Came here after a camping trip with six other people. We were all seated quickly and got our food quickly. Our server Alex was awesome! She always made sure our waters were filled and didn't mind splitting the check five ways (sorry!)! Oh, and most importantly, I am a freak for spicy foods and am usually disappointed at most restaurants "most spicy" dishes. When you enter, the staff delivers you in a timely manner to your seat. The restaurant is well decorated with pictures, paintings, and achievements. The staff tries to get your order in a quick time and are very respectful. The food is delicious and has a taste that makes you wanna come back. Took a friend here for her first time as we highly recommended their burgers and onions rings. But we ended up doing an about face when we were received by the shockingly rude person seating us. So we took our party next door to Fuzzy's. Not as satisfying, but at least the staff were friendly and didn't treat their patrons like sh*t. So my hair salon was nearby, and thought, why not? And wow, was I glad we did. First, the menu. Our waiter explained the menu, salads, apps on front, burgers on back, and if we couldn't decide, there was the "A-hole" burger.. Right there - right then, I was a fan. I really appreciated our waiter & staff's honesty, as I was trying a gin drink, and when I asked about the kumbacha/gin drink, our waiter had never tried it, and asked another waiter and also never tried, it, so I easily passed. The gin/grapefruit/IPA beverage was fantastic.. And let me say, I don't do beer. I ordered the mushroom burger, and I think it had a mushroom or two, but it was cooked well, and was more of a swiss cheese burger, but it was still good. If I was craving a mushroom burger, I wouldn't order it here. My husband had the green chile burger, and the burger was super good, but he's been used to New Mexico chiles. He wouldn't order that same burger either, but there were lots of others that caught our attention. Now the sides - OMG. We did the onion rings/fries combo and I must say, these were the best onion rings we ever had. You bite the onion ring, and it actually 'bit off', not pulled the entire onion ring. The batter/crust was great, stayed crunchy even after they were on the table during our meal. Fries were great, stayed hot and weren't soft. But what was stellar, and we cannot wait to have these, are the crunchy brussels sprouts - quite possible the best ones we've ever had. We were trying to figure the 'sauce', as it was vinegary and umami - and when we asked about it, it was balsamic.. Absolutely will have these over and over. read more

Great food, great service, gluten-free options! I had the gluten-free bun with the mighty mushroom burger. Both were excellent, we also had happy hour nachos which were excellent and a good deal. Happy hour is Monday through Friday 3:00 - 5:30 PM. $3 for a medium sized nachos with all the Fixin's was a good deal. They also have drink specials for happy hour. Burgers run around $10-$14 w/o fries. So they are pretty pricey, but typical nowadays for a gourmet burger. They have covered outdoor seating and uncovered outdoor seating. I've never had worse service. No bacon on the burger, not a single refill from our actual waitress, we didn't even have the opportunity to tell her our burger was wrong since she never approached us. I had to hunt our waitress down just to pay the tab. It's the first time I've ever NOT left a tip. I can honestly say their food truck has better service than their restaurant and that's pretty pathetic. $25 for a burger, small fry, and a drink and they couldn't get that right or even talk to their patrons. Our waitress didn't ask a single time if our food was okay. We had to flag her down and ask if we could put in an order. Ridiculous. I actually think I had a good review for their food truck but this has ruined my idea of this place. read more

My family ordered online takeout today (still quarantining until our 2nd shot!), and our order was missing several items. We ordered a soup that wasn't there, ginger on my burger that again, just wasn't there, and two special sauces (orange ginger and sweet Asian chili) that never appeared on my 5280 burger, or anywhere on the side. The meal was still decent, but they subtracted about $10 of items from what we ordered. And yeah, my burger was pretty dry without any sauce whatsoever, so I had to grab whatever condiments were available in the fridge. I'm not normally one to leave negative reviews. However, rather than begging for my 10 bucks back, here I am to let you know: yes, the bag is sealed for your protection, but at this particular location, I strongly suggest opening it up and checking it before you leave to make sure it has all the items you ordered. Ordering extra ingredients and sauces on the side is also probably a good idea for the same reason. read more

