Mom called stating the shower wasn't draining. 5 months ago the toilet got clogged and flooded the house so we didn't want to chance it being out of state. Technician came and said $750 to snake the shower drain and I believe $250 to auger the toilet. Being a Licensed GC a few states away, I said thanks but no thanks. Hmm. Hard to judge. Staff was super friendly and they did everything they could to resolve my issue but at the end of the day it took a different plumber to actually get the hot water heater company to send the new part which fixed my issue. It was unfortunate as they wanted to upcharge for the repair which ended up being under warranty. read more

A company with Integrity! Recently, my wife and I needed some work done in our master shower. A technician came right out and did an assessment and returned a few days later to perform the job. Sometimes, even with the best of intentions and the most thorough planning, mistakes and miscommunications can happen. A small problem turned into a much larger job than any of us could have imagined. Through it all, 2020 had our backs. We were in regular phone and email contact with the owner, Anastasia. She and her company were proactive in their customer service and made every effort to set things right. 2020 is a company which stands by its work but more importantly, they stand for their customers. My home warranty AHS sent them out since my water heater broke. The first contractor that came out was rude and unprofessional (Jose) as he began to argue with me since I didn't understand the terminology of what he was saying about my home warranty coverage. In addition, I felt more comfortable calling my AHS to discuss it myself. Since I decided to voice my objections and lack of understanding about the cost and repairs, Jose stated I had an "attitude" and then threatened to not help me as he stated he could temporarily fix the hot water issue until the new hot water heater was ordered. At this point, I was about to tell them to leave my property. I decided against it as it was getting cold and I needed hot water desperately. Therefore, I decided to call and speak to the manager Anastasia who had always been so professional, kind and helpful. She heard my concerns and apologized for Jose's unprofessional service and even agreed with me that he was out of line. She mentioned that she would speak with him and would send out Abdul who was the owner. I was pleased with her response. Jose calmed down and temporarily fixed my water heating issue until the new heater came in. Unfortunately, their service did not improve even after speaking to Anastasia. As promised, the owner Abdul came out and he was even worse than Jose. He didn't even introduce himself and went straight to work. I thought...well maybe he isn't talkative but when someone is coming into your home and personal space, a nice introduction of who you are should be standard. As Abdul began to work on installing the new water heater, it turns out that the job was more complicated than he originally thought. Unbeknownst to me as a first time homeowner, my water valve wasn't working so he informed me to call the city to turn off my water. I asked Abdul numerous times how much time does he need the water to be off. He stated 30 minutes. When the city worker came out to turn off my water, I told them for 1 hour to give Abdul some wiggle room since he seemed to be struggling to get the job done. About an hour later, the city worker came by to turn the water back on and because Abdul said he only needed 30 minutes, I told the city worker to turn the water back on. I let Abdul know and he started panicking since he stated he needed more time and that I should have consulted with him before having my water turned back on. I reminded him that he told me that he only needed 30 minutes and if he needed more time, he should have informed me during that hour that the water was turned off. Of course, since Abdul was not done, water was spurting everywhere. We both ran after the city worker but he didn't hear us and drove off. Abdul blamed me for the entire thing. I couldn't believe once again, I was dealing with hired contractor in my home yelling at me for his mistakes. I was tired and just wanted the job done. I called the city again to come back out and turn off the water and they stated since it was going to be off after hours, they would charge me a high fee (I believe it was $100) to turn the water back off again and have someone turn it back on. I informed Abdul this was his fault but just like the last worker, he took no responsibility and said I should have know better as a homeowner. I informed him over and over again, I am a first time homeowner and I am learning as he ignored me and walked away from me. I couldn't believe this was happening. We had to put towels around the pipes to stop the water from spurting everywhere and I was so concerned about mold growing in that area. The city worker came out and I paid the fee since I just wanted the job done and for Abdul to get out of my house. When the city worker came back, Abdul also fussed at him too and the man was just doing his job. Abdul blamed everyone but took no responsibility for his poor communication to both me and the city worker. I just prayed to God that this situation would be over soon and my water heater would work. Five hours later, the job was done, I paid an additional $600 and Abdul sheepishly apologized when he left. I was done with them and their company. I wanted to write this review earlier but I was so upset that I wanted to wait until I was able to write this without becoming emotional. This is NO WAY for anyone to act or treat a person particularly when they are paying you for a service and supporting your business. Since I had to go through my home warranty, I had to deal with this horrible and company and exhausting experience. read more

A friendly representative immediately picked up my call and scheduled the plumber for the very next day. Josh, the plumber, alerted me on the way, had shoe covers and a mask on upon entering my home and was very courteous and professional. This is the worst plumber, I ever had. I called them to unplug the drain in my house, they used a bigger size snake, they got it stuck in the drain. It costs me several thousand dollars to get it out by another company. The main drain needed to be dug out and cut to retrieve Abdul's snake. Abdul made a false claim that I have a broken pipe and tree roots were in my drain. Nothing if that existed. There were cleaning wipe in the drain and Abdul used a too big size snake. With all the damage he caused he insisted to be $550 leaving me with his snake blocking my drain. The house remained inhabitable for one week before spending more than $4000 to get the snake out of my drain. Awful experience, never call this plumber. You never offered a refund of the $550, this a lie. You , in fact, refused to pay me a refund. Second the excavation you recommended was never needed and was an attempt to get to pay over 4K fir something that was not needed and still not needed. It did cost me several thousand thousand dollars to pull out the cable out from the drain. The house became inhabitable for several days while Abdullah cable was stuck in May drain. Abdullah disappeared and came back when I called him to come and collect his retrieved cable by another professional plumber. NO REFUND AND NO APOLOGY FROM ABDULLAH!!! read more

