For a KBBQ place in Temecula, this is the best you're gonna get! Perfect place to have your fix without driving to SD/OC/LA. Depending on how you feel about the price though.. they do have a $25/person Lunch menu M-Th. The regular price for the standard menu is $33/per. They also have something that is a higher tier for $42. I usually go during the lunch menu. The service is good, but they also are new! So patience is a key here. I enjoy the different sides they have here. Specifically the: -Green Onion Salad -Bibimbap -Rameyon There is plenty of parking as it is in a shopping center that also has 88 Ranch. Food was definitely good, meats were fresh and has the right amount of fat in it. There were a lot of sides to choose from, most of it are very flavorful especially the kimchi. They have tofu soup, steamed egg, and ramyeon, and their fried chicken was really good because it was so crispy in the outside and tender and juicy in the inside. The service staff was attentive, and they appear to know the foods they are serving. The place was alright in terms of space and decor, however, the vents on top of our table didn't really suck up the smoke from our table top grill. How it work: Reservations available through Yelp. Wait to be seated. This is a grill your own meat/seafood style restaurant. Their dinner AYCE menu has 3 tiers: A $52.99, B $42.99 & C $33.99. If you chose their Premium A Menu, then you also get all choices under the B & C Menu. If you chose B then you can also select from the C menu. Lots of sides. The mac salad was on the sweet side. The quality and cuts of the meats were really good and cooked tender. A few menu items are limited to 1 order but remeber, if it's more than just you dining, the limit of 1 order is per customer. Our favorite meats from the B menu were Chuck Eye Steak and Top Blade Steak. The Rib Finger Meat came out dry but we may have overcooked it. Service was great and attentive. Our Server Caleb was awesome! You can request for smaller servings of meats/dishes so not to over order. The Soondubo (Tofu Soup) was delicious and came out boiling hot. We love Korean bbq. Our mission is to try all of them. We usually travel up to Corona to get our Korean bbq fix... so I was super happy that we have this one close to home. Went during their soft opening. This place has potential but needs work. -1 star for the taste of the food. There are other places in temecula with better tasting meat for less money. In other words, the value isn't there at their place. -1 star for service. No less than five separate people came and kept adjusting our grill temperature when we didn't want them to. Furthermore, they wouldn't say anything. They just kind of oddly and quietly snuck over and would change the grill temp. -1 star for ambiance. There were no windows which may be tough for claustrophobic patrons , and a weird robot kept rolling around the floor playing the same Justin Bieber song on repeat performing absolutely no other function other than blasting i got my peaches down in Georgia. No I'm not joking. I'd recommend more training for the staff and some standard operating procedure's put in place. Season the meats, and leave the sauces and oils on the table. Bigger cups with less ice would also be a good call when serving salted meats. I may try this place again in 6-12 months to see if they get better with practice. read more

Growing up in Orange County, KBBQ was always so easy to find and almost always delicious. Since moving out to Temecula late last year I've been craving KBBQ and hoping to find one that stacks up to those out in OC/LA. Well, today for lunch we stopped by 2in1 and I'm so happy we did. Satisfied a craving I've had for over a year! Definitely stacks up to Orange County/LA KBBQ. The lunch price is good, especially for the choices you get. I know dinner is more expensive but they have three different options. The atmosphere is simple and modern and I liked the spacing of the tables, didn't feel like you were overly crowded. We were sat right away coming in at 12:00 pm, after about an hour the place was busy for a Monday. A sign to tell you it's popular, and with reason! The meats were definitely quality, the service was spectacular and quick, and the grill changes were often! Thank you Ryan, our server, for plenty of suggestions and a pleasant attitude and fun spirit! We got for sides: Corn cheese, dumplings, kimchi, green onion salad, mushrooms, onions and soondubu, the banchan was perfect as well. All of these were delicious and not too big of portions so you didn't feel like you were filling up on just sides. For meat: brisket which was perfect and great quality, bulgolgi - the flavor was just right, spicy pork belly which was lovely and the spicy flavor was balanced and delicious, spicy pork bulgolgi (my husband loved this paired with corn cheese and I got to say it was fantastic) and beef belly which was perfectly thin and melted in your mouth. If there was one word I could use to describe my experience it would be: ROBBED. I ordered the Premium A menu which was $53 a person and includes all meat options they have. The Ribeye steak and chuck eye steak were okay. The cap steak was marvelous. The beef short rib and top blade steak was actually pretty good. The 2N1 Marinated Galbi was average and the beef strip loin was a little better. Regular Menu options: I am typically not a fan of Bulgogi but the bulgogi here is amazing. The brisket is just average. I love the brisket at other places compared to this one. You cant really taste the buttery flavor from the fat on this brisket. It just didn't hit. However, they sold me the Premium A option but didn't