The manager on duty, Brooke, was wonderful as well and even extended well wishes on our celebration. All in all, their staff did a great job. You can also tell that the other tables got similar service as well. We had all intentions on coming back and checking out their brunch, which was highly recommended, but ended up doing something else the following day. This is a solid option for date night dining. Very intimate setting downtown. Parking is ridiculous to try and get close by, especially on a Friday night, but theres a parking deck under a mile away from the front door. This is another Asheville spot we'll have in the rotation. Very impressed and can't wait to try other options there in the future.

I recently met my friend here for lunch. She only had an hour break from work to go out to lunch, so we thought that we would try this restaurant to just get some fast, hole in the wall type food. The food was average for what kind of food they serve and the staff is friendly enough, but I give this restaurant one star because of how rude the owner was to us. He was cooking on the flat grill and keeping an eye on things in the front at the same time. Right after my friend got there @ 10 minutes after I did, we ordered and had our food in about 10 minutes. So at this point in time we had been there @ 25-30 minutes. We both finished our food, I was still picking at my fries and we were visiting a little. She was going to have to leave and go back to work in a few minutes so we were finishing up our conversation and planning to go. The next thing that I know, the owner is yelling across the restaurnant to his bus girl to take our glasses and tell us we had to leave. I could not even believe what I was hearing, It was extremely embarrassing and uncalled for. He was busy, but there was no one waiting for a table and there was even one table open. He wanted us to get out so he could serve anyone that might come in. We were paying customers too, but he was no longer concerned about that since we had already finished and were obligated to pay him. We had only been there approximatey 1 hour at this time and had not even been finished with our food for more than 10 minutes, I own 2 restaurants in the area and if one of my staff members EVER treated a customer this way, they would be fired. I will NEVER be back to this restaurant and if he keeps this up, he will eventually put himself out of business. The food is not good enough to put up with treatment such as this. read more
