Meeting up with old friends and this location was recommended. It did not disappoint for filling that Mexican craving and washing it down with a spicy margarita is never a bad thing! Food was flavorful and service was quick. There are plenty of selections to fill your appetite and enjoy a great night with friends. Average noise and fun location to enjoy!

Ok, this is our families favorite local Mexican restaurant. The food is always great, the drinks are strong, and the people are kind. It can be a bit crowded especially on Tuesdays and not spotless but the atmosphere is warm and we truly enjoy this location.

Came here for Cinco de Mayo, was the perfect spot for that Mexican craving. The California Quesadilla was great, a little more cheese on it and it would be perfect. My server brought out chips and salsa right away, and was helpful and attentive the entire time. Inside has well designed wooden booths and tables, very authentic feel for Hickory.

Tried 3 Amigos for the first time tonight and it was excellent! We had the carne adasa tacos, enchiladas, and kids had the chicken tenders and fries and nachos. We also tried the guac, pico, lava cake, and fried ice cream. And took the birria tacos and al pastor tacos to go. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is clean, service was prompt, portions are large, and prices are good! We all had leftovers for tomorrow's lunch. We will definitely be back!

It is expensive for Mexican - but still good. It's just about 25% more than what we normally pay.

First of all....staff is amazing! "Why not take a tequila shot too?" Plenty of parking. Great for large groups. Huge food selection which is always a good thing lol. Service was quick and on point. No mistakes with our large group during a busy dinner time. Large alcoholic menu for those much needed happy hours from margaritas, beer, wine and various cocktails. Only down fall would be leaving the parking area during rush hour. Just pop in a good song and enjoy!

Always great service and amazing food. I've had most of the popular items from the menu and everything has been great. Having lived in the Southwest for many years I'm pretty picky when it comes to Mexican food and this place never disappoints. Today I had the stuffed poblanos. Soooo good.

On our way to OBX we stopped at Three Amigos while taking the business portion of route168 to avoid the 168 toll section. It was worth the diversion to avoid the $9 toll and to have a nice meal. The lengua (beef tongue) tacos and shredded beef burrito were delicious with very large portions. They also provided both salsa and a white sauce dips for the chips. Plenty to eat and prices were reasonable. Servers were helpful and even arranged for substituting shredded beef in the burrito. Only glitch was that servers disappeared when time to pay the bill.

I had high expectations, and somehow they still exceeded them. They're the highest rated seafood restaurant in the Virginia Beach area on Yelp, and for good reason. There was even a small wait on a Wednesday night, which honestly told me everything I needed to know before we even sat down. Our server, Jenny, was absolutely wonderful. She was friendly, attentive, and always seemed to show up right when we needed something. The head chef also stopped by our table and was incredibly kind and genuinely invested in making sure everyone was enjoying their meal. That level of hospitality really made the experience feel special. The meal started with a complimentary amuse-bouche of roasted golden beets, goat cheese, candied walnuts, and balsamic. It was a classy little bite that got the evening off to a great start. Then came the sweet potato biscuits with apricot jam...listen, I could've eaten an entire basket of those and been perfectly happy. For my entrée, I ordered the crab cakes with garlic mashed potatoes and seasonal vegetables. These are the kind of crab cakes people are looking for. They were packed with lump crab, full of flavor, and had virtually no filler. Every bite was delicious. From start to finish, everything was on point. Great food, genuine hospitality, and a team that clearly cares about what they're serving. It took me over a decade to make it back, but I can promise it won't be another ten years before my next visit. Highly recommend.

