The piercings here are extremely unsanitary. A man named Eric pierced me and my friend and I saw him reuse the needles.

My teenage daughter has been wanting a nose piercing for sometime now. After she's accomplished so many of her goals I decided to spontaneously let her get it late after dinner in Old Town SD. We live in Los Angeles area but visiting San Diego for college tours. Randomly finding this place open, saw good reviews I totally agree with after the fact, got an appointment easily at 10pm, place was inviting, clean and Eric was welcoming. Clear communication, took time for deciding placement and was good at his job. Afterward we were rewarded with kisses from his emotional support dog. Was a fabulous experience. i came to get my nostril piercing re-opened and was feeling anxious about it already because it was starting to look irritated & was fresh. i called beforehand and pulled up and i was feeling nervous and expressing that the piercing didn't feel great and i was unsure about the piercing. the piercer, an adult olderish white man, insisted that i could stretch it even more than the normal gauge for slightly more money and suggesting a ton of different piercings that looked bigger and worse for my piercing but cost more ?? . i was worried about how my body would react but he kept insisting the body survives a lot which is not comforting it just felt like he wanted my money and was neglecting my healing process. when i was feeling anxious i expressed maybe not wanting a piercing to which he said "dont waste my time" and crashed out on me saying i was being disrespectful and wasting his time ?? he did nothing to reassure me nor was he giving good advice. i was uncomfortable and deeply unhappy with the vibe and treatment from the place. i am a tattoo apprentice and ensuring the client is comfortable and their body is treated well is important and this did not feel like a priority. altering someone's body is an important and even sacred practice at times and this felt negligent and rude. i understand needing an income, but pressuring clients and neglecting their concerns and responding with more expensive and larger piercings was un uncomfortable. also he didnt have clean hands and was touching multiple different needles with his dirty hands and it transferred to pretty much most of his equipment read more

I had my nose pierced at a different place which they messed up and Eric was nice enough to fix that for me. I've been here a few times to fix a horrible tattoo on my throat. The artists here are truly one of a kind. I mean they are literally the most Talented you're going to find here in San Diego. Id sleep outside and just wait for Eric or Chris to have time to do my tattoo because they are so talented. I'm extremely picky about what I want and they Nail it every time! I had a great experience getting a tattoo done here. I did a walk in and was done within under 2 hours for a pretty good sized tattoo. I received great customer service and both Eric and Jonny helped me out a lot with brainstorming and deciding exactly what I wanted. Got a couple pieces don't by Brian and he is awesome. After only chatting a few minuets he knew what I wanted and was able to draw it up better than I would have expected from a 24 hour tattoo shop at 11 at night. He was straight forward with me that my ideas had too much detail for the size and we came up with something cooler. I appreciate that because a lot of places don't care as long as you sign the waiver and pay for it. I took my cousin who is only 19 and while she had to take her top off for a piece on her chest, Brian asked her to put a sit let over her nipple (even though it wasn't showing) and was respectable while going the work. I get they have shitty reviews but if you read them they seem to be tattoo noobs. There is only 1 guy over night so why are people pissed when they are busy? read more

Wow, I am incredibly disappointed by my experience here. I had difficulty getting a new nose piercing in, and called in advance to see if they would help. They told me to come over, then proceeded to tell me 1) I'd need to get a new nose piercing 2) I'd need to pay them for new jewelry and 3) if I was unwilling to do the first two, he provided steps that he could have easily stated on the phone. Ended up going home and doing for myself what other piercing stores have helped friends with in 5 minutes (and for free, although I would have definitely provided some thank you money). DONT COME HERE FOR PIERCINGS. I went to get my septum. He gave me a very large ring(almost a gauge) & pierced too low and through the cartilage. I had to go to a different piercer who said it would rip out from being so low. I had to get it redone. It was a waste of $70 read more

Great customer service and friendly staff! They have a cartoon like style to their work. They did a great job on my friend's tattoo. I would not recommend them for something super detailed, but they did have a few portfolios to look through and you can make you own judgement.
