The place is practically brand new, is always clean, and I never have a problem with entering & leaving the facility. I want to give a special shout out to David, Anna, & especially Eddie. They've all been extremely accommodating & very professional at their jobs. Always very pleasant and courteous when I see them. They are always very willing to help when any issues arise. They are great employees. I feel safe and secure that my things are stored at their facility. Never had any serious issues. I will continue to store my things there because it's close & convenient, the facility is beautiful, but most of all because of the employees.

Gate…read morecode allows entry everyday of the week (6am to 10pm) with additional hours where they have staff onsite (930am to 6pm Monday thru Friday, sat 9-4pm, 10am to 2pm on sundays). I got an indoor closet like space of 5 x 10 ft for 98/mo, but I did have to add an additional insurance (mandatory unless you can prove you have your own) that covers up to $2000 in the case of fire, flood, etc. they charge an additional $29 to set up initially but I believe they all do that. The staff was very professional. It's local for me so that is the most important. What's great was that the employee even came out with my ID so I didn't even have to park outside the office, get out, and go back into the office to exchange the cart key for my ID. There's a gate code to both enter and exit the lot, enter the building, and use the elevator, so it's good knowing the place is secure.

    I've had an overall bad experience with SecurCare. To call it "secure" is inaccurate. First of…read moreall, about 9 months into my rental, my unit was robbed/trashed. Management was blase about it, saying the lock hadn't been tampered with, and since I am the only one with keys, they didn't know what to tell me. The indifferently told me to call the police to file a report, if I wanted to. It didn't make any difference, since I didn't have a written inventory or receipts for what was in the unit, and felt like filing an insurance claim would be pointless. I was having health issues and there was no way for me to try to inventory all my things at that point. In frustration I bought a new lock and relocked the unit. Inside, thieves had cut open boxes and thrown things all over. I suggested an adjustment on a couple months' rent and was told no. A few weeks later I was called and ordered to inspect my unit immediately since there had been a fire in an adjoining unit and sprinklers had gone off. At first glance, things seems ok and dry. It was hard to tell because my boxes were packed pretty densely. At this point I decided to get out asap. When I rented 14 months ago, rent was $85 a month. There have been three increases since then, with rent going up to $175. I have been getting my things out a car load at a time, and some items indeed were ruined by water--precious books, papers, and expensive oriental rugs ruined. Things with sentimental meaning that cannot be replaced. I finally have everything out and am ending my lease this month. I have paid approximately $2K to have much of my stuff essentially ruined. I am really disappointed and feel like this business is concerned only about bottom line profit, not customers. Storing things here was a waste of money and time.

Manager then says I can move you but you'll be charged more...fine, I prefer a bigger space so let me move to that, price he says it's $252. Online you show that it's $186. You'll be charged another $30 but it won't be $50 more. Then let's do it online. He's typing away as I do it and they pull the same bait and switch! I say you saw me doing this in front of you and he says that's on you. I say you have the unit. He refuses to help. While there another person shows asking to get into his unit to move out and he says call the regional manager. The guy is pleading with him and he refuses to help. Of course I don't know the situation there so I don't move just wait for him to help me. He refuses. Exacerbated I say fine I'll go to my unit but there is no light bulb and the other switch doesn't work. He says we have no obligation to provide light. WHAT!?! I say I can't believe this is how you all do business I will be writing a review. He says you're bullying me and it's all on camera. WTF Called to cancel both at this point two units, which I haven't put a single item in and they refuse! These people are allowed to do business like this? Just give me straight information, I would've paid the cost if you would've been honest from the beginning and saved me a headache. NEVER DOING BUSINESS HERE ON PRINCIPLE. UNBELIEVABLE