Every time I try to order online it never works, whether it won't process the order or it just won't bring up anything. It's frustrating because often times their discounted codes only work if ordered on their website. Take out just always seems to be a pain. I have been to this location multiple times. The thing that makes this restaurant stand out for me and get a full five stars is the management. Every visit a manager has come by and actually thanked us for our patronage. They have taken it upon themselves to explain any issues before they become troublesome I.e. kitchen backed up, long wait, or just to check in. The food is always good and I love the can't decide - my personal go to. The fact that I can get a burger cooked the way I want it is also appreciated. I love the concept but the execution just failed. Our server Joe was nice and friendly. We sat outside away from most people. Our table was wobbly but they fixed it (somewhat). I ordered the guac burger sub chicken breast and my fiance got the green chili burger and they switched them when they came out--i had a burger and we didn't realize til a few min after they left he had the chicken. Chicken sandwich was almost impossible to cut through, lobster roll was fishy tasting and mushy, truffle fries were under seasoned with no truffle to be detected. I had a burger craving and saw that 5280 used local beef and they had great reviews so we decided to check it out! We arrived on a Thursday around 6pm and were immediately seated. Our server brought us waters and explained to us a few of the local favorites. The waiter went to get our drinks and what I assume was an owner or some kind of manager came to check on us and tell us a little more about the menu and the sauces. We were curious about any spicy sauces available and he actually brought us out a small order of fries and a few sauces for us to try. I ordered the mushroom burger and it was fantastic. My boyfriend ordered the avacado burger and it looked great. Overall the food was great and the service was above and beyond! If anyone has a hankering for a good local burger with a side of bomb ass service I'd definitely check out 5280! read more

Oh good lord I'm hooked... These guys make awesome burgers that you will not forget for a long time. PS, Howdy y'all. The place. Very clean and well kept. Several doors to get in and use of space is pretty good. I went on a Friday night - 7:00 ish and only had to wait about 20 min. Which, was killing me because their in house ice cream place smelled amazing. Service : We had a duo of damsels that did an amazing job. And, no, they weren't in distress. Lol. Seriously though, service was hopping, I watched and there wasn't anyone in the place that looked like they weren't being checked on regularly. Food: Three kids of ground meat - cooked perfectly, home made buns from their bakery in Denver, the fries were cut by them and even the ranch dressing for my fries was made in house - it is so thick you can stand a spoon in it. AND AWESOME! I had the As@hole burger - meaning a make your own one. I had a grilled chili pepper, jalapeño cream cheese, pepper-jack cheese, bacon and an egg on top. If I could give this place a 10 out of 5, I would. Drinks are killer. Apps are solid. And the burgers are bombbbbb. Our server was Noah, and he was so great! It was busy when we were here, but he was quick to check on us and take out orders. He was also super helpful with the menu and gave us his suggestions on food to order. We got the egg rolls (which were super hot, crunch, and all together wonderful) as an app, and then I got the 5280 prime burger, and my husband got the perfect burger. Both burgers were cooked to perfection. They were hot. So freakin' good. We also got the truffle fries and they were SUPER addictive. We could Not stop eating them. We also had the chance to meet EJ, and he really helped make our first experience here AMAZING. He was super kind, and my little 7 months old daughter really enjoyed him coming to our table and chatting with him. All together, all the staff here are super kind and accommodating. I took a client here yesterday. Although there is nothing wrong with our meal, there was nothing exciting about it either. We both had fancy burgers and they were cooked to the level that we wanted. She had the fries and she said they were good. I had the onion rings, and I wasn't terribly impressed..... but that's my opinion. I am more of a traditional onion ring sand and these were that flaky dough type. Conversely, I had a cup of the chicken and dumpling soup as an appetizer, and it was quite good. ju The only other issue that I had with this meal was that the burger was served in a wire basket lined with parchment paper, again, a personal preference thing but I prefer a plate. We almost didn't eat here! We came in on a Saturday night and they were super busy. Our toddler hates high chairs and boosters so we asked if there was a booth available. The hostess quickly said no. With that, we exited the building. Lucky for us the owner was outside and heard what happened and the situation was quickly remedied. 10 minutes later we were seated in a booth. Service is definitely key here. Throughout our meal several people checked on us, our drinks were refilled before even asked, all our food came out quickly and correct. We ordered the green chili fries and it is massive. Not a good idea if it's only 2 people! T ordered the 5280 and I ordered the Prime. I've dined here about 8 times. Only once did they have an "off night" where things weren't perfect. 7/8 is pretty darn good if you ask me. The other 7 times were super great apps, burgers, sides, drinks, beer, ice creams. Each time I order something different & have loved 7/8 of my meals. I cannot recommend the fish burger... it was not good. But all the other burgers and food were amazing and pleasurable to my taste buds. Great servers, good management. I had been dying to try this place so I was super excited when my teammate chose this for his birthday lunch spot. Sadly, I was extremely underwhelmed.
