The real positive is that it is less expensive than other laundromats. It is typically swept and the garbage dumped from trash cans. The laundromat is usually not busy... I wonder why. The negatives are: Do the washers actually provide the temperature that the little buttons says? Maybe yes and maybe no. A number of dryers the hot setting does not even work. Good luck with figuring out which dryers those are. It is the grossest laundromat I've ever seen! It is very rundown, needs repair and paint. The pictures on the website make it look so nice. That is not true. There is now only 1 stool to sit on. The springs are gone, the legs of the stool actually poke up into the disinterred plastic seat cover. There is no way you would want to sit on that seat unless you're into pain. I guess they don't care about the condition of their business. They just collect the money. read more

I go up and use this laundromat when the machines in our building are out of order, and I went up today and while I was getting my quarters some old man doing his laundry cornered me by the machine and was harassing me while I was collecting my quarters so I left without doing my laundry. It was very creepy and we were the only two people in there. No way I was staying! There are some really sketchy people in there sometimes and since there is never any attendants on duty, it is easy to make someone feel unsafe. Note to the owners: You may want to get an attendant on site because I am sure I am not the first, and won't be the last, customer you lose due to not having an supervision on the premesis. read more

FIRST!! (Haha) A new and reopened, local laundry right on 30th that isn't packed. Not packed means I can get my laundry done quickly. Getting my laundry done quickly makes me a happier camper. One cool thing, this place is about 30 feet away from a #2 bus stop - which makes it super convenient. It's also pretty close to Bluefoot so if you wanted, you could grab a beer while your clothes get washed. I came here today for the first time after seeing the huge "now open" sign out front. They've got what looks like 3 sizes of new washers and two sizes of dryers. Something I like about this place compared to others, you don't pay more for warm or hot laundry washing. In the huge machine I used, everything was $4. At Get it Clean up the street, it starts at $4 for cold and goes up to $5 something for hot I believe. There's a trick dryer that I think gives you more time if you put in a second quarter. For most of them it seems like a quarter gets you the standard 7 minutes. But for one, I put in 2 quarters and got 17 minutes. Not sure if this is some kind of special trick machine or maybe I was just extra nice and it liked me. Who knows. I like this laundromat because it's close to our house and a few restaurants. We've been coming here for 5 years but the last couple years it's gone to crap. The change machine is broken or out of order frequently so I always make sure I bring quarters with me now. The washers and dryers are really beat up. Doors don't close properly so your clothes don't dry like they should and there are washers out of order every time we come. Today is the worst shape I've seen it the largest machines (5 loader ) for blankets and larger things were both out of order!!! And 4 of the regular ones. Just very frustrating when there's no parking and machines don't work. Not sure if we're going to keep coming if they aren't able to keep up with repairs. This is a pretty good place .. when it's open. Been coming her for a while but lately been pretty disappointed. It's advertised as open at 7am 365 days a year. Well they seriously need to update because lately when I have gone first thing in the AM it was not open. One time I waited just to see when they would actually open and some guy strolled in to unlock the doors at 7:45. Just went today at 8am and lovely surprise they were still NOT open. This is very inconvenient if like me you like to do laundry first thing in the morning. They get some stars for being decently clean and well priced but can't really take advantage of that if they are not open. They really need to service their machines more regularly. Half way through a wash cycle the machine just stopped and I ended up with a full load of clothes just sitting in dirty water. Had to wash the hole thing over again. I've been coming here every week for the past 5 years and today on March 30th from 1pm-3pm my boxing gloves were stolen from dryer number 12. I contacted the laundry at the number provided from Apple Maps, left a voice mail and the person texted saying it was the wrong number. There is no way to contact the owner, I know there is cameras there. I will be filling a police report and hopefully they can catch the person who did it. The gloves were very expensive. I will no longer do my laundry at this spot, there's always homeless people around coming in and no management. Pro: -The place is very clean -Machines are cleaned daily and in excellent shape - They have a machine to purchase detergent. - They have a change machine that takes my crappy folded bills. - There is a nice 'garage' type window for excellent ventilation. Cons: -Only 3 parking spots so odds are you will be hiking to your car with a load of laundry. Not at all convenient. - No places to sit- there is the giant window, but I don't want to sit in the sun, I am really pale. This is the only option. - There is no one on site if a machine eats your money or there is a problem. This is a nice and clean laundromat. The remodel of the inside of the building turned out beautiful, replete with beautiful decorative cement floors and lacquered wood counter tops and benches. The quarter machine changes $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills. Positives: *Clean, open, quiet and airy environment. *Central location across the street from bars and restaurants. *Newer machines that are clean and effective. Negatives and neutralities: *There are only two folding counters, thus limited space should there be multiple people using the facility. *There are only about 5 or 6 front loading $2 washers (the most inexpensive front loaders), so again, may cause an issue with multiple people trying to do wash. *It is true that the washing machines do not charge extra for warm or hot water nor for delicate vs normal wash cycles. They do however add 25 cents per upgrade of "soil level." i.e. more wash time, more money (makes sense though) *No dedicated parking, only street parking. Prices: Jumbo front loading (the largest): $6 Medium front loading: $4 Smaller medium front loading (approx. 2 loads): $2 Small top loading: $2 or less (I forgot to double check those). Dryers: 25 cents per 7 minutes (It took only about 3 quarters to get the clothes bone dry. 4 quarters maximum for towels). Soap/dryer sheet/bleach dispenser: $1 per item. Overall, I like the place and will return, but only in off times to ensure that it is slow. I feel like I got much more bang for my buck at this laundromat compared to others I've frequented in the past. I only spent $11.25 here on the same amount of laundry that normally costs me closer to $20 (or more) elsewhere. Enjoy! And be kind, courteous and sure to share when using this facility. Definitely one of the strangest laundry experiences I've had in *this* country, anyway. Completely un-staffed.. I didn't even see a number to call in case of emergency or anything. So consequentially, when I was doing my laundry while other people were there, I saw a lot of bewildered and unsure looks. There's just something reassuring about having someone onsite, even if they don't speak English, since the sign language for pointing to a flame-spewing dryer, "washer ate my change", or one of the other patrons waving a gun around, etc.. is pretty universal, in my opinion. While I don't suspect any drama would happen at this place, if it did it wouldn't be pretty. That, and the fact they "hide" the single-load washers behind the double-load ones are my only real gripes though. Clean, all the machines seemed in good repair, and the walk from around the corner wasn't bad. In all honestly, "Get it Clean" may have a cozier feel, but I'm fine with bare bones spartaness, so this place worked for me. read more

