    The crispiest!
    Wendi K.

I love this Alaskan chain. They always have good vibes and great food. They let us chill here for a few hours before our flight. The chicken tenders ($13.99) were literally some of the crispiest tenders I've ever had. Lots of seating and clean too. Quick, attentive, and efficient service.

This was a fine little airport restaurant/bar; I had a bit of time to clean, so decided to get a bite to eat and some local cider. I truly just got the pretzel and cheese and it was fine...I was hoping for more of a traditional beer cheese, since this is a brewery, but it was fine and hit the spot. Service was attentive, which I always appreciate in an airport setting - let people enjoy their meal and catch that flight!

Listen, if you're anywhere near 49th Brewing Company and you don't stop in, you're basically committing a personal crime against your own taste buds. First off, Felicia deserves a medal, a trophy, and maybe her own holiday. I don't know what kind of customer service vitamins she takes, but she was out here delivering five-star energy like she's on a mission from the hospitality gods. Now let's talk food, because I was not ready. The Elk Burger? Off. The. Hook. I'm talking "call your mom and apologize for every bad burger you've ever eaten" levels of good. The wings? On point like they went to college, graduated early, and got a job before their friends. Perfectly cooked, sauced just right, and absolutely capable of converting wing-skeptics into believers. And if you're grabbing a beer don't play games get the Frequent Fire. That thing goes down smoother than a toddler sliding down a staircase of butter. It's flavorful, it's bold, and after two sips you'll be questioning why every other beer in your life has disappointed you. On top of all that, it's Thanksgiving, everything in town is closed, and these legends are staying open later. That alone makes them heroes. The place is clean, the vibe is inviting, the service is top-tier, and honestly... it felt like a blessing from the universe. If you need good food, good beer, and a good laugh in a place that treats you right, 49th Brewing Company is the move.

Food was good especially for what is to be expected at an airport restaurant. Everything came pretty quickly.

Solid option for a quick meal before catching a flight! Came by for dinner and ate at the bar to watch Monday night football. Bartender was friendly and attentive. Ordered the halibut and chips and it was delicious. The location in town (by the Hilton) is better but for airport food this is an excellent option!

What more can you say. Digesting an epic Alaskan trip while sitting in the Ted Stevens International Airport drinking some 49th state beers. Service and ambience is fantastic in this bustling environment. Alaska is the final frontier.

Hello Travelers, If you happen to be flying out of Anchorage airport, this restaurant is a good option to get a drink and some food. The food quality is okay nothing to be impressed by. Prices are a bit high compared to the quality. Service fine not very friendly on that particular time. Everyone can have a bad day. Family friendly ambiance. Check it out and safe travels.

    Korean chicken sandwich

We sat down and waited about 10min until a waitress came by. Its pretty slow, we got in around 715pm or so from Kodiak. The table tops are very high from sitting. I had to raise my arms up to eat my chicken sandwich. My husband id 6'1" and he even says its freakishly high. Weird design choice. The korean chicken sandwich was underwhelming. The chicken patty seemed very freezer burnt and the crispness is gone. The sauce didnt seem korean at all. The fries were good up until I started chewing on dirt fries. At first I thought it was from the fry sauce but it wasn't. The fry I ate literally tasted like dirt. After a couple more fries that didnt taste like dirt, I came across another one, spit it out and had to stop eating altogether. The 49th state burger was good. Overcooked but the patty was beefy. The horseradish pickles were thick and juicy. Good flavor. Didn't get to try beer this time around.

This place serves bar food and beer. They also have a gift shop. They serve reindeer hotdogs, elk smash burgers, halibut fish and chips. Service is quick, nice ambience . Save your time and forgo the Norton Seafood restaurant in the terminal and come here instead.

I stopped at 49th State Brewing - Airport at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport for a quick bite before my flight. Service was great -- my server, Mina, was friendly and attentive, which I really appreciated, especially in a busy airport setting. I ordered the Frequent Flyer BLT ($16.99) and a Diet Coke ($4.29). The sandwich itself was decent but a bit disappointing -- it really lacked enough bacon to live up to the BLT name. The flavors were fine, but for nearly $17, I expected a little more substance. Prices are definitely on the higher side, though that's typical for airport dining. After a 4% service charge and a tip, my total came to about $26. Overall, good service and a nice atmosphere, but the food didn't quite deliver for the price.

    Alaska 8 star lager.
    Dave M.

I ended up at the airport 9 hours before my flight. Had a brat with stone ground mustard and sauerkraut. Amazing! Caroline was there all alone, so she was a bit slow on service. I had to get up and ask for another lager. But she was sweet as can be. I ate at the elevated counter because there were outlets all along the top and I needed to organize my receipts from the unplanned 10 day adventure. This trip was only supposed to be one day.

It is open seating, you check in at the host stand and they'll give you a menu and you just find a place to sit. All in all it was a wonderful time and the food was great. The servers seemed a little new, but the service was good and friendly. They carry Frontier brand sodas which we found to be excellent for their flavor. We got root beer and ripe raspberry soda. I ordered the Chili AK Salmon Bowl which our server confirmed is wild salmon. My wife ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich with fries. Both meals were really good. I especially liked the sauce on the salmon bowl so much so that I asked for a little more only to be charged for the extra sauce. I also noticed they include a service charge on the bill (note that this was not gratuity). They told us it was to help them get seasonal labor and to cover overhead. Maybe this is an Alaska thing, but with menu prices as high as these, why would you need to add a service charge? Pricing and nickel & diming aside, I would recommend this place.

In fact Alaska in general thus far I have enjoyed the breweries there considerably. The beer I had from this brewery was the Panty Peeler which is a Belgian Tripel. A good beer for sure and is a good pairing with fish and chips or a burger. Flavor highlights with this beer are sweet, strong and fruity but all in a well balanced way. The beer goes down smooth and is light bodied. A good beer to start for me with this brewery. I'd loved to try more of their beer options. It features a blend of barstool window seats, barstool bar seats, high-top tables, and standard-height tables. We went for a very late lunch, which made the quick food delivery and yet under-attentive service a little perplexing. Having spent last summer in London, the attraction at TCT for us was comparing and contrasting Alaska Halibut Fish & Chips with the British fare. I wanted to like the Tent City offering; I really did not. For the price ($28/ea), we got three modest pieces of fish and the equivalent of two servings of chips. Both the fish and the chips were mushy (undercooked), with a heavy batter finish in contrast with the light and crisp British offering. The accompanying tarter sauce was an odd raspberry-and-blackberry concoction that my family and I called a pickle aftertaste. The presentation, for the price and the atmosphere, was a confusing combination of a metal basket lined with wax paper (like a 1950's drive-through), plastic water and soda glasses (like a college cafeteria), and real silverware. Other reviews have high praise for TCT so, on our next visit to Alaska, it will be good to give them another try. The bones of this establishment are in place for a really special experience, but, today, for me, it was just "ok."

Two of us ordered the burger and it was honestly excellent--made with a blend of ribeye and tenderloin, and you could taste the difference. Really well constructed and flavorful.