The service was top notch from the moment we walked in the door until we stepped outside. They were attentive and made sure we had everything we needed and even double checked to be sure what I ordered was gluten free. I ordered the Twisted Salmon Oscar (from the menu; Baked Atlantic salmon smothered in asparagus, lump crab meat, and dill-lime hollandaise sauce). It was sooooo good. I don't usually eat much but I ate way too much today! Larry enjoyed the Fresh seafood Combination with blackened flounder (from the menu; Fresh catch, sea scallops, and lump crab cake: broiled, fried, or blackened). He also ordered the Fried Eastern Shore Oysters (from the menu: Perfectly breaded, flash fried crispy, and served with our barrier island sauce) as an appetizer and said both were delicious. all of the food came out so quick and were perfectly cooked. While we waited we enjoyed drinks from the bar and they even brought out a small bit of poke, even making sure it was gluten free for me! And lets not forget desert. I enjoyed the creme brulee and Larry enjoyed the key lime pie. We probably shouldn't have had desert but how could we say no! The atmosphere is cozy and intimate. Perfect for a date night. We will most definitely be back!

Six of us came in around 6:30 for a college reunion weekend, wanting one proper local seafood meal out of the trip. We put our names down and grabbed drinks from the bar before choosing a space to sit outside. The restaurant is really big, with indoor seating, outdoor sea-facing tables, and a little market in the back. There's also a picnic table area with some giant lawn game going, which is where we enjoyed our drinks, making the wait genuinely pleasant instead of something to endure. For our first round, we tried the "crush," the local specialty, and ordered one of every flavor. Fresh squeezed juice, flavored vodka, triple sec, Sprite. Grapefruit and cherry limeade were the winners. The pineapple was awful. None of them were very strong, so after the novelty wore off I moved on to something more my speed (nothing beats a tequila soda). They also have a respectable beer selection. Our table ended up right by the water with a view of the boats, and our waitress was so helpful walking us through the menu, including the fact that lumpia is a local specialty here thanks to the area's Filipino population, which I did not know. We got oysters and three other appetizers, then split one entree between every two people since the portions are enormous. The fried shrimp was the unanimous favorite, and the spinach crab dip, lumpia, blackened crab cake (almost everyone ordered it), potato salad, and hushpuppies were all excellent. All of that, plus roughly two cocktails a person and tip, came to about $50 each, which felt like quite the steal for high quality seafood! Big attached parking lot, docks if you're coming in by boat, and the market sells shirts, hats, fresh crab meat, take-home versions of the appetizers, and fishing basics. There was a bit of a line/wait if you wanted to use the women's restroom (but isn't that the case everywhere?) I would definitely come back here next time I'm in town!!

From the moment we arrived, the hostess, Milk, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. She made us feel valued from the start, and throughout the evening she continued to provide excellent service to every table she assisted. She truly deserves recognition and a promotion. Unfortunately, our assigned server provided one of the worst dining experiences I've had. After taking our food and drink order, she returned only with our drinks and then disappeared for 15-20 minutes without checking on us. My friend's daughter's entrée arrived before our appetizers, and our appetizer--fried hard chicken wings--didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later. When we asked about the delay, the server said it was because we requested the wings to be fried hard. She then made a comment about "Black people in the kitchen cooking." Whether she intended it as a joke or not, the comment was unprofessional and made us uncomfortable. Because of the poor service and attitude, we asked if another server could assist us. While Milk continued to be wonderful, another employee with purple-blue hair was also very rude when we asked for assistance. Her attitude was dismissive and unpleasant. Later in the evening, around 11 p.m., I asked a staff member near the kitchen if they had lids for our seafood buckets. She responded "No" with an attitude. I then asked if they had to-go cups, and she said they did but claimed she was off duty. Less than 30 seconds later, she went behind the bar and began making and serving drinks, which made her response even more confusing. Shortly afterward, she began arguing with my friend at our table for no apparent reason. At that point, we asked Milk to get the manager. The manager came over, sat down with us, listened to our concerns, and apologized. He explained that he was actually off that day but had come in to help support the restaurant. We appreciated that he took the time to hear us out and said he would address the issues with his staff. The food itself was good, but good food cannot make up for poor customer service and disrespectful attitudes. We wanted this to be a memorable celebration for my friend's daughter, not an evening spent dealing with rude employees. Customer service is just as important as the food. Sadly, because of the experience we had, we will not be returning. I hope management invests in better customer service training because employees like Milk show what great hospitality should look like, while others left a very negative impression.
