We walked all the way over here on a friend's reference and all the tv's were on the same baseball game and the projector had the World Cup on. This beach club is right next to the ocean. It's busy in nights on weekends. As I was with kids just picked up pizza from this place and enjoyed at beach. I live in Mission Beach, but surprisingly this is my first time here on nye! we came for the paging the 90s band which did an amazing job! and I really loved the 710 bar vibe. The vibe is perfect and feasible to order drink and chat or enjoy the dance floor. I really like the layout of this bar, feel like it offers enough seating to sit and large enough dance floor to dance. also no line for the women's bathroom! which is always a win! Had an awesome time at 710 Club! Service was great--Jenny was our server and she was amazing. Super friendly and really refreshing compared to a lot of the other spots I've been to in PB. I got the endless mimosas (great deal!) and loved that I got to choose my juice--wasn't just stuck with orange juice, which was a major plus. Great place for small bands starting out, excellent place for trivia. I wished they promoted their open mic night more because they have such a fantastic stage and venue for it. Their trivia night is hella popular, and incorporates beer pong, or something like that, on stage...music rounds, it's just great. Check your bill after, and then wait a day or two. Charges will pop on and off. It's weird like that. Sometimes you have to call them depending on who served you, and sometimes you'll get hit with a very large extra (like $25) charge) that you'll be like WTF over. I waited and it didn't drop off, but I called them and they took it off. read more

Accidentally in love with 710 Beach Club. My girlfriends and I dressed up as Shrek characters for my (almost) sister in law's bachelorette party. Of course this meant we needed to find a karaoke bar to perform bangers like I'm a Believer. Since we were staying nearby in Mission Beach, we decided 710 was the perfect option for our group of five. This large karaoke spot is located in Pacific Beach, walking distance from a ton of other great bars. They have a full stage, sound system, and even a MC running the show. To participate, you'll need to submit your name and song choice to the MC to join a long line of intoxicated performers. Once your name is called, the lyrics will be placed on screens throughout the bar. The best part? There's a tv outside streaming your stage performance to other bar goers as they walk by. The waitresses, bartenders, MC, and security were absolute gems. I was so appreciative that the entire bar hyped us up as we acted like complete fools. I wouldn't suggest coming here for a casual lunch because although they have a lunch menu and outdoor patio it is ultimately a club setting. Loud music can be heard from inside and outside, you must be 21 to even set foot on the outdoor patio, the bouncer has a large ego and unfriendly demeanor and will look you up and down, bend up your local resident ID for 30 seconds straight like its unbelievable. Do not try the breakfast pizza. The eggs are undercooked to the point where the whites are dripping all over, and is not worth $25. I would not return based on service and pricing. I understand it's near the beach, but you can find other less expensive places with an actual ocean view. They're trying to be Miami, and they are not succeeding. read more

I've managed restaurants for near 10 years and have never come across such terrible service from some of the most egotistical bar tenders I've ever seen out of any major city in North America or Europe. We're locals and have been coming here to support local music but 710 is the #1 places is consistently bad service from only the bar tenders. Everyone else works hard and is great. However the bar staff, especially the women, appear annoyed 100% of the time if you ask for a drink. You'll constantly wait 5-10 minutes before they decide to address you. They'll take your food order only to come back 30-40 minutes later telling you the kitchen can't do it. WORST SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO BY ANY MEASURE COMING FROM THE INDUSTRY. read more

Do NOT go here if you are BLACK. This was my first time going on 2/6/26 and they made it very clear they did not want business from people of color at karaoke night. 1. My two Black friends and I were at the bar trying to buy a drink. The guy behind the bar kept telling us he was not a bartender and that two other people behind the bar would help us. The woman and man he pointed to kept ignoring us. I even heard a Black man next to us tell them, "You've skipped me multiple times." Mind you, nobody else besides my friends and me and the man next to us was trying to get a drink at that time. 2. My friend was singing at the table and leaned up on the chair using her knee. She did not stand on the table or the chair. A guy dressed all in black (the same guy behind the bar who said he could not help us) rushed up to our table, waved his hands in her face, and said, "Feet on the floor" when she was already sitting down. 3. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A white woman later stood on the bar counter and sang a song about the Ku Klux Klan, Asian people and fried rice, and deporting Mexicans. Considering the current climate of the world and the fact that I am from Texas where sundown towns and the KKK still exist, this was sick and disturbing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mind you, my friend could not even lean up, but this woman was allowed to stand on the bar counter singing something so disgusting. 4. My friend, who had already been yelled at by the man in black, was standing on the dance floor supporting a girl singing a Rihanna song. A white woman who was very sweet pushed my friend toward the stage to go up with the singer. My friend kept saying, "No, no, I'm just supporting," and the girl on stage was trying to hand her the mic. Then once again someone from the back, this time the DJ in a tan shirt, came up and yelled, "Get down" "Uh uh, she can't be up there." However, a group of white guys, about five of them, were allowed to go on stage together and sing. Some of them even joined mid song. But as soon as my Black friend was pushed on stage, they told her she could not be up there. 5. My two black friends put in a song request as soon as we got there, and once we left after this horrible experience, it was very clear that their request, "Promiscuous," was intentionally skipped. Once again, will not be supporting this business. After confiding in our other black friends, they then told us they had similar experiences of unfriendly treatment at this establishment. read more

In PB for a family vacation. We took the dogs for a walk along the boardwalk and decided to get a bite to eat. The outdoor patio looked promising as a dog friendly establishment. Checked on at the host stand to ask if dogs were welcome. The manager/ owner replied "We love dogs here! Do you prefer indoor or outdoor dining?" Now I'm thinking this is my new favorite restaurant! I hate outdoor dining but I love taking my dogs out with us, so it's a necessity. We were immediately greeted by the bartender(I wish I caught her name) and we were offered a dog bowl of water, which my girls appreciated. Christian brought us dog treats while we waited on our other guest and Kayla took great care of us. Everyone was so friendly. I work in the industry and truly appreciate when a staff seems genuinely happy at work. My brother in law had a burger and said it was excellent! I ordered the Tsunami Platter and although I could never finish it in a million years I was impressed by all of the components! Hands down done of the best chicken tenders I've ever had. These are panko breaded and super juicy. The mango habenero paired perfectly. I consider myself a "buffalo fried cauliflower" expert and these were more than amazing. I'm not a fan of cheese sticks but these were clearly made in house and as delicious as everything else. The French fries and the chips & salsa were so good. I wish I had room for everything. Overall, a pretty perfect experience. We WILL return. Upon leaving, Christian hit us with a 2 for 1 brunch card to enjoy on our next visit and I don't know how I could possibly resist.
