The good reviews led me to try this place and I can confirm it's a great pedicure! They are friendly, clean, and professional. They don't rush through it and the extra massage is SUCH a nice touch! I spent $40 including tip for just a pedicure which is more than I'm used to but hey you get what you pay for. I don't get pedicures that often - just an occasional treat, but I will be coming back to 675! I REALLY liked how friendly and nice the employees are which is a nice change from some nail places. Last time I had a new, young nail technician, no name displayed, and she grabbed all the change I received after paying cash. As my nails were still wet, I couldn't handle the change right away. Great service!! In town for a wedding and needed 3 manicures quickly- 675 nails came to the rescue. I called and the woman on the phone was courteous and accommodating. All 3 manicurists were phenomenal (I had Jenny and loved her) she did wonders with my already short nails. They gave massages, put vitamin E oil on your hands to make them extra soft. This is a nail oasis in the middle of a strip mall. Just discovered this place near my house, and it is fantastic. Inexpensive mani/pedi that includes not only the sugar scrub but also a paraffin treatment. I picked a glittery nail polish on accident, and the staff even let me know ahead of time because some clients hadn't liked it. The massage chairs are new and fabulous, the place is immaculate, and it is very quiet. They actually have signs asking you to "refrain from using your phone if possible as a courtesy to others." Granted, there are cheaper mani/pedi places out there that you can go to -- but I'll always come back here. M-W it's $40 mani/pedi, which is on the higher side, but the sheer calming atmosphere, great staff, and expert service make it worth while. Plus, my polish always lasts a super long time. read more

I have going to 675 Nails for years, loved the massage, the wonderful Pedi's and all the extra's they put into their manicures. All the staff were kind and helpful, never had a bad experience until today. Looks like there is a new owner in town. I called in the after noon to see if I could get it, a man answered the phone, no Ann who owned the salon, but sold it to a new owner. The man was very short with me, said he couldn't take me till 5:45 too busy. When I arrived at 5:45, he told me he has no appointment for me, I reminded him that I had called earlier, he asked what time - I guessed, about 2:30pm. He brings his phone over and shows there were no calls at 2:30pm but there was my phone number on his phone at 2:43pm. I told him it was my number and proved I did call. He basically said he has no appointment for me and didn't offer me an option or apologized. If was if he was proving he was "The Man" and I was a nothing woman. It was awful. I asked if he could take me but he just kept telling me how busy he was, yet there were only 2 customers in the palce. The poor staff looked in horror as this happened as if they were afraid. I told them I loved them and blew a kiss and walked out, down the block to Dasha's and was well taken care of. About an hour later I was picking up at Poochi''s and a woman came up to me and asked if I was just at 675 Nails and walked out, when I said I was, she said she was horrified at how I was treated and that the new owner is going to lose all his business if he treats his customer like crap, not to mention his employees. I hope someone explains to him about customer service, that women are not going to come in because they respect him because he is rude to them. That the customer is always right. Was a loyal 675 customer until a week ago. Went in for a no chip and within days I had clump like ridges on several of my nails. Clearly the application was done incorrectly. I went back in and they offered to fix only the ones that had the ridges, leaving me with 5 fresh no chips and 5 week old no chips. It didn't make sense to me so I asked if I could have them all done instead. They discounted the service $5. Unacceptable considering nail salons are a dime a dozen! read more

Love this place! I went because of good yelp reviews and it totally exceeded expectation! My pedis are always immaculate and the customer service is so friendly and welcoming. They do a lot of extra little services like a paraffin heel wrap and leg and shoulder massages to make the experience special and they never rush. My friend and I have a standing date here. It's a little far from where I live but I'm happy to make the trip. Always leave here feeling happy and satisfied! read more

I've gone to this place for 8 years and it's perfect. When owners changed I wasn't sure how it would go and I have to say, I think I like it more. The manicurists always have a smile, give great massages and the manicures last for a week and the pedicures last a month. I love it! What happened to Julie, Helen and the others? I am used to the one hour pedi here at 675 but under the new management, I have had two pedicures that lasted only 35 minutes. The water wasn't even hot when I asked for it to be hot... if the previous owner opened a new nail salon, I wish I could find out where it is. It would be worth the drive. read more

