Service is lovely and this is such a great cause to support, you come here just as much for the people as you do for the food. Prices are great, the $5 single pizza, $6 calzone or $10 mini deep dish were all great meals and filling for one person, I would order all 3 again. The deep dish was my personal favorite, loved the sauce, very generous with the cheese, great flavors. Each slice is so thick and loaded they are noticeably heavy to pick up compared to a traditional slice. They heated up the pumpkin hand pie up for me and it was a delicious crispy pumpkin pie that melted in your mouth, probably the best pumpkin pie I've had since the PSL season began. Overall a friendly, tasty place to pickup pizza and/or pies and cookies! Things to know: 1) There's a little ditch/lower ground when you walk in. I almost tripped on my way in and out, so be careful. 2) Parking is limited. There's not much street parking. We had just a regular large pizza - didn't have time to wait for deep dish this time. The pizza was excellent. Chose our own veggie toppings. Accompanied by a built it yourself salad with all the fixings that I love and this was a seriously good meal. Also got a triple berry hand pie that I have yet to try and chocolate peanut butter chip cookies - really good as well. I'd like to try the deep dish and some of the other cookies - but we were there at the end of the day and those were the only cookies they had left. I also read about chocolate pecan pie and the thought makes my stomach yell - "GET IN ME." I'm not sure who was saying this place isn't cheap - I guess in comparison with gross pizza like Little Caesars or something...but it was only $14 for a large pizza! Finally got to try this place for its deep dish pizza. Not planning to go to Chicago anytime soon, but I really wanted to try deep dish before I die. Ordered the fully loaded medium, which was more than enough for 2 people. I REALLY loved it. It had the perfect proportions of cheese, meat, crust, sauce, and everything else in between.
