I bought a car in May from this company and I've had to take it back with issues about four times now. Today I went in to pick up my car and a very rude lady came out telling me that I did not have to speak to the owner and that I could speak to her only. She was very rude and got aggressive wanting to fight me. She got in my face and told me I had to leave. I asked her for my car keys and if she knew what was wrong with the car and she said she didn't know. So why would I talk to her and not the owner. She was extremely unprofessional and using profound language. I recorded this lady ,who turns out to be the owners wife ,and filed a police report . I hope I don't have to take the car back for more issues. read more

BUYER BEWARE!  I will not go into the full story but to sum it up, I left a deposit for a vehicle I was interested in purchasing on May 9th.  After 4 calls to Harry, we finally worked out a date and time to deliver the car to finalize the Cash deal.    When the arrived on May 21st it was not in good condition so they took the car back.  May 22nd and 23rd called Harry to request my deposit be returned to me.  No call back and no response!  Before the delivery calls were answered and/or returned.... now Nothing! read more

Saw a used BMW 328ix. being sold by A-1Mortos, on Carfax.com.Read the carfax report which looked ok. Called A-1 regarding the car and was assured that the car was in very good condition I put down a $500 hold fee. I called A-1 Motors and the owner's wife answered the phone. I told her that I was confirming the date of my test drive. I then asked her if, they are willing to negotiate the price of the car. She told me no and that her husband, the owner, was in the room with her. I After some thought, I decided to still to proceed. The carfax and pictures looked really good. I drove, from Michigan to Schaumburg, IL to test drive the car. Also scheduled a pre-purchase inspection, in case the test drive went well. When I arrived, at A-1, only the receptionists and a maintenance worker were present. No salesperson in sight. The receptionist directed the maintenance man to bring the car. He brought the car, left it running, and told me I can proceed to test drive it. When I got into the car, I intentionally turned the car off and restarted it. AND, immediately a warning flashed on the navigation system, waring to have the engine checked immediately. I turned the car off and informed the receptionist who called the mechanic. When he turned the car on, he saw the warning. He plunged in the diagnostic tool, as I was standing watching and, many codes popped up. When he saw that I was watching he moved the diagnostic screen so that, I could no longer see it. I listened to the sound of the motor carefully and it sounded awful ( I have driven a 3 series BMW for over 25 years and know what it should sound like, ) While the mechanic was fiddling around, I informed him and the receptionist that, I am no longer interested. Don't waste your time driving to this place. We came from Tinley, drove 45 mins to see a vehicle we emailed and inquired about and when we got to the address of the business it was just a garage with NO cars for sale outside and no parking lot. It was super sketchy. It got even sketchier when the garage opened and 3 men walked out and just stood in front of our car. Myself and my daughter wouldn't get out of the car because we were scared of them, it looked like they wanted to intimidate us. My husband got out and said hey we wanted to check out the Jeep for sale and they asked what year and we told them and then they just simply said "it's sold". The Jeep we were interested has been listed on their website since Oct 2020 so who even knows if they ever had it or if it really did sell but don't waste your toll money coming here. We went over to a REAL dealership in Arlington Heights where I could feel comfortable exiting the vehicle with my small child. read more

After searching for the perfect SUV that had everything I wanted I found a beautiful 2007 Acura MDX on Carfax website. This beauty was located at A-1 Motor Sale and I'm glad it was or I would have never had the pleasure of meeting the great people that make A-1 distinct from other dealerships. You are greeted by a very friendly face the minute you walk in and are offered coffee and a snack which came in handy for me since I drove about an hour from the loop on a very empty stomach. I had the pleasure of doing business with Singh who even offered to have someone get me something to eat. After going for the test drive Singh knew how much I loved the Acura that he worked with me so that I was able to drive the beauty home the next day. I work in the loop and they even made it easy for me to pick up my Acura by picking me up from the Schaumburg Metra station in my newly washed Acura and I was able to drive it back to the shop to finish the paper work and drove my beauty home. Don't waste your time going here. Harry is a liar and he is very unprofessional. I called him and left an email for the car. He told me he'd call me back because the car was out as a loaner, but he never followed up. I called two days later to follow up to make sure the car was available, and was told by Sean that the car was still available, and it was in their lot. Sean had no customer service and was very rude on the phone,by the way. I show up the next day during their business hours. I call before I walk in and my call is ignored. I walk in and Harry intercepts me asking about the car, and said he meant to get back to me. Harry asks me to take a seat while he pulls the car around. He comes back 5 minutes later and tells me he sold the car to his brother's friend. He doesn't even ask or offer me another car. I left pretty upset because I felt it in my gut, he was lying. I sent an email two days later using my wife's address, inquiring about the same car. Low and behold, Harry responds to her saying the car is available. I highly recommend not buying a car from this place. read more

Had a great experience at A1 Motor Sales. Purchased a car at a great price with Low miles. Only concern I had before purchasing was that the tires needed to be replaced. When this was mentioned to Santokh he didn't even hesitate and offered to replace with a set of new tires No Charge. Purchased car. Three weeks later there was some cosmetic damage that was not noticed when the car was purchased. Called Santokh and without hesitation was instructed to bring car in and it would be taken care of.
