We were surprised to find out our lunch would take 25 minutes to be ready, given that it wasn't super busy. While the enchilada short stack was super tasty (hearty, and the potatoes were prefect), the crema on the Griff tasted quite strange, almost like it had spoiled. This is a VERY unassuming gem of a food cart which, if you didn't know it was there, you would miss it. The woman (owner?) that took our order was very friendly, just the type of person you would expect at a vegan food cart. I ordered the mega burrito and I swear it weighed 3lb and was bigger than my forearm!! Loaded with chunks of potato, eggs and kelp not to mention FLAVOR! My husband ordered the Big Country dish which had delicious biscuits smothered in gravy and loads of eggs and veggies. Enough to feed a small village! My sister recommended I come here as she said the breakfast burritos are to die for. Well the food itself has great portions for the price and the flavors are amazing! I was only able to eat two bites of the grilled super burrito before I realized it had mushrooms. (Other items on the menu had the word "mushroom" included in their description. I do not know specific types of mushrooms, just that I'm allergic to all of them.) It was definitely worth every fabulous comment I heard prior to eating there today. I shared a Mt. I've heard so many good things about this place, I've been meaning to try it for a while. Today was my day off and I woke up early just to head over and try their vegan biscuits and gravy! I've waited months! The little cart has such a cozy, relaxing atmosphere underneath their awning next to Palate! I got the Big Country (because I wanted to try the biscuits and gravy AND the scramble!) and got it to go. Even when I got home 20 mins later, the food was amazing!!! So filling and flavorful! The gravy is to die for, the biscuits are fluffy, and the scramble has so many amazing flavors and spices and textures going on! I only ate less than half and was stuffed! Living in Portland, I eat at some really amazing vegan restaurants. This place rivals any vegan place in the city. I cannot tell you how delicious this food was.
