We sat next to a table that had THREE umbrellas completely covering their table but my group couldn't even have 1. Then about 30 minutes later, I see them putting up additional umbrellas for the musicians. Either it's safe for umbrellas or it's not. It was the weirdest experience. When I spoke with the manager about it, he didn't really care.

Our dishes came out on top of each other, we should have asked them to course them. So this experience was definitely not worth it, which is a shame. I was left feeling like this is a place that does not have exceptional food but does have very high prices and maybe that's to vet clientele ;)

It's clear the owners put a lot of thought and creativity into making their cocktails the centerpiece of the experience. That said, the execution didn't live up to the concept. The menu appears to rotate regularly, and while the drinks were certainly unique, most of the cocktails we tried were hit or miss. At roughly $22 per drink, I expected more balance and refinement. One cocktail started with flavors reminiscent of an Old Fashioned, but after the initial sip, the combination of bitters and fruit syrups created an unpleasant cough syrup like finish. We tried a mocktail as well, and it was mostly ice and soda water, with what seemed like a collection of syrups doing most of the heavy lifting. The drinks were creative, but many of the flavor profiles felt disjointed rather than intentional. The biggest issue, however, was the bar service and sanitation practices. I watched a bartender place a cucumber garnish into a glass using his bare hands, touching the entire garnish in the process. He then continued to take credit cards, cash, and other items before stuffing ice into additional drinks with his bare hands. Whether or not this technically violates health code standards, it certainly wasn't appetizing to watch and left a poor impression. Parking is another challenge. There is no dedicated parking, and unless you get lucky, expect to park several blocks away and walk. Overall, the atmosphere is a lot of fun and the cocktail menu is ambitious, but the drinks didn't justify the price point, and the sanitation concerns were hard to overlook. I wouldn't rush back, especially given the cost and parking difficulties.

I went here for oc restaurant week and was glad I did. The restaurant is very small and crowded. There is no parking, just street parking so it kind of sucked. Even w/ reservations, our party had to wait. However, while we waited, we were given a table outside in case we wanted drinks and appetizers. The Moscow mule was reviewed as a favorite. It was served in a cool tin cup but unless you like ginger and lemonade, don't get it b/c that is exactly what it tastes like. I had some floral drink. I don't recall the name, but it wasn't bad. It was a little sweet for my taste though. There was a pre-fixed menu for oc restaurant week. Appetizers: mac and cheese w/ bits of duck was surprisingly good. The cheese was real cheese so it was light and the duck bites definitely added a lot of flavor; the brussel sprouts were still bitter even w/ the grilled onions and the bacon; bruschetta - balsamic vinegar reduction was very well done along w/ the tomatoes. I would recommend either the bruschetta or the mac and cheese. Main course: rib eye w/ chimichurri sauce and hash brown potatoes were good; chimichurri sauce was tangy and added a nice kick to the meat; unfortunately, the rib eye itself was nothing special; the lamb was great; the only complaint is that you can really taste the mustard and I'm not a fan of Dijon mustard. Dessert: pbj sandwich - deep fried but surprisingly not fatty or too oily; the creme brule was good - both the lemon flavor, light and refreshing, and the Irish creme, light and does taste like Irish creme, were excellent. Drinks: caipora was light and tasted a little bit like a margarita; the Pim's cup was refreshing and light; i actually really liked the szarec which has whiskey and absinthe. It was a very smooth drink, but definitely had the old cigar club feel. The servers were very attentive and accommodating. The food was ok but I would definitely come back for the drinks and try some more of food. read more

Came here for my anniversary and it started off great. Found parking quickly. We made reservations and got seated early, the hostess even wished us a happy anni. The food was amazing! Drinks awesome! The only reason I gave 3 stars and not 5 was because of the service. We sat in a dark, cold, and uncovered table in the corner for 30 minutes waiting for our waitress to present the check. 2 other employees saw us but no one notified her. It wasn't until I decided to get up and ask that she rushed out and just grab my fiancé's card without even giving us a check. The excuse was "it got busy inside." I understand but why didn't the other 2 employees who saw us help her or say something to her about the last customers outside. Lack of communication and teamwork amongst the staff is a huge turn off. Still recommend coming here for delicious food! Ordered: Filet mignon chili fries, brussel sprouts, short rib grilled cheese, and the cheeseburger with an egg. read more

They had a really good beer for $4 too--old chub. Yes, I made the BF order it just because of the name! he is a great sport, no? "I'd like the old chub, please"..."I bet you would." lol. So wrong on so many levels. Yep, it tasted great ans oh how I love good taste that makes me laugh. We tried the fried pickles. There is always something odd and magical about those things. They were good and had a nice dip to them. 3 spears for $4. Will go back to try other things off the HH menu. They had calamari, ribs, tenders, fries--maybe another offering. Went there last Thursday night and I was totally dissatisfied. Got there at 8pm, little to no wait. Sat down and after 15 minutes I had to ask if we had a waiter that could serve up some water. I ordered the 14oz Kansas City Strip Steak. If this was 14 oz they need a new scale because it didn't look like 10 oz. If it was, the bone was 11 of the 14 oz. It was gone in less than four bites, tasty though. I ordered the stuffed potatoe and it was a joke. One half of a real small mini spud, 2 bites max. No salad, it was another 6 bucks and it was lousy. They put a small onion on the plate dipped in some kind of sauce, looked like a cat turd, smelled like that too. All this for $55.00????????????????? I don't think I'm ever going back, at least not to eat, the setting is nice though. read more

