They have a big menu to choose from spanning from fried rice, kimbap, bibimbap, to stews and more. Their signature "make your own bowl" had so many options, came generously portioned, and was so colorful and tasty :D The customization starts with a base: white rice, multigrain rice, japchae (noodles), or salad bases and moves onto a loooong list of toppings. A few of the more interesting ones like bellflower and fern brake roots were sold out when I ordered for dinner. And who else offers a fried egg for no additional charge as a topping? The toppings are yummy by themselves because they are already cooked or marinated. Definitely a great way to get one's vegetables! Proteins include bulgogi, pork belly, garlic chicken, spicy chicken, tofu, and even spicy squid. For kalbi, there's an additional cheese. The bulgogi was well seasoned and hit the spot! A little on the sweeter side but I didn't mind. The texture of the meat is mushier than the usual bulgogi, more of a Philly cheesesteak texture, but tasty nonetheless~ Don't count on this being authentically Korean. The bowls come with sauce options, but everything was so flavorful that I didn't use any! I agree on the hefty portion size; it's enough for a big meal if you're hungry and otherwise two lighter portions. Since the flavors, color, tastes, and flavors were so delightful, I finished it all so don't count on it lasting for multiple meals :) Patrons can order at the kiosks up front or schedule online to pickup. There's plenty of seating that looks fairly comfortable. Service was friendly enough. For more than $20 with tip, it's kind of expensive for a meal, but for the variety, taste, and relative healthiness, this meal was on point!

The kimchi fried rice is so good, it's a big bowl with spicy rice, kimchi, little cubes of beef, and a fried egg to top it all off. Even after surviving the bike delivery transit, the bowl looks great and tastes even better. It's got a nice heat to it that makes the otherwise heavy ingredients taste even more interesting. And I'm not kidding about portions...I've never been able to make it through more than half a bowl, and usually have to stop after a third!

A vegetarian/vegan friendly dish too! At around 6:30pm on a Saturday there wasn't a line, and the seating was only about a third taken, of the roughly 30ish seats available. Cafeteria-style so no frills here. With only one person in front of me, it only took a few minutes to order and maybe five minutes for my order to be ready. Staff is friendly and fast, making sure to check the level of spiciness for the order. I chose medium and liked the fire without blowing out my taste buds. At $8.45+tax = $9.20 a plate this is a good value for a meal and hits the spot on a hot summer day. Fresh, salty, sweet, savory, sour, slippery, crunchy--all in one bite! Taking it to go they pack the sauce separately and it's nice to have the option to use as little or as much as you want. Bathroom access is by key code posted at the front counter.

They have such a wide variety of interesting flavours and combinations, so I had a hard time deciding what to get. I ended up getting the honey garlic chicken burger combo and sweet chili chick n pop. The burger was one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had - the bun was light and fluffy, and the chicken was perfectly seasoned with the sweet honey sauce. The fries were pretty solid, but didn't stand out. I really enjoyed the truffle aioli sauce that I chose to come with it! I also loved the sweet chili chick n pop. I got the sauces on the side, but both were super good on their own or combined together. They're perfect little bites of crispy chicken and sauce! I'm super interested in trying the other flavours of fried chicken that they have. Food came delivered super quick - they did forget my drink in my combo, but I assume they might've just not had it.

They were flavorless and not crunchy. The cheese fries we ordered were lacking in cheese and flavor. But overall, we would go back and avoid the fries next time.

Don't let the small burger fool you, it's definitely heart. The burger has onions smashed in them and the patty is so juicy. A double cheeseburger burger for $9.50? In New York City none the less. Apparently, he had been here before and never said a word... after one bite, I'm not sure how that was possible. After a long day of being out, we were starving and needed something that would really hit the spot. We ordered the spicy cheeseburger with an Impossible patty and fries, and wow -- it was exactly what we needed. The burger was packed with flavor, satisfying, and somehow both indulgent and perfectly simple at the same time. Love how simple they keep the place. The lines move quickly and there is seating, but it is usually packed. They also have tables outside to stand. I'm already thinking about when I can go back. Do I need a reason? Do I need to actually be hungry? Probably not. That's how good it was. 7th Street Burger absolutely lived up to the hype, and I'm just annoyed I didn't know about it sooner. Can't wait to go back and try more!
