Okay, I get it. You're new, place is hyped up, it's crowded. But 30+ minutes wait just so you guys forget the topping in my drink. Only ordered 2 drinks.. It wasn't hard to get 4 ingredients in.. Cmon guys. Edit: in relation to drinks, they were alright but not one of the best I've had. Japanese matcha soy was okayish. Didn't finish it as it wasn't as tasty as I expected. Mung bean with aloe was a bit better. Tasted like red bean drink with a hint of coconut. Aloe is the natural aloe so that's alright. read more

Probably my favorite boba place right now. While the menu is small, each tea has an original, authentic, and fragrant flavor. My personal favorite is the oolong milk tea. I asked for the difference between the oolong tea and the assam milk tea and they described the assam as having a more "floral" flavor while the oolong has a "darker" flavor. This place does not have a lot of the crazy different and new fusion teas that a lot of stores in the 626 have, but I would say it has the best milk teas. This is my first time going to this place and I love it! The people who work there are kind and polite. Not only that, the place lets you try samples of drinks that you want before ordering, which is helpful so that you know what you want. I sampled strawberry hibiscus, herbal tea, and mung bean and with each sip I can tell that the quality is fantastic! This place is great my wife and I love these drinks a lot , the sea salt black coffee is our ultimate favorite I would suggest all you guys to try it . I don't know where to start. Let's just start off with the fact that this particular location needs an entire new management and new employees. Every time I come here it's something different and it's always negative. The workers here love arguing back with the customers even when they are the ones In the wrong. They always seem to not believe you when you say "with boba" they never put boba and you always have to come back for your boba and they always want to argue with you telling you that you never mentioned boba. Secondly, the manager there never believes you when you go complain that your drink is wrong. She has the audacity to go to the register and search the order history. And the most annoying thing of all, it's been 7 times in a row that they are OUT OF BOBA. I mean come on it's literally a boba place and your always out of boba? How is that ok? This is the only 7leaves that is always out of boba, that always forgets to put boba in my orders, and that has the worst customer service I've encountered in a 7leaves cafe. I really hope this place changes their workers and the fact that they never ever want to make boba anymore. Ridiculous! read more

Seeing my friends always get this I always wondered where they got those drinks, so I decided to look on yelp where the nearest one would be. From my location, Glendale to Alhambra its not that far of a drive so I decided to go there on my break time just to see whats good here. When you get there parking is limited and could fit a good 12-18 cars but has a drive-through as well if you wanted it to go. They have about 10 drinks on the menu and two sizes large or small with add ons if you want. All are priced under $5 for drinks unless you add some add ons which is not pricey at all. The place is small like a cafe should be a large table with six seats, a comfy couch, chairs and a set of tables with a bench like seat near the door. The inside is well kept, theres wifi and the staff is pretty nice. They do have a punch card in which you buy a drink they mark it up and when you fill it up you get a free drink which is nice because it'll bring you back for more if you love the place. So far I've had the sunset passion which is really good but sometimes when Im not craving the sweetness I do reduce it. Ive also had their house special coffee when I'm in need of some caffeine and mung bean drink which for me is sweet for my tastes but its good though. The other drink is the taro as well which is good, so I've yet to try the other drinks when I come back but I'm just a simple person so I usually don't do add ons like I usually do. Its a go to for me when Im in the area cause I know when I come back again its already a free drink for me. read more

Always great service coming here. The staff is always friendly and will answer any questions. Also if you want to try something that they don't have to make to order they will give you a sample just ask. There drinks are good at one point they were great. What has changed my mind is the amount of dairy they add. The amount has increased since my last visit so it kinda takes from the flavor of the tea. Also if your lactose it might hit you faster than you think because most of their drinks are CREAMY! The place is big enough for you to use as a study area or a place to catch up with friends. I am basically addicted to 7 Leaves & their iced coffees. I literally come through almost every single day - if not twice a day - and every time, their drinks are consistently delicious & their customer service is always friendly & personable. As someone who's always on the go, that's what I appreciate the most = consistency. However, today was unexpected. I drove up to get my usual iced Vietnamese Coffee and I didn't realize that my stamp card was full until I reached the window. When it dawned on me that my drink would be free I offhandedly told the barista "Aw man, I should have ordered a large today." Instead of just handing me my drink (which was already prepared) she actually offered to see if they could change it to a large size instead. That just made my day! It was the 3rd time I filled my stamp card & I just really appreciated that she thought to do that. Kim, you are the real MVP!!! After she gave me my large drink, I thanked Kim & she told me that it wasn't just her but a whole team of people behind it. I was like damn, and she's so humble too! But, I do see the truth in that. Something I didn't know but you can ask for extra shots of expresso in the house coffee! Perfect for those days when you're feelin too tired to function. I don't think it comes at an extra cost and I believe you can ask for many shots. The most I've asked for is 3 and that really really wakes you up. read more

