Kinda like a Chipotle of poke bowls, where you can customize. Though I stuck with the default configurations to see how good their signatures were. Overall, it was quite mid. Ahi Tuna Bowl: The raw tuna is splashed with sauce to order, so it's just not the same as real poke marinating in all those flavors for hours. This was noticeable also because some chunks of tuna tasted a bit too fishy. There was a variety of veggies, kinda piled on top, instead of mixed into the tuna mixture. That's kind of annoying since I had to mix it myself. Also, there was way too much seaweed compared to the other veggies.

good amount of food for the price. The salmon was good, scallop was fine. good texture I think it could be a little fresher but wasn't bad. shrimp was good. the other fish like tuna and yellow tail I think didn't look as nice as the salmon. I got the medium bowl. There is seating inside but I took it to go and ate at the park. two gals behind the counter and wasn't that busy. I put the order in on grub hub for pick up they made it fresh tho so I wait while they did that. I'd skip the chili oil. it is lao gan ma which I love but not in my poke.

Walked in due to my daughter wanting Miso soup. She just had spacers out in for her braces and her teeth were sore. I ordered 2 Miso soup(3 stars) needed more flavor and then they had a pic of some chicken(4 stars) on the wall. I didn't even catch the name but we ordered it. Plus I got a small poke bowl that came with 2 scoops of protein. It ended up be a lot more than I expected. It was tasty and I would come back for it The place looks clean, open and organized.

Clean ambiance... love the surf board. Service was warm & helpful. Food was a joy... had the ""Rainbow Love" with Spicy Aioli added.... loved it. Quality of fish is give a 4, but the variety of additions and sauce combos put it over the top for me. Not the easiest location to reach (1 block off Fremont exit)... but worth every penny. Had a great late lunch...of simple & delicious. Could improve the rice... but still a hit for me. Thank you, Sharine

Was visiting a friend during a layover in SFO and looking for a quick bite. Mahana store front was set up similar to a chipotle where you can select a pre made bowl or craft your own. Huge selection and bowl was crafted in less than 2 mins with generous portions. Great pricing for 3 proteins for poke bowl. Ingredients looked and taste fresh, good spot for a quick lunch.

This morning I was craving poke and looking around Fidi, this is one of the top rated poke shops (albeit with just 9 reviews). From what I've read, they opened just this July so it's only been around for a couple months I went with the Rainbow Bowl, which comes with ahi tuna, spicy tuna, and salmon proteins. I also asked for the house chili sauce which someone else recommended. The portions were quite good and fish was fresh. My one critique would be that the sushi rice wasn't quite sushi rice, it was more like plain white rice. Another downside was that they didn't have a water dispenser and they didn't have cups for water

This place is awesome. The food is super fresh and super tasty. The prices are reasonable for the area. The portion sizes are generous. My only semi-complaint was the slower than expected service. There was only one person working the counter when my coworkers and I arrived and it took a little longer than I would have preferred to get my lunch. Overall, this place is fantastic and I can't wait to go back. If you like spicy foods, try the house chili sauce...it's delicious!

Ordered through Doordash and took advantage of their buy-one-get-one-free chicken teriyaki bowl. I ordered two of them with brown rice base. I am not a fan of rice bowls but this one really hit the spot with the fresh ingredients and every bite being so flavorful. The packaging was neat so all my food arrived in one piece. I am so excited to try more items on the menu :)

the dine in place is very pleasant to eat and enjoy my own me time !! Food is decent and fresh, cuz I order salmon , shrimp and scallop for my proteins selection . I walk by this street almost every day and just noticed a new poke place called Mahana. Walked in to check it out and turns out -- it's only their third day open! Tried a bowl and was really impressed. Super fresh ingredients, the portion was solid, and the service was quick and friendly. Prices are very reasonable too. Definitely happy I stopped by -- I'll be back for sure!

Small dining area with one server who was attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. I chose the lumpia--it was excellent. My late mother-in-law was Filipina--and this lumpia was even better than her recipe as I recall. It was crunchy, not greasy, had an absolutely delicious meat center, and was twice as long as what she made. It paired well with the Italian arneis by Angelo Negro Vino Blano, as well as my companion's Kahlua pulled pork sliders. Beautifully plated. The tall ceilings feel expansive and provided a great venue for the old school albums spinning very interesting collection of music such as New Low by Mk.gee. Huge cool art on the wall, with a playful tiger. Huge wall art display of wine crates. Lovely open-air seating as you walk in through the entrance. Very happening place. What a delightful find.

Also, nothing is served with mac salad... The prices are pretty decent for SF. Maybe that's why this place is popular. They are takeout only and have one bench outside for you to eat at if it's free. Tried the garlic shrimp, the moco loco (idk why they swap the words), and the furikake chicken. Also had a spam musubi (when I ordered online for pick up, I couldn't add egg which is usually an option according to the Toast website). The garlic shrimp was missing a flavor that Hawaii has in their garlic shrimp. The color was very red but it was not spicy. They do have an option to make it spicy though. It was bland to me compared to what I'm used to when I visit Hawaii. The moco loco gravy was good, but the beef patty tasted dry and overcooked. They did have a runny egg too but it was oddly underneath the patties, so we broke the eggs while trying to split the beef amongst 3 people. The furikake chicken is probably better if you eat it right away since it's lightly breaded. We took it home so by the time we ate it, it was soggy. The sauce it is cooked in is a little sweet and wasn't too bad. The soggy chicken ruined the texture for me though. Each dish was served with a little bit of cabbage which I liked to get a little greens in the meals. The spam musubi didn't taste like it had any sauce, and they used so much furikake underneath the spam, that it made it taste fishy. Would not recommend. I can't comment on the service much since I ordered online for pickup. The guy who handed me my food after asking my name was nice and polite though. The only reason I'd come back is to try to the shave ice. The group in front of me got 3 for their kids, and it looked tasty. I would not come back for the food, but at least the prices aren't bad for SF standards.

When we got there about eight minutes later, we paid (it's cash only), and we're on our way in less than two minutes. For fairness, we will be comparing the musubi and chicken katsu rice plate to compare. This location's food is made to order so it is still burning hot when we get it.