Ive coming here since they opened. I really like the small environment at this place. There are at least 3 good reasons to come here: 1. Good newer machines, frequent maintenance and cleanliness. 2. Safe place to leave clothes and cross the street to have a slice of pizza or cheese fries with a beer at Lefty's! Blue foot bar is also a block away or Pat's if you feel like doing some home goods shopping. You may find yourself wanting to come and wash here more often to hang out at surrounding places. 3. I was trying to decide whether #3 should be #1 for the following reason.......there are no screaming kids running around!!!! :) this place is peaceful and quiet. The slide open walls become huge windows to get the best breeze. Lots of place to sit down and bring your dog if you want. There are always two different guys that come here to sweep,clean up and make sure coin change machines have coins. They are always friendly and helpful. My only question is- when will there be a restroom and hand sink available?? Other than that... This is place is great! I came here on a Thursday around 1pm and there was only one other person here. The layout is very simple and easy to walk around in. They have washers from $2-$4-$6 bucks. Dryer is .25. What I like is the fact that while you wait, you can go have a drink or food near by. Parking is not the best, but that's with any place in North Park. The machines take quarters, so bring them with you. If you don't have change, that okay because they have a change machine. So yeah, check this place out. read more

This was a horrible laundry experiance and I know laundry isn't supposed to be fun but this place really ruined my Sunday! There is no parking! I came and there is no atm near by so I had to walk 3 blocks to the liqour store. Then got back started my laundry and ran out of detergent and their depending machines don't work. So I had to walk back to the liqoir store to buy detergent. Then when trying to dry the machines don't like the quarters and get stuck so they don't return them. F this place man! I like this laundromat a lot, it's cute and a nice place to chill and play on my phone while I wash clothes (yay wifi!). Plus I can grab a bite and a coffee from Influx while I wait. But parking sucks and I had to walk a block with my laundry today and the freaking washer didn't spin my clothes so they're so wet I had to wring everything by hand before putting it in the dryer. Great location to throw in your laundry and then grab some grub or a beer at one of the nearby establishments. I like the location of this laundry and it seems reasonably clean. My low rating is because they don't have hot water. I noticed this one time when I used the top loading machine to do a load in hot water. I stuck my hand in and the water was cold. I thought perhaps a temporary situation so the next time I went back I tried a different top loader and again - no hot water. I almost don't want to review this place because I'd rather it be a well-kept secret...but since I am trying to pay it forward and get as much advice as I can, then I have to fess up about this place. Smallish sized place, but who cares with all the other laundromats in the area, esp. on 30th. This place has newer, cleaner machines with a pretty well-kept site. I don't know where that person was that said a double-loader is $4 because it's really the triple-loaders that are $4. However, what I would consider a single-loader is $2, but a front-loading double (or what appears to be a double) is also $2 (which was 23 min on delicate/cold). The dryers are in the back and are a standard quarter for 7 min. I put my double-load wash into one of the dryers for 42 min on delicate and everything was bone dry except for the one towel I put in (which was slightly damp). I was able to fold everything on one of the two counters that are there (they a a bit shallow, but if you're averaged-size, you shouldn't have any problems folding your clothes). I like that it's in a half-residential, half-commercial area because it means there is low foot traffic past the place (which opens up with a garage door front for optimal ventilation) and I was able to leave my things in for a bit while I ate down the street. It seemed like others left their stuff for at most an hour. There isn't a private lot to park in, so crossing the moderately busy street is in order, but very do-able. Overall satisfied. Did my laundry (roughly three-loads) for less than $10, and that's including buying Tide for $1. read more

This place is terrible. They have the worst washers and the prices aren't that great. Not only did my washers not work (it wasn't dispensing any soap in the wash) and it was leaking water. To make matters worse they don't have any phone number or anything posted anywhere! I wanted a refund on my wash and to let them know a washer wasn't working and there is no way of contacting them! I honestly just wanted to take my clothes out and go to another laundromat but I couldn't even do that, I just had to watch my clothes spin in a washer with just water. This place sucks. read more

I got it back in the form of a money order mailed to me about a week later after leaving my business card with a note under the locked door in the back. Absolutely horrible. This is a coin operated laundramatt with an out-of-service coin dispenser. This was very inconvenient for more than half of the costumers. The place was overpriced ($4 for a regular wash) in comparison to better maintained laundramatts and folding tables were limited. To top it all off I got splinters in my butt from sitting on their wooden bench.
