Emil & Mike are a few of exceptional auto repair mechanics. They know their stuff and will do anything to repair your car at a fair price and when they promise it can be done. The waiting area does not have the fancy coffee machines, and plush sitting areas, no free wi-fi. They deliver service, respect you and your car. If you need an oil change, go there. If a bay is open, you are in and out. I stumbled in one day for an oil change and they have done a lot of repair work on a Cadillac I wanted to sell at prices much cheaper and more reasonable than anyone else I talked with. I was planning to just take my car to Jiffy Lube because it's close by, but they didn't answer when I called. I'm so glad they did not answer, because it led me to Mike! He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable! I have never found "my mechanic" because as a woman I am usually talked to as if I don't know anything about cars and wouldn't want to - but I love my Subaru and I want to know as much as possible about the inner workings of it! I learned so much from Mike today, and although there is a funny sign in the office about only being able to get 2 out of 3 when it comes to "GOOD, CHEAP, and FAST" service, at A&S I really did get all three. Just found my new Auto Repair Shop. I recently purchased a monstous Ford E450 Cutaway/Conversion. A&S performed a "road ready" series of maintenance items for me. The vehicle needed a lot of work and the Owner (Emil) took pity on me and gave me a break on all the items I needed to have done. A&S Auto Service is one of the best places that I've found to take my car. Emil (owner) is extremely knowledgeable and one of the most trustworthy mechanics I have been to. I've taken 3 of my cars to him (Volvo s60, Volvo XC70 and a Toyota Camry) for the last 3 years. I've send my mom and a couple of friends his way and they too were impressed. To put this review into context, I am getting married in less than a week and have a billion things on my to-do list but these guys made such an impression on me this week that I felt compelled to knock this out.... This past week, the transmission in my XC70 was pulling and ultimately the car went into safe mode (it felt like it was stuck in neutral). Emil ran the diagnostics, spent a good 1/2 hour looking at my car, fixed a bulb in my headlight he notcied was out and told me that I needed to go to the dealer to get the software reinstalled on my car. He told me the diagnositc code to communicate to the dealer, how much I should expect to pay and sent me off when a total bill of $0. When I arrived at Dyer and Dyer, they were going to charge me $130 just for the diagnostic (yes, the same one that A&S did at no charge) +++. Net/net, this is not the first example of the owner going out of his way to help me even though he didnt gain anything - I've had at least 6 examples of this type of kindness. I went back today to have them detail my car (full under carriage, engine, inside and outside wash and wax for only $80 and they did a smash up job. Thanks, A&S - you rock. read more

These guys are fantastic. About 6 months ago I got my brake pads and rotors replaced. The back brake pads had burned out which created a squeaking sound. They showed me what the issue was and replaced them under warranty with no arguments. Great customer service and high quality work. I'd recommend them. read more

Very honest people. My transmission failed on the way to work and I stopped at this auto shop at the recommendation of my roommate who has used them many times and loves them. Mershad found that the transmission was completely busted beyond repair, and called numerous sellers for replacement transmissions, trying to find a good balance between price and extended warranty. He laid out all my options clearly. When I decided that it was not worth the repair, he showed me a car he had just fixed up for his wife, but she decided to get a new car, so he was looking to sell. When I decided against the car, he didn't charge me anything at all, despite having spent an hour figuring out what was wrong with my car and discussing options with me. He didn't even accept a tip. This place is indeed a scam. I went there for a quote on a broken air conditioner. They told me they would fix "a hose" that was disconnected for $800. After talking to a second mechanic to verify the problem I was informed that my Cobalt air conditioner isnt even designed with a hose. When I pointed out their error out to A&S Auto I was told to go to some other mechanic because they were too busy for me now. When a place gives an estimate about parts that don't even exist on your car....run. read more

Where do I begin? The place is a scam for one. Second, the work is not good. Recently I had an issue with a transmission. The manager Mike wanted to charge me $2500 for a transmission. And get this he wanted to use a transmission that had 98K miles on it.Outrageous, right! I thought these guys were reputable but the audacity for them to want to charge me $2500 for a transmission repair. I will never use them again and I beg you to do the same! read more

May 11, 2018 I took my 2000 mercedes c280 to A&S after meeting Chris in the parking lot at advanced auto parts. I was checking the r134a pressure in the ac unit and had never used a gauge before and Chris offered to help. My ac wasnt working and pressure was too high and when i arrived both chris and mike were helpful in applying the cost of checking the compressor to the repair cost. They even found a leak in a valve gasket cover i had just replaced elsewhere and thankfully because it was still under warranty at the other repair shop. I was offered a discount to replace the compressor as a new customer if i gave them my business. For me that was the start of the great customer service. Chris even fixed my remote key lock when i told him it didnt work and he found it was simply not making connection to the new batteries i had just replaced and didnt charge me to fix it. I will be taking my benz to A&S auto service from now on! Thank you! My old mechanic no longer appreciated the 18 yrs of business i had given him on my mercedes and nickel and dimed me to death the last visit by charging me $75 to drop in a cabin and air filter that i provided and was planning to put in myself and should have. read more
