We came here with a party of four including two children and I was a tad bit worried that they wouldn't have a kids menu but they do and although it's not extensive, they have your usual fare; chicken tenders, hot dog, corn dog, chicken sandwich and a hamburger or cheeseburger. The kiddos loved the chicken tenders and chili dog (add chili and cheese for .99$). Fries are made fresh and I loved the seasoning. My husband ordered the Tex-Mex burger which came with bacon and jalapeños. He loved it and ate the entire thing in one sitting. It had a nice kick from the peppers and if you like spicy, you'll love this. I ordered the ribeye burger cooked medium rare and WOW, was this a winner! Cooked perfectly medium rare and on a warm bun with mayo and some fresh veggies (TLO) and I was in heaven. The steak was so tender and juicy and it basically melted in my mouth like a stick of butter. Love the antique decor and the guy manning the register was super friendly and we had a nice conversation about Marvel and video games. They had unsweetened tea and a lot of drink options. My wife and I stopped in at 4:21pm and ordered a mushroom Swiss burger and tots and I ordered 2 patties and cheese no bun no fries and nothing to drink. At 4:57pm our order was ready. Asked the older gentleman in the back what took so long and he said we only have 2 cooks in kitchen. Got home no mushrooms 2 order of fries and a bun on mine. I took it back and told the guy behind the counter if the wrong order was because I did not tip anything on a Togo order and he spouted off yes that's it and said we will remake it and there were some words back and forth and he calls me an old man and says fuck you to me!!!!! I've never dined in but I always order to go so can't say much about service. Though the people at the front are always nice and conversational! My family and I always order from here when we're craving a good ol' American burger. They are gigantic here and honestly, we can never finish one by ourselves. My faves would have to be Classic, Wild West, Southern Style and Texas Original. The fries here are pretty bomb too. I love this place!! This is our go-to for a quick awesome meal. We have tried many of their burgers (they are HUGE!), and one of my favorite meals is their chicken tenders with toast and gravy. I've never had someone I didn't like! Fries have a really nice seasoned salt too! Portions are very generous and worth every penny! The service at 9er's is also amazing. The one and only time our order was wrong (a very minor mistake), the employees went above and beyond to correct it and make sure we were happy. Family environment. Service was nice and orders come out in a timely manner (taking into consideration things are cooked to order). Their potato was tough, possibly over steamed. The chopped bbq meat tasted as if it was premixed, which might be expected for a burger place. The hot wings weren't too bad. They don't have enough parking and what's there is inconvenient. We had to park some distance away and walk in the heat. This I almost exclusively a sandwich place. I show the menu in my pictures. You order at the counter and pick up your food when your number is called. I had a hamburger with bacon and tater tots. It was a good and generous burger. My friend had a chicken sandwich which he said he wouldn't order again. It's kinda of a small place. When we arrived at 11:15am the place was filling up and the line to order wound from the order station to the opposite wall, then bent and went a little way toward the back. We stood in line about 5-10 minutes to place our order and then waited a long time for it to be ready. His chicken sandwich was ready to be picked up about 5 minutes before my burger. Many people who ordered after me were served before me. Their pick up routine is chaotic. A child had picked up my order and taken it to his table before I got to the counter to pick it up. I couldn't get the guy's attention to ask where my food was because he was in an extended harangue with another customer over an order. With all this waiting around we were late to our next stop. My personal favorite item is the chicken hoagie. Grilled chicken with grilled onions and provolone cheese and that buttery hoagie to top it off! Simple yet perfect. The burgers are amazing too! Recently visited this restaurant for the first time this week and I was really impressed. The establishment was completely packed. The employees are very friendly, the manager even checked on the status of my order without me asking. I ordered their pickle fries and a spinach and mushroom quesadilla. The pickle fries were perfectly cooked and thinly cut. I wasn't that big of a fan of the quesadilla, it was a little too grainy for me. It was also cooked perfectly but there was something about the mushrooms that I didn't quite like. I will be returning to try other items and of course for those pickle fries. Great mom and pop burger joint! Burgers are a generous size and toppings are just right. Small place for sure, but you can tell they have great food cause the people keep coming. I went on a Sunday around 1pm and although it wasn't crowded it was definitely busy. Food came out quick, but not too quick. The Cajun chicken sandwich was off the chain. Curly Fries were on point. Most people screw fries up for reason unknown to me but everything was good hear. I hope they are consistent but my first experience was great. Went back the very next day excited to eat here again and they gave me 1.5 strip of back on my chicken sandwich when they say before it was an even proportion.
