The mongolian grill is what I like the best. The shitake mushrooms are my favorite! Tofu would be a nice addition to the grill bar. The buffet has a good selection. Very clean & friendly, and priced right. I do feel uncomfortable when the owner tries to sell his coupons, but I have to say it does look like a pretty good deal. Ate there tonight for the first time and we enjoyed it. You expect to pay as you walk in since its a buffet but that is not the case. They seat you and a server will come and bring you the drinks you want. Since it is a Saturday night you can choose to add the crab legs to your buffet for a few dollars more. We did not choose that option and just ate the regular buffet menu. We were pleasantly surprised by the number of items on the buffet. A lot of seafood choices. The coconut shrimp was my favorite dish there. They also had mussels which I found a little too rich in taste,, but after taking some of the sauce that is on top off I really enjoyed them. There was a few sushi items and I found them very tasty. Pot stickers are very enjoyable I love how they are a little crispy on the outside ( I like them browned, and found some like that in the pile of them). Never noticed anything being completely out which is good,, they seem to refill the selections often. We did not do the Mongolian grill but seems like they have a lot of choices that you can have them grill up. The desert bar was small but nice, and had quit a bit of ice-cream flavors ( blue bunny) , I choose the peppermint which was great and one of those puffy donuts that I always love . Our server was wonderful , friendly and was genuine apologetic when my son asked for a straw for his drink.. he felt bad he never gave them to us to begin with,, no big deal to me,, just nice he cared. He even looked at the fortune in my sons fortune cookie with him, getting at his level so he could read it with him. When we left they were so friendly " come again soon,, have a nice evening,, thank you"... when you have friendly service it makes me want to come back. They clean the tables very quickly which is nice so your not walking in looking at someone else's dirty plates. which drives me crazy . Someone was walking around vacuuming the carpet but it was one of those push , quiet ones that doesn't bother anyone and makes you feel good that they actually care to keep the place clean.. As far as buffets go, this is actually the best one I've been to in Omaha. The service is actually top notch. They refill empty drinks quicker than most buffets who usually make customers suffer because waiters are busy doing something else. The food was fresh and it made me want to keep coming back. You would think this place only serves asian food, but for Sunday brunch they serve breakfast. Come early though! Sometimes this stuff goes pretty quick depending on the weekend. And they actually have a good variety for brunch. Plus I've never heard of a Chinese buffet actually having a brunch special. LOVE this place. It is clean and the people are friendly. It has a very family feel to it. We love the kids eat for .99 days (wed and thurs) a family of four can eat for $22 which IMO is amazing these days. The selection may not be huge but what they do make is very good. As listed in one of the reviews, I could strongly relate this place to China Buffet as well. There are a few things that make this place different though. I've only been here once but I plan on coming back for sure. The one experience here really went above and beyond for my expectations at a buffet. For starters, the community played a large role in the environment there. It seemed more friendly and more "warming". It's really weird and hard to describe, but while I was in there it felt like a small local community brought together.. Anyways, the food was almost exactly like what you would find at China Buffet, except they took care of it. It wasn't unattended for long periods of time and everything was restocked consistently while I was there. Because the food was taken care of, the quality ended up being better than China Buffet. The price for it was very reasonable and it was cool to witness the owner of the store giving some customers a tour and explaining all of their platters. read more

Good food, friendly service. The owner is a very nice person who takes time to individually thank his customers for coming in. They gave a Mongolian grill, sushi, and the typical buffet favorites. My favorite is the coconut shrimp. They keep the buffet stocked with fresh food . It's large and they can accommodate large groups. If you have room, they have lots of desserts, including many types of scoop it yourself ice cream. The Chinese donuts melt in your mouth! my experience here was a really positive one. being a vegetarian, i am always a little wary of buffets because most don't list the ingredients that are in the food, and aren't always easy to tell at first glance if they contain meat or not. the manager or owner, emy, walked me through and showed me all of the foods i could eat, sent a special order to the kitchen for me, and also helped me mix up a perfect combination of sauces for my grill bowl. it was like having my own personal chef! he went above and beyond for me. he was genuinely sweet. the food was also pretty tasty in my opinion, and i really enjoy the ambiance of the place. the dessert options were yummy. read more

this is around the corner from me, and I was craving Chinese food- but nothing specific. I've been burned by buffet places before mostly because there is a lot of things I do not like. the place is clean, very friendly and when I was there they kept things well stocked where new pans of food were out. I didn't try the Mongolian grill option ( been burned with those too) but I tried the egg rolls crab Rangoon, general tsos chicken, black pepper chicken and Mongolian pork and it was all very tasty. the Rangoon especially was delish as was its sweet and sour sauce. for dessert I had the little sugar donuts and a small dish of ice cream. this was all really good, good quality and the sauces were not too heavy but well made- ie you could tell the difference between the different meals - don't laugh i had a buffet one time that i couldn't in KC. this was very affordable and a nice way to try different kinds of well made chinese dishes. read more

cheap sometimes decent but yesterday i just finished my plate went to go get another and the server took my fork and drink. i asked for them back and he just looked at me like a idiot and i asked how the F am i going to eat this now and he just walked away so i tried to tell the cashier and all she did was hold out her hand wanting money. i told her what happened and she just stood there like a idiot . so i payed and she wouldn't even give me my change. screw this place . on a side note . they store stuff above their make tables in their kitchen. to get it they walk on the make table with their shoes on........................... i saw them doing it last week because the door for the kitchen was broken. read more

Very friendly staff, owner knows us every time we come in. The food is fresh and they cook just enough so it doesn't sit there for awhile, they are always on top of replenishing the food. I love that they have Chinese food for my son that does not care for the Mongolian Grill and The Mongolian Grill for all the rest of us that love love the food.