My favorite drinks are the Summer Mint and Sunset Passion because they are so refreshing, and I haven't found another tea place near me that has those similar flavors that are as good. This is one of my top favorite boba places. I usually get the match soy. I love that it uses soy milk instead of milk powder or regular milk because my skin is sensitive to cow milk. One thing I don't really like is that we can't really adjust our sugar level. We could suggest easy sugar but I still wish the drink is a little less sweet with easy sugar. Ordered the house iced coffee and iced oolong milk tea and requested for light or easy sugar. All of my drinks came out overly sweet. I gave a drink to my brother and his first reaction was also how overly sweet the iced coffee was. Love the idea of the drive thru but hope your pre-made drinks can be customized a little more. In this day and age, everyone is trending towards having a healthier lifestyle and that goes with the food and drinks that people will want to order. At most drink places you can request quarter or half sugar but the drinks at 7Leaves is already premixed and too sweet! Please fix this and I'll definitely be back! read more

Simple and delicious. You can never go wrong with 7 leaves. You might miss the entrance to this location if it's your first time because it's a super hidden and abrupt right turn. Other than that, there's always parking because a lot of people just go to the drive thru. Lots of table space and outlets for studying. It can get a little cold in there so bring a jacket! I'm giving this place a 3 star review based on my experiences from multiple visits. I would say there is probably a 50/50 chance that you would get good service and good drinks when you come. Sometimes their drinks taste great, but other times they are too watered down or they get your order wrong.I initially hesitated to give this place three stars, but I realized that every time I get drinks here, I would either leave happy or leave upset. The lack in consistency is something that management should pay attention to. Today (9/3/19 @ 9:15 PM)was one of the bad experiences that led me to give this establishment lower stars than average. When I pulled up in the driveway, I only saw a couple people inside the store and I was the only customer in the drive through lane. I ordered two drinks , and the worker in the intercom repeated the order just as I had stated. When I pulled up to pay, the worker repeated the order and total before taking my card and returning it to me. About five minutes later, a different worker brought a different drink and said here is the drink you ordered. I clarified that I ordered two different drinks and the girl had a bewildered look on her facing, saying that this was what I ordered. Now believe me, the two drinks I ordered were nothing close to what she had presented me and her coworker even repeated the order twice! After closing the window and having some discussion, she said oh okay you ordered the two drinks with boba correct? I replied yes and she then asked me for 8.90 AGAIN. When I said that I had paid already, she insisted that I had only paid for the one drink because they thought that I ordered that. INCORRECT. There was already a pending charge from 7 leaves for 8.90. -_-. At this point, I'm tired, I want my drinks, and I'm not sure why there is so much confusion. There were times where I've ordered a lot of drinks and they leave out a drink or they give me an incorrect drink, but I can understand because I gave a complicated order. After some contemplation, the worker said it was fine, gave me my drinks and I drove off. I should have checked the drinks because after going halfway home, I realized that they forgot to add the boba. Yes, I was annoyed because I was craving the boba and because I PAID FOR IT. Their drive through is supposed to be more convenient, but I realized that most of the time, when they mess up on my order, it's when I go through the drive through. Some might say it's very simple and that I can just go back to have my order corrected, but it's actually very inconvenient. The location makes it difficult because there's a lot of road restrictions, traffic lights, pedestrians, and then you have to wait for customers if you want to go through the drive through. This one time I drove back because I was missing a drink, it took me 20 minutes to correct my order. Not convenient at all. And of course tonight, it's past 9 PM and I'm almost home, so it's not feasible to drive all the way back just to have boba added to my drink. It's only 50 cents for a topping, but if I added up all the times I was given one drink less than I paid for and all the times they forgot to add the toppings, it adds up to something. It's a waste of time and money. As a regular customer, I shouldn't have to be worried about consistency and WASTING money every time I come. I'll probably come back on the future still, but I hope I don't get scammed again. read more

I make the drive just to get their mung bean milk tea w/ boba. But when they tell you they ran out, it gets pretty frustrating. You're better off going to Tastea down the street. read more

Beeesttt Vietnamese Iced Coffee at a boba place ever, and I also die for their Oolong Milk Tea - not too sweet and not too tea-y. Also can't beat the drive-thru option (!!!!! can more boba places do this please) for when we're on-the-go, whether it's after a movie, after lunch, or before studying. Inside is not a great ambiance for studying inside since it's mostly couches and seems designed for conversation rather than schoolwork, but may try to swing by with my laptop one day. Convenient parking lot, but I always get confused since the entrance is on the left and exit is on the right and they're both one way to make the drive thru process efficient...but still always messes me up... Anyway just make sure to know when to turn! Lol. read more