We had a leak in the main water line outside the house. Fairfax water told us we were responsible for repairing it. For this repair a brand new pipe needs to be installed underground. Abdul from 2020 gave me a fair estimate and was able to start the job quickly. His team was knowledgeable and efficient. There were some weather related delays but Abdul was easy to communicate with. I'm glad I obtained several estimates from different companies because I learned different things from each company and that made me feel better about Abdul's plan. This is just another rip-off plumbing company that charges high dollars even if very little is needed. They wanted to charges us $270 for just the visit, then another $75.00 to hand tighten the plastic bolt on the bottom of the toilet. That was all that was needed... hand tightening that little plastic piece. I understand the visit charge, but $270 is high for a visit... then to charge an additional $75 on top of that, is just ridiculous. Consider getting a plumber who is not interested in ripping off clients. read more

I highly recommend this company. I had a leakage from the copper pipe in the basement ceiling due to a pin hole from the refrigerator hose. Jose came and checked the pipes and the hose. He recommended replacing the pipes and the hose to prevent from a future leakage. He answered every question that my wife and I had. He was very kind and nice to explain so that we can understand. Also every time when he comes, he always bring extra cover shoes so that he would not get my carpet dirty inside. This shows how caring he is for customers. He came to the appointment and fixed within 2 hours. We also had a toilet problem and faucet problem, and we asked him about his professional knowledge. He just gave such a good explanation and recommendation. His coworker even fixed our toilet problem free of charge. Update: The owner Abdul (Joe) came out to my property and reinspected everything and snaked the mainline again. He also explained possible causes of my issue and gave me a couple of options for solutions. I really appreciate him taking the time to come out and resnake the mainline and explain everything to me in detail without an additional charge like the first plumber wanted to do. I only wish this was all done by the first plumber who came out so I could better weigh my options initially rather than paying to have the toilet replaced without knowing that the problem could persist due to other issues (outside drainage, offset flange, etc.) So while I am happy with the follow-up service by the owner, I am still left with having paid a significant amount of money for something that only partially addressed an underlying issue. Knowing what I know now, I may have attacked the problem a little differently to fully solve the issue and potentially could have saved a little money. Initial Review: I called 20/20 because we had a toilet backing up in our basement. They sent a plumber and within minutes of arriving told us that the problem was that we needed a new toilet. We paid $600 for him to install a new toilet thinking that would fix the problem. Within weeks the toilet started bubbling and backing up again. About a month after the initial service, the problem became even worse and the toilet was backing up to the point of overflowing. I called them to schedule a follow up appointment and they gave me a window of 1-3pm. No one ever showed up. After calling over and over again, I got a call from the plumber who installed the toilet and said it was probably a problem with the city's mainline and also that there would be an additional charge to have someone come out! Are you kidding me? An additional charge to fix your mistake?! Just to cover all of my ground, I called DCWASA to come inspect the city's main line and they said that the main line was clear and that the plumber was supposed to file a report with the city, which he did not. When I told the plumber about this, he had no idea what I was talking about. Really, really disappointed in this company! read more

It was the drain at the steps to my basement that caused part of the flooding, so he came in the middle of a downpour and worked for an hour to clean out the drain. We called several different plumbers (the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend) No one was available. The earliest a plumber could get out was Tuesday. Our sink was completely clogged and our dishes were piled up. My brother, an HVAC professional, tried using a plunger and we took out the excess water ourselves. 20/20 Drain Clean came when they said they would come. A little while later, Joe called and said he could be at my house in 45 minutes! My kitchen sink clog ended up being a bigger issue than expected but Joe didn''t give up. After needing to cut a pipe and snaking it 3 times, he cleared the clog. He gave me a great price and didn''t charge me for the pipe cutting or viewing the pipes with the camera. this company was very good to me ,they called me told me when they would be here actually showed up a hour earlier. Inspected the water heater and surrounding pipes found out where the leak was coming from (water heater) DAMM oh well so called the home warranty people and of course the water tank part isnt covered in the warranty unreal but that has nothing to do with this company.Joe was the guy who came out to my house very clean conscience about walking in our house little booties on his shoes every time he came in. Requested a quote Sunday night for a clogged kitchen drain and they were able to come at 8AM Monday. Did a great job.

If there were a minus star, I would give it. The plumber came, did some work that seemed to have cleared my drain. Within a few days, the drain was clogged again. I called the company and was told there was no record of a service to my address. Contacted him directly. He came back. He showed me the drain through a camera which died before he could get a clear look. He said the clog was probably tissue. I got another apparent fix. He said he was not able to clear the drain completely. He said I'd need to pay an additional $1400 for a different procedure which may or may not work. Within another few days, the drain was backing up again. I contacted the plumer to request a refund since he did not successfully complete the job. He said he would consider my request and call me back. I have not heard from him or his company. read more
