Wow! Every plate each of us had was phenomenal! I had the drunken noodles! Chicken was tender, beef was not over cooked, seasoning was perfect! Would come back just for that. My wife had the panang curry chicken dish; took a few bites of it and it was very delicious! Our friends had the 9 Chicken pad Thai (shrimp comes on top or ask for it on the side if allergic to it). The young lady (cashier/waitress) is super super rude for absolutely no reason. She exploded in my face only because I asked if my order is ready. I didn't insult her or disrespect her or raise my voice. She continued doing so during my entire presence in the restaurant. Why? I told her I am just asking. I'm not mad at all. But she kept complaining why nobody is understanding how busy she is I'm shocked!! Why would you hire someone who has anger issues like this? Went here after my sister's graduation and all the employees knew my sister and aunt (they go here way too often haha) and greeted us all warmly! The interior is very clean and beautifully decorated. Definitely more on the sweeter side but that's how I like my fried rice haha! If you're not into the sweetness, try ordering the Original Thai fried rice. My sister ordered it and I enjoyed the more savory flavors. I also got to try the pad see ew and no surprise, it was super flavorful and authentic:) At the end, they gave us the Thai sticky rice with mango to celebrate my sister's graduation. The coconut cream and sesame seeds on the sticky rice were very fragrant and went beautifully with the mango! Super sweet but super delicious! You can't go wrong with 9 Pad Thai. I absolutely like it here. They make amazing dishes. I've tried their special pad thai and boy that was amazing. Also their fried tofu with sweet and chilli sauce was good too! I haven't really try their other dishes to really get a feel of it but so far it's been good. The only thing sucks about this place is the long wait if you dine in. And I also notice a lot of people were walking in and out and they get a lot of to-go orders. This was the best authentic Thai food I've found in the past three years living in the DMV area. I actually think it's the best Thai food I've had in the US hands down. Why? Because I've been to Northern Thailand twice in rural areas and this food was exactly like the authentic food I had on the streets and restaurants there. The owners are actually from Thailand. The owners and the staff are very friendly and kind and humble. I appreciated our conversation and their service and obviously, the food they prepared. We had the Thai fried rice and Pad Thai. We will definitely be coming back here. I almost forgot to mention that their prices are very very good. I'm used to paying over $10 for Pad Thai, but here it was less than $9 since we went in during the lunch (it was a Saturday, too!). I had the worst experience here. Given 20 minute estimate when I ordered over the phone for food. It ended up taking 60 minutes. There was no where to wait and social distance appropriately which was a danger given the pandemic. I was also waiting being pregnant and all I had to drive back back a 2nd time to pick up my food and the portions given were smaller.
