Everything was excellent, hot, and home cooked. The salad was delicious and the fries as well. My husband devoured his chicken fried chicken in about five minutes. We will be back whenever we are in the area

Food is delicious and it is very diner-y!! The service is good and the pricing is affordable. Feels very southern-retro-diner and the seating is plenty spacious.

If you want great home cooking at affordable prices, look no farther. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with gravy. The two steak pieces were hot, crispy and tender...no gristle! The gravy was smooth and delicious. The burger my wife had was cooked perfectly and very juicy. Service was prompt, place was clean and the clientele would appear to be mostly locals that know where the good food is at. Nothing special from the outside, but the food is great.

Four and 1/2 Stars. They changed their hours, (see pic) and their menu has been updated too. The place itself is very clean, (including the bathrooms), modern, bright and comfy with booths, tables and counter. Went for a late lunch, having my "Test-o-new-place-meal" aka Bacon Double Cheese burger, with onion rings. Scored a 5 on the yummyometer, (out of 5). It was juicy, it was full of burgery goodness cooked to perfection. My Wife had the pork chops with Au-gratin potatoes and coleslaw. The chops were well cooked tender and savory. I tried the potatoes, loved em. The slaw was really good too. Have been back several times now and tried all kinds of stuff. Their Chicken Fried Chicken is absolutely awesomely crunchy tender crispy. The Chicken Parmesan, was not very good. The chicken itself was great but that sauce, that sauce absolutely ruined it for me. Meat sauce on chicken parm just does not go. (first thing that was just ok). My wife had the barbecue and said it was awesome, (She used to work at a barbecue place in Miami). I did steal a bit when she wasn't looking and it was really really good. Tried breakfast here too. Had a Greek Omelette and my Wife had this thing that I can't remember the name of, eggs, french toast and home fries. We both enjoyed it a lot. So get going and try it, you'll enjoy. Good food, good diner vibe, great prices. Ample parking too!

There is street parking nearby, and this place is always hopping. This place makes me think of a southerner's take on a French bakery. Absolutely gorgeous on the inside with decadent sweets to choose from, while also featuring classics like a Swiss roll or a cream puff. They also offer breakfast/brunch/lunch, as well as made to order cakes. (Their coconut cake is award-winning). We came in recently and got a BLT, chicken salad on croissant (with watermelon salad), quiche, cream puff, lemon Swiss roll, and lattes. The sandwiches were all delicious and this was my first time trying watermelon salad - fresh and perfect to accompany the sandwiches. Their quiches are large and filling - perfect on their own for breakfast. For lattes, we got a vanilla latte, and then their July 4th special, which had strawberry and white chocolate in it - the July 4th specialty latte was decadent - if you like sweet, you should give it a try. All in all, I think we paid $50ish for our meal. This spot is a must if you're in the area!

For a light lunch I ordered a side of chicken salad (was light and not dripping in mayo) so fresh; I also ordered a croissant warmed up and a delicious chocolate truffle for dessert. I wished it took more pics to share but the shop is well kept, quaint and service was quick, efficient and served with smile. Looking forward to visiting again when in town!

It is important to align your expectations: this is still a buffet, so you shouldn't expect every dish to have the refinement of a carefully composed plate at a fine-dining restaurant. However, this certainly isn't Golden Corral, either! The quality of the food, preparation, setting, and service are all noticeably a step above the typical buffet experience. Everything we tried from the seafood spread was good, and there wasn't a single item we actively disliked. At the same time, nothing was especially memorable--other than how much my wife loved having unlimited access to the shrimp cocktail! The dessert area was definitely one of the highlights. My only regret was filling up on so many crab legs and other seafood that I didn't have enough room to fully embrace everything the dessert bar had to offer. Poor planning on my part! Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal in a beautiful setting. We would happily return, especially to try the Saturday night prime-rib buffet. To those about to nosh, enjoy the view, have a wonderful time, and know that we salute you!
