So, try to grab a table outside. Service is always superb here - staff is very attentive. You can't go wrong w anything. Char grilled oysters (split 50/50 between jalepeño and chipotle bourbon) are a must. They come out piping hot and are massive. My wife ordered the mussels which she loves and I opted for shrimp and chips. Big meaty shrimp and well seasoned / cooked fries. If you're nearby, this is a must.

We walked over and had to wait about half an hour in line for a table just before noon. Another person agreed to join us last minute but the host made it clear that only full parties could be seated so we held up the line a little bit waiting for them to arrive. They took too long to find parking so we ended up dining without them. The atmosphere was very busy with a lot of the people waiting to be seated in line talking about how this is an SF staple. The weather was nice and we opted to eat outdoors. Service was friendly and quick once we were seated. I've never had geoduck and recently saw it on an episode of Masterchef so we had to get the geoduck ceviche. We also got 12 oysters to split, a mix of Kumamoto and Sweetwater since my personal preference is for sweet oysters. The geoduck ceviche had a unique spicy heat to it. Geoduck has a texture comparable to octopus, so if you're into octopus you might like geoduck. Matt and I both approved of the oysters. It's easy to dine quickly when you're eating seafood so we probably only spent 20 minutes or so seated. Eating oysters for your first meal of the day probably isn't the best move as we both felt a bit queasy afterwards, at no fault of the oysters themselves. I would be open to coming back but these were definitely oysters on the pricier side and I might only recommend to tourists looking to dine beside the water.

I ordered the baja tacos to-go. They come with two fried fish tacos and a side salad. Ok the side salad has a simple but delicious vinegrette! This order was also so big I could've shared with another person. You would think two tacos and a small side salad is enough for one person but the tacos were HUGE! The service was great and attentive but most importantly they have FRESH & QUALITY seafood! They have salads, pastas, seafood boils, sandwiches and a decent kids menu. A must try if you are in the Bernal Heights area!

I had steamed mussels with fries. There were not enough mussels because they were huge and the sauce was more a broth and not at all flavorful enough. I usually love sopping up every last drop of the juice. But the really disappointing aspect of our dinner was the service. There were 3 people behind the service station. All of them need a training course on how to pay attention to paying customers. Instead they were all engrossed in private conversation with each other or with one particular customer. And one of the staff was simply intimidating, and very very loud. I suspected his behavior may have been chemically induced. Our waitress was very sweet, cheerful and helpful when we could catch her attention. But as I said a 15 minute training exercise each evening before starting work would work wonders. Like look around each customer every time you are not doing anything. And the more senior staff member was just uninterested and perhaps a little grumpy. So the food was blah, more flavor in the broth would help, and ok but at today's prices a "dinner out" has to be about more than just the food.

She made sure food was timed correctly and we got to enjoy each dish. Now that's attention to detail. Visited here around 2:30 pm on a Sunday and had no trouble getting a table. Great atmosphere. Very intimate seating. Ordered the crab cakes and fries as an appetizer. The crab cakes were great paired with an arugula salad. Fries were so good, I ordered two. The chowder was creamy and delicious. I love potatoes and it had the perfect amount. Huge fan of the chowder. Salmon tacos with flour tortillas and purple cabbage, YUM! The salmon so tender and juicy, perfection. I enjoyed how guilt free they tasted. The star of the meal was the lobster roll. I could cry happy tears. I haven't tasted a lobster roll this good since traveling to Boston. It was a 20/10. The roll was buttery and soft. There was a generous amount of lobster, so tasty. I would seriously come back for the lobster roll. You will not regret visiting this establishment. Don't miss out.

We shared two orders of the 3 piece fish and chips, grilled fish tacos, and grilled fish burrito. Fish and chips were fantastic. Hot, crispy, flaky. Fries were pretty good too. Tartar sauce was creamy and solid. Fish tacos were good too. Grilled fish burrito wasn't bad but more on the bland side. I'd say fish and chips were 5/5 but tacos and burrito were 4/5. I would try their poke burrito next time. Definitely a busy spot so plan accordingly. Took about 20 mins for food to be ready.

It came with fried fish, avocado, salsa, veggies and a spicy aioli sauce. It is cool that they use the fish they have for the day and the tacos were very refreshing with the lightly battered fish and fresh vegetables. A lot of people have mentioned this place as a must go for fresh fish and chips related dishes and I understand the hype about it after trying it. I would definitely go back again and try to avoid the lines by going earlier or ordering pickup.