Great service, delicious food, and awesome drinks! Come for happy hour on Sunday and enjoy some delicious appetizers and drinks for only $5. I came here on a whim with my wife and our experience was perfect! We were seated in less than 5 minutes (at 7:15pm) and had drinks and apps ordered soon after that. The drinks took a bit, but only because they were making fresh lemon juice. For the apps we had the shishito peppers, Brussels sprouts, and the Mac and cheese. All 3 were delicious! We ordered the salmon and short rib entrees and both were rich, savory, and flavorful. The whole time we were there the wait staff was very attentive and provided great service. I walked into a quite bar, and sat down. The happy hour was on, so I ordered some fried chicken fingers and grilled cheese. The chicken was amazing, and the grilled cheese a little to gourmet for my taste but good. The level of gourmet/retro in this place is crazy. The bar was filled with all different and unique types of liqueur, for cocktails, and mixed drinks. Then I saw something about a luge? They have a bone marrow dish where they serve alcohol that you put into the bone to drink! Creepy but sound very interesting. Ok, We are new to Seal Beach, so excuse our ignorance. Our first visit to 320 Main was instigated by a local couple deeply into foodie stuff! Anyway the vibe here rocks, I work 6 days a week and want to enjoy every aspect of my meal, 320 does that. The waitress is a wealth of knowledge and when my wife drilled her for info on the menu she was real, and sincere. I ordered the simple, but way effective 320 burger, not over cooked like some places but cooked perfect. My wife ordered salmon she's a perfectionist, it was perfectly done. This place is soo overrated and overpriced! Had lunch today with friends because we were told by our family how good this place is.... What a total waste of time and disappointment! The server had bad attitude and fake smile... I believe the owner's wife was there... A short dark hair woman with mean look in her 40's ...never ask us if we needed anything or if we like the food! The steak was undercook! we ordered medium, but we received a medium rare bloody chunk of meat! It was horrible! The drink was decent but way over iced and small! After 3 sips it was gone! This place is great! Drinks and food are so unique and creative! Everything I have had has been really good. The moscow mule served in a copper mug is awesome1 My wife tried some of their happy hour drinks served in old school martinin glasses and were all fantastic. Fried pickles, sunchokes, and buffalo bleu tenders all are great appetizer choices. The fried chicken is a delicious entree choice. I really like this place. I was impresses with the decor and how warm and charming it is. The main reason I tried this place was because of the bone marrow. I absolutely loved it. We had a great waitress (I cant remember her name :(.... but my 1st experience here was great. Unfortunately the next time i visited, they had removed the bone marrow from the menu. Thats why i gave this 4 stars. Im hoping they will bring it back. But i did order the meatballs, delicious and the duck fries. The duck fries are beyond everything else. The best ever. Their burger was nearly good enough to go on my favorites list, except for the fact they left the paper wrap used to separate the burgers, on my burger. Disappointing to say the least. Their "roasted" chicken wasn't roasted by any part of its definition. However their bacon wedge was tasteful. Can't say more about their El Santo other than it was tasty, and is only $5 during happy hour. Wouldn't go out of my way to get here, but definitely worth the stop if you are in the area. read more

The service was absolutely outstanding. I have been to numerous nice restaurants, but I have to say, this restaurant definitely left an impression on my dining experience. I only made the reservation 24 hours before, but they had a perfect little table for us. Great romantic low-lit ambiance. Impressive menu. One thing- It's sort of inconvenient to get out of the table if you're seated at one of the couch tables. Spacious for the most part, but you have to pull the table out in order to get out. I have just been informed that the time of my terrible dinning experience was due to the transition of ownership. I rarely have a bad dinning experience and am always nice to restaurant staff, as you can see from my reviews this is the only time I have give out one star. This really was the only time I have ever been treated so badly at a restaurant (Denny's doesn't count). I will go back to 320 and give them another shot. We went to 320 Main for the Friday night prime rib special. We always heard that it was good but I had no idea it would be THAT good. It was fantastic. We usually go to Lawry's 5 Crowns for prime rib, but I think we found a new go to. The restaurant itself had a friendly casual vibe and our waitress (Natalie) was wonderful. I rarely get a prime rib cut that I can't devour but I actually had to take some home. Great value at $52. read more

I consider that to be a deficiency and when this establishment is busy one men's washroom may not be adequate. If I was to assign a letter grade as is done in school, this establishment would get an A-.

I had the chicken pot pie, served with a side of peas. It was good but nothing special. THE SERVICE: SLOW, even though It was not a busy night. Our server was a nice young man but wore way too much, awful smelling cologne. Not once were we asked about more drinks, nor were our waters refilled! When he finally came around with our check (too expensive for what we had!!!), he asked if we'd like dessert and I asked for f there's anything they have for the.my husband since it was his birthday. He said no. On our way out, I mentioned my disappointment to the same girls and another server overheard and said that is not true and told us to go next door for an ice cream on them!