I have been coming here for almost 4 years! Needless to say, they have earned my loyalty. Even after moving out to the western suburbs, I still make the trek to Skokie to have my nails done. Sara is the best in the business. She is very kind and considerate when it comes to listening to your ideas. And it's nice to have a perfectionist work on your nails. My manicures last a long time and are always high quality work. Angela, the owner, is very hospitable and will even help you put on your shoes/coat when it's all said and done. My daughter and I have been frequenting this establishment for a number of years and there is now another new owner who also seems to be putting her stamp on the place. We have always received excellent service - the ladies are friendly and the massages are wonderful. I have one person I usually ask for as she knows what I like but when she has not been available I have used other ladies and they have done a great job. To the lady who dissed the place - coming in late and expecting people to stay after their working hours is rude and insensitive. I am not sure I even believe her story as I have only received the utmost in quality service. I have been there when people rush in 5 minutes before closing and expect great service - not fair!! read more

I have been coming to 675 Nails for about 15 years. They have gone through a handful of different owners in those number of years, and the latest, Angela and her crew, are simply wonderful! Angela is so friendly and accommodating, always showering you with appreciation and little gifts to show they care. The have the most friendly nail technicians who are very detail-orientated and thorough in the work they do. I honestly do not feel okay taking my nails anywhere else. While everybody is truly great at 675, I have been seeing Sara for the past two years and she has helped my nails grow longer and stronger and always keeps them looking fresh! They have recently remodeled the inside, creating a really warm and friendly feel, have the largest selection of polish colors I've ever seen, and always look for a way to make you happy. Do yourself a favor and go to 675, prices are perfectly reasonable and they really know how to pamper you!! In the winter months, if you get a mani/pedi, you get a free paraffin wax treatment which is incredible! Can't say enough good things about this place, for somebody who is VERY into their nails as I am, they are the absolute best. read more

Favorite nail salon hands down! I live in Chicago but drive out to Skokie just to go to 675 Nail. The technicians keep the place so clean and they are so good!! 675 also has a much better color selection than many other places, will definitely continue to drive out for my pedicures and no chip manicures. read more

I am a regular customer. But 3 times I have had issues with my appointment within the past 6 months. When they are not rushed they do excellent work. But what I don't like is Angela the owner will squeeze in customers right before your appointment time with your manicurist and you end up waiting at least 30 mins or so or you get stuck with someone other than who you are normally scheduled. If you refuse then you get the " I would really like to slap you about now look" I am sorry but, I am there once a week at the same time and if you can figure out my appointment time and make it work, I will take my $990.00 plus tip for my girl to another nail salon. The only reason why I stay is because it is walking distance from my home and my girl does excellent work. But I am willing to drive the distance for a salon who will respect my time and business. At my last appointment when they did not have it written down in the books, I had to tell Angela she needs to figure something out because I confirmed the appointment at my previous visit. I also expressed I continue to have issues with my appointments. What made matters worse she had no idea that I came in one a week. I would think you would know your regulars. Anyway about 30 mins later another woman walked in and she was not on the books either but she was not so nice about it. Hum.....twice in one day? it can't be me that is not getting it right. In the future I will be happy to change my rating, but the service has got to get better. Angela needs to better mange her appointment times otherwise she is going to see a decrease in her business. read more

If you just want your nails trimmed and polished, you can go just about anywhere and get it done fairly cheaply. BUT, if you need some "me" time, 675 NAILS is the place to go. The pedicure is an amazing experience, with exfoliating scrubs and lotions and potions in a long luxurious deep leg massage. All the while sitting and relaxing in brand new massage chairs. My pedicure was a lovely 45+ minute experience. The manicure included a wonderful hand and arm massage and a neck and shoulder massage with a lovely smelling lotion. Finally, at the drying station, another shoulder massage. The redecorated and updated salon is done in lovely, soothing colors. A little more than you'd pay at some other places - $45 for a mani-pedi, but you can get the same wonderful treatment Monday through Wednesday for $40. I know you'll have a wonderful and relaxing experience and leave with a contented smile on your face. read more