even have beef sushi which was what I was looking forward to most, like I said, I felt ROBBED. NONE of the meat except possibly the small-portioned cap steak is worth spending $50+ dollars for. I've been to so many other places in San Diego and Orange County where you get the same and even better quality meat for $20 less. ROBBED. Not to mention, you spend $50 for a ONE ORDER quantity limit for the decent meats. The limit should be at LEAST 2. Nothing off the premium A or B menu was good enough to gatekeep to a quantity limit of 1 order. You can easily get a better experience and better meat's with not as many quantity limits for way cheaper at other places. Definitely come here if your looking to get ROBBED in broad daylight. If that wasn't bad enough, I didn't even get the proper grill, others who ordered the premium A menu got the more open that helps bring out the smoky flavor from the fire. ROBBED. But wait-- theres more. My grill was literally missing a piece underneath which caused the heat to be really high for no reason. But it caused the top layer of the grill to get stuck to the pan and it took the workers some time to take it out. So we were just sitting there for 5-10 minutes watching them try to take it out. The place is new and the worker who ended up fixing it was really nice. So I won't let this effect my score/review. Just thought it was worth mentioning. The sides were cool. I loved the rice here. The corn cheese was fine but I've had better. The steamed egg was super liquidy. The macaroni salad and regular salad were awesome. The fries were nothing special. The pickles were horrible. The cucumber itself felt so dry like they were sitting out, it didn't even soak in the marinade it was just sitting on the outside of the pickle. They were literally nasty, every KBBQ spot needs to at least have decent pickles. The Galbi Fried Chicken was delectable, perfectly fried, tender chicken with crispy breading. The sauce was succulent. That along with the cap steak were my two favorites. Did those two highlights make it worth the $50? No, not even close. The server I had was super attentive and nice which is why I am giving this place an extra star. It's just simply not worth the price. Even the Cheapest menu is not worth the price. I would much rather go to another place and get their most expensive menu at $33 than get this places cheapest menu at $28. This place is committing HIGHWAY robbery. Increase or REMOVE quantity limits / Lower the price. Don't come here unless you are looking to waste money. (If you care about the atmosphere, it's pretty bright and gives the place a good vibe however it is super unusual for a KBBQ place to be this bright. The restaurant was pretty spacious - tables weren't too close to each other. The tables are actually pretty big so there's quite some room between parties sitting on the booth side versus the chairs. We opted for the regular menu which offers your standard bulgogi, brisket, chicken, pork belly, beef belly options. The brisket was my favorite and my boyfriend liked the beef belly. The brisket wasn't dry and bland. Without the sauce it was still good. I think the spicy pork belly could be a little more spicy. They do offer unlimited sides. The Mac salad was on the sweeter side but I still enjoyed it. The dumplings were crispy and good! The corn cheese was great. I love that it was the shareable corn cheese plate rather than the smaller tins. The steamed egg was good, it a little watery though. The only downside was they didn't have rice paper!!! Brand new kbbq place opening up in the murrieta/temecula area is always welcome, especially with the limited options of such! We came on a busy lunch on labor day, but was seated fairly quickly (20 mins). Service: I didn't catch the name of our main server, but was an older lady who we assumed to be the owner. She did a great job with helping us with our needs, but most of the servers didn't really stop to check in with us if we wanted more food or not, although I'll attribute that to being extremely busy. They were still very quick to respond to us! Dining Experience: Multiple tables with vents over them, typical to what i expected at a kbbq location. I did feel like the seats facing the wall felt too "stiff", but didn't detract much from the experience. The grill also felt a little too small even for 3 people, but thats heavily in correlation to the food. Food: We ordered the regular menu, and tried most of the options on there aside from the spicy ones. The quality and taste of the meat was overall great. The only thing i wasn't a huge fan of was the fried chicken. We got 4 pieces, and 3/4 of the pieces were mostly just fried bits, and less chicken. They also (seem) to serve enough per plate of meat for 3 people, which is a little disappointing if you were still hungry but your party was full, because I wasn't really wanting to order more meat with the possibility of not finishing it. One of the better options here for KBBQ! Great for kids because they can get a separate already made side dish for them! My only gripe with them is the grill they use for regular KBBQ (not the open fire one). They don't fit properly, so the grill moves around while cooking. It slips in and out of the slot. The food is good the service isn't bad tbh The rice was cold this last time we were there , but I asked for another one and came in hot this time . I do have a constant complaint about this place , Prior to being seated, the side dishes are already placed on the table, which is totally cool, but..... they leave the side dishes sitting out for a while on a cart , which The maccaroni and fish cakes become dry .
