Located on one side of an older shopping center, the neon sign on the front of the restaurant is pretty easy to find. The parking lot is smaller but there are still a lot of parking spots available. There are several spaces adjacent to building, including a handicapped space right next to the entrance. Other spaces are across a traffic lane. There is another handicapped in the corner of the lot not too far from the door but be aware the pavement in that area is broken and walking is difficult. There is also no sidewalk from this space to the door and the parking bumpers are in the way. If you do use this space, walk into the parking lot to get to the door. We were greeted as we walked in and taken to a booth. Seating is a mix of tables and booths, with a few seats along the counter as well. We were there a bit after the lunch rush so they were only about half full. Our server took our drink order right away and then gave us a bit of time to review the menu. She returned with our drinks and we placed our order. The food took about 10 minutes to be brought to the table. The Cowboy burger was a good sized patty cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and juicy. The bbq sauce was enough to taste but not so much it dripped as soon as you tried to take a bite. The bun was fresh and held up without breaking apart. The fries were cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and they did not skimp of the quantity. The Blue Ridge burger was outstanding. There were plenty of mushrooms and enough cheese to get some in every bite. The greens and tomato were fresh and added great flavor to the sandwich. The bun itself was very flavorful and certainly added to the overall burger experience. Fries also accompanied this burger and were just as good, being crispy on the outside and soft inside. Ca's is a great diner experience with wonderful service and great burgers. This is a must stop whenever in the area. read more

Very curious about all the good reviews on how this place is "amazing"??. It was downright terrible. First of all way way overpriced, poor quality food, so glad the portions were so small. Biscuit had no taste. $3.00 sausage was hard, dry, tiny, overcooked. Not sure if the thick glue like gravy was white or brown cause it was a dark beige in color. Worse biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Asked for hash browns well done and got about 5 bites of greasy tasteless yuck that weren't well done at all for $3.00. Nothing tasted fresh. The only good thing was the coffee. They should think about re doing all the torn seating booths. I paid over $13.00 for this disappointing experience, would think twice about giving them your business! read more

Ridiculous is all I can say. $3.25 for a kids sprite. $.75 cents for ranch with chicken when it's already $13.50 for a plate. Service sucks too, the waitresses are rude drinks don't get refilled unless you flag someone down, it just needs work. I will say it was clean and they did continue to clean while we were there. Nothing to write home about. Had breakfast but nothing inspired or special. Typical basic diner ambiance, loud and lively. My biggest complaint was the cook yelling at the waitstaff when customers tried to order lunch during breakfast hours. He was pretty loud and abusive to the ladies. Unfortunately when I last ate there, the food was pretty bad. Everything felt like it came from and can or out of a box. No heart at all in the food. Long are the days that I wished we still had Poppy's. My brother ate there recently and let me know it hasn't changed. Still canned or boxed food and lacking any of the homemade feel. read more

I had lunch here a couple of weeks ago. It was on my list of places to go after surfing yelp. I had the filly cheese steak with fries. It was a good meal. The sandwich was generous and hot. If you want great home cooking at affordable prices, look no farther. I had the Chicken Fried Steak with gravy. The two steak pieces were hot, crispy and tender...no gristle! The gravy was smooth and delicious. The burger my wife had was cooked perfectly and very juicy. Four and 1/2 Stars. They changed their hours, (see pic) and their menu has been updated too. The place itself is very clean, (including the bathrooms), modern, bright and comfy with booths, tables and counter. Went for a late lunch, having my "Test-o-new-place-meal" aka Bacon Double Cheese burger, with onion rings. Scored a 5 on the yummyometer, (out of 5). It was juicy, it was full of burgery goodness cooked to perfection. My Wife had the pork chops with Au-gratin potatoes and coleslaw. The chops were well cooked tender and savory. I tried the potatoes, loved em. The slaw was really good too. Have been back several times now and tried all kinds of stuff. Their Chicken Fried Chicken is absolutely awesomely crunchy tender crispy. The Chicken Parmesan, was not very good. The chicken itself was great but that sauce, that sauce absolutely ruined it for me. Meat sauce on chicken parm just does not go. (first thing that was just ok). My wife had the barbecue and said it was awesome, (She used to work at a barbecue place in Miami). I did steal a bit when she wasn't looking and it was really really good. Tried breakfast here too. Had a Greek Omelette and my Wife had this thing that I can't remember the name of, eggs, french toast and home fries. We both enjoyed it a lot. So get going and try it, you'll enjoy. Classic old time diner with friendly & efficient service and fair prices! We enjoyed a big country breakfast this morning! Delicious eggs with crispy bacon, tasty biscuits and gravy and some of the best pancakes we've had in a long time. The only suggestion we have is to have the butter sitting out on the tables so it will be spreadable. Its frustrating to have a lump of hard cold butter that won't melt onto your pancake. This little out of way diner situated in a small strip mall is fantastic. During this covid pandemic they are specially mindful of social distancing. You can call your order in and they promptly prepare it. We ordered CAs special of Busquet's and gravy with eggs hash browns and sausage patties. The sausage gravy was not your usual white variety it was mire like brown gravy mixed with white gravy and it was fantastic. The eggs were perfect. The Greek home fries where delicious made with tomatoes, onions, feta and Greek seasoning. I highly recommend this eatery for breakfast brunch or lunch. read more

Our chicken was a little on the chewy side. The scalloped potatoes were the only side we cared for. The star of the meal was our biscuit and cornbread. Love this place!! I went to visit friends in Weaverville for the weekend, and we went for breakfast on Saturday morning. First off, the coffee was fantastic. I had a BLT with a fried egg on top, and the Greek home fries - big, chunky potatoes with tomatoes and feta cheese. The service was great, it was clean, and they had really cool art in the bathroom.
