I had the Jardin Ensalada withthe staek cooked medium and it was right on the money delicious!! Steak was tender and juicy which rivaled downtown (Chicago) steak houses. It has been added to my "go to" places to eat!!!! YUMMY! read more

Visited tonight for dinner and I'm surprised we haven't been sooner. The food was good and so was the service. They had a very busy night tonight and the servers were speedy, calm and attentive. I can't wait to come back and try something else on the menu. I read some reviews that it was pricey. I'm pretty sure I ordered one of the most expensive dishes and it was like 14 something. That was three salmon loaded enchiladas with beans and rice. I would love my food to be free just like anyone else but $14 for that dish seams reasonable to me. The salsa that they give you is amazingggg! We finished our first bowl in two minutes and when I asked for more our sever kindly said it was an extra $1.99. Fine with us! As long as you're told up front it's an extra charge, I don't see a problem. We had a great dinner! read more

We moved to the area from Seattle 2+ years ago and we've been searching for a good Mexican restaurant. Finally we found one. Great nachos (real cheese, including cotija, guacamole, and black beans by request), chicken and steak fajitas (flavorful and not oily, as can often be the case), veggie burrito for my vegetarian wife, quesadillas for the kids, and a few cocktails (raspberry margaritas and sangria...maybe a bit too much ice). Went for a great breakfast this morning. First, they were open on New Years Day! Yah! Second, the service was great. Victor was genuine and delightful. Something lacking in wait staff these days! Went for Cinco De Mayo. It was very crowded but the wait staff was friendly and apologetic. I totally expected it to be crowded, so the apology was not necessary, but it was a nice touch. The food was very good and the peach margarita was DELISH! I will definitely go again. read more

this food is absolutely gross! the pork tacos had an old odor and were try as heck. the beans were watery and tasteless the rice was still hard and tasteless. the chicken tacos were tasteless and once we pulled it apart we realized that the meat hwas grey and black. wanted to puke. called the owner and refused to give us back our money said we made rhe meat look that way by taking it to go. wth? stay away from here it is not worth it at all read more

So I heard this place was good so I decided to give it a try. . Food was excellent. Service not so great. We got there about 8:35 pm there main business hours sign said closing at 10pm mind you online website as well. . We went in sat down. Realized there was a contradicting sign on the glass door typed by management saying new hours closing at 9pm. Still there 35 mins before closing time we were served & that was about it .. the employees were to worried about closing so never go before closing time. Everything except the salsa was too spicy!!!! We asked for the mildest sauce but found it too spicy. Chicken and vegetables were soaked in spicy sauce. Never offered to accommodate us in anyway. We ended up leaving most of our entree as we could not eat them. We will never return. read more

Great place. We've been going once a week for dinner and are never disappointed. I've made my way through the menu and can't get away from the Tampequena. Simply amazing steak for $12?? I agree some of the combo plates that many places offer would be a good option, but then again, this isn't Las Palmas. Definitely check this place out. read more

I'm a fan. :) 3-4 visits so far. Always for the cheese & onion enchiladas. Fabulous. Good food, good prices, good service. Atmosphere isn't all that, but I'd rather have good food at a good price, than an exotic environment with food that is only so-so. Give them a shot. You'll be pleased. :) read more

While this is usually one of our go-to spots, Father's Day breakfast was a madhouse. We spent the meal waiting inordinantly lomg times for everything, trying to catch the eye of our waitress for missing parts of our meal, drink refils, soupy eggs, and being smashed into our booth table every time the guests behind us lend back against the rikety, broken booth backing. Just had there nachos W/ steak and they were amazing. The absolute best I've ever had.

The chips and salsa were good, kind of an odd decor as well and menu. Seems like they are trying to do both american and mexican and are missing quite a bit from both sides. No mexican lunch plates, so you have to order from the dinner side and they have just a few of the standards. I had the chicken enchilades and they were good, the rice and beans seemed like they not made from scratch. My wife had the steak tacos and the meat had a differant seasioning almost like a sage taste, just not our cup of tea. The food was good the price seemed a bit high. I saw they had chiliquiles but for 9$ with no meat was a bit much. If I an in the area I might stop back but getting into the place is quite a round about way read more

I love mexican food and was looking for a new place to try. I saw the name and had to ry it, just for the reference to the funny movie. Well, I was not impressed but not entirely disappointed either. The salsa was ok, the enchiladas with mole sauce was ok..sauce was a little bitter. I have had better. The guacamole was ok..not as tasty and had more onions than I like. This is a really good Mexican restaurant. The menu has lots of things to choose from including different types of meat/poultry fillings for your tacos, enchiladas, burritos, ets. I ate here about a week ago. I drive by there frequently but never stopped in before. I enjoy Mexican food. However, I am extremely dissatisfied with Tacos El Norte and Grande Jake which would be the other two that are closest to me. I was looking for a different Mexican restaurant to patronize. 3 Amigo's service was good. I have had better Mexican food but I have also had much worse. It is on par with the other two restaurants I just mentioned. The reason for the 4 stars and why I will return is this. 3 Amigos is the only Mexican restaurant in the area that does not charge triple the price or more for guacamole that is served on the side rather than in or on the food. I like guacamole on my tacos and burritos. However, I want it served on the side because when they put it in or on the food in the kitchen it gets warm by the time it served. I like the cool creaminess of the guacamole to contrast the heat of the food. I don't mind paying extra for it but if the menu says something like tacos are $2.85 each add 50 cents each for guacamole I refuse to pay $3.95 each for the guacamole because I want it on my plate along side the food. 3 Amigos sees it my way. The upcharge for the guacamole is the same whether it is on the food, in the food, or on the plate along side of the food. read more

I live close by and have been there before. Food is usually good, but had a bad experience there today and will never go back. The issue was that as soon as we sat down, the server asked what we would like to drink - pretty typical. Then when we order, there are menu items that include only certain drinks - i.e. Juice with no substitutions. We had already ordered other drinks so would have been forced to order an extra drink. We ended up leaving without ordering food because this is misleading in my opinion. Our server could not care less when I told her why we were leaving without ordering and just said, ok. Didn't ask if I wanted to speak to the manager or try to resolve the issue in any way. I'm very disappointed and will not recommend or ever go back. read more

First and last time here. Service was good. Food was not. I had the chimichanga which was pretty flavorless and lacking meat. There was meat but not what accustomed to having. The fried ice cream was not even fried. It simply was ice cream rolled in cinnamon toast crunch (I think) - it was not prepared correctly. As for the meal we finished eating around 1.5 hours ago and I have been nauseous ever since. I was fine all day and no issues until we had dinner here. So needless to say we will not go back. Grainy textured horchatas and choices of bland or flaming hot salsas not a good food experience. I have not thrown up in years but I think that streak will be ending tonight. Great read more
