They are exactly what was sent, with my email address, phone number, and home address redacted. The first issue with my new HVAC system required 4-5 service visits over multiple days before it was resolved. After the issue was resolved, I repeatedly asked about FH Furr's advertised $500 No Frustration Guarantee. I never received a callback or any type of explanation--they simply ignored it. The second incident was even more frustrating. After my service request had already been pending for over 24 hours, my appointment was pushed back another five days during a heat wave because a specific technician was apparently needed. I called back to ask if another technician could be sent sooner because waiting five more days was not acceptable with 95+ degree temperatures and the upstairs reaching around 80 degrees with two young kids. At the same time, I asked that a manager contact me to discuss my concerns with how the situation had been handled up to that point. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back (twice by phone and once through a technician), but nobody ever did. I followed up with two detailed emails to document the issue and give FH Furr the opportunity to handle it, including asking again about the $500 No Frustration Guarantee. Those have also gone unanswered. If you end up with an issue requiring anything beyond dispatching a technician, don't expect management to follow through. At this point, their $500 No Frustration Guarantee feels more like a sales promise they have no intention of honoring. Every technician who came to my home was professional and did everything they could to help. They are not the reason for this review. This review is entirely about FH Furr's management and customer service. I will only be contacting them for future HVAC repairs while the warranty on their installation remains active--and only because I have little choice.

Their technician - Joe - is a knowledgeable, capable, conversational asset. Despite unforeseen conditions requiring repair of the plumbing connection that was to remain, and two toilets that were leaky from manufacturing defects, JF Plumbing and Heating responded on the fly, taking the working parts of each while diagnosing slapdash repairs by the previous owner - that may have led to the broken toilet we had to replace - in the process. As of the day after replacement, everything sems in great working condition. It's been rare in my experience that tradespersons call to keep me apprised of their status on the day scheduled for the work. Thanks to Melanie, too for the heads-up. Six stars! ref: I'm a architect.

By Sunday morning the backups returned. JF returned and again snaked the drains. Very nice technicians and hopefully the job is completed for good. However, I was charged another $350!!!! I called to ask why I was charged again for what was clearly a redo of the previous job 2 days prior that was not successful. I was told it was the company's policy to charge for another visit. Apparently the company does not stand by their work. I do not recommend.

They kept me apprised of the situation, and explained to me the procedures, and the cost. I know very little about the intricacies of plumbing, but those two assisted me much to my considerable satisfaction. My shop vac was to the right of us as I was using it to get the water up the day before. I told them I can use it myself, they said no no sir, we have our own shop vac we'll use to get the water up. They said verbatim "we'll take care of the water." Well, they did not. They cleaned the lines doing the hydro jet and apparently got my dad to cut them a check while leaving my laundry room and the adjacent bathroom, flooded with nasty-soot filled water. It's amazing how they didn't check with me prior to finishing, they just told my pops who's 77 and struggles to get downstairs they were finished, and we took them at their word. I guess if they checked with me, I would have asked them to suck up the water, hm starting to make sense now? Don't cut corners: if someone says one thing to me directly, makes me trust them only to avoid following through, makes me want a chunk of my money back. Then, when I called and spoke to Malinda to get answers as to why they left the area flooded and in worse condition, they had the audacity to say it was like that before they got there and that I needed to call I sanitation specialist because they don't deal with that. It ain't your fault Malinda, but damn how do you make a mess and not take responsibility for it? I appreciate your companies response time in getting out here, but my before and after pictures speak for themselves: you didn't finish the job properly, and the two guys who came out knew they weren't done but took advantage of me in that I was not the one paying. They lied to my father, said they were done and left. Now I'm stuck with puddles in my carpet outside the bathroom. Shake my damn head. Thousand bucks for 30 minutes of work, and they couldn't do what they said and get the water off the floor. There's more water and sewage in places it's never been, appreciate the warning. Why would you guys assure me you'll do something, only to not do that one thing. Now you guys suggest calling another company to clean the mess yall made. Who does that.. it's evident you do not care about your customers.
