a bit tough but still okay. The steak was well seasoned, and the fish bites were really tasty! I doubt the claims of the alcoholic content of the giant bowl drinks, having been forced to finish off not just mine alone but also my sister-in-law's giant margarita, and was more than capable of navigating the stairs and walk back to the hotel without difficulty, but they are tasty regardless. We had an issue where the restaurant was out of chicken and so they'd substituted steak for the chicken in the Alfredo and the chicken Caesar salad but still charged us the $9 up charge for something we had no control over, however the general manager was kind enough to reach out and resolve it all for us before we even left town the next day. Overall we had a blast and we'll be back.
