Neglected is a form of abuse (read before making a reservation) We dropped off our two dogs, Buddy and Flint, at A Crate Escape (ACE) on April 18th picked them up on the 22nd as soon as they opened in the morning. They both have been to ACE a few times for half-day doggy daycare without any issues. During their recent boarding, Flint was injured and after interacting with the staff afterwards we will not be using ACE again. The pictures are in descending order- from recent to previous days. I spoke to four employees and they were helpful in answering my questions but during my recent conversation with the manager he seemed defensive and calculated in what he said. We were told many conflicting stories on what had happen and on what they are supposed to do concerning notification when a pet gets an injury. The manager, Tom, told me it was just a "little scuff" on the top of Flint's muzzle. It was infuriating to hear that this injury was considered just a little scuff. All the staff blamed Flint for the injury. "He wouldn't stop rubbing his nose against the fence." As you can see in the photos, it took some time for it to become this bad. They have neglected to adequately and judiciously care for Flint's well being. Chelsea, as I said in the email. I think you are missing the point. I never said anything about the boys not having a good time or that precautions are implemented Your staff, in this instance, failed in taking responsibility of Flint's well being. This was not an accident. This was an injury that worsened over 2-3 days. The initial injury is understandable. He caused an abrasion by putting his nose in the fence chain link. Once the injury was noticed, measures should have been implemented to prevent him from doing it repeatedly over the next 1-2 days to minimize the extent of damage to the top of his muzzle. Instead, it got worse over the next 2 days. This issue could have been prevented. When Flint was picked up on Friday morning the wound was raw and seeping blood.

On our way to first day at A Crate Escape to meet new friends. Big sis has not been since brother arrived.

The staff is kind and caring as always. The team that greets and walks dogs back and forth to their canopy covered play areas (separated by dog activity levels / age and request ) when the arrive / leave are so personable and able to manage the dog racing to get to the pack for fun. Price is good and 1/2 days are perfect for my two .

After getting a new puppy we enquired to our vet on the best places to try daycare and boarding to allow our dog to socialize and have a safe place to stay while we are out of town as we have no family in the area. They suggested A Crate Escape in Round Rock. After trying three different places, we stuck with A Crate Escape and have been sending our puppy there 2-3 times per week for daycare and have had him stay overnight roughly 20 days as of him turning 10 months old. I can attest that he has more fun and comes home more tired and content from spending a day at A Crate Escape versus the other centers we tried: Pet Paradise and Camp Bow Wow, both of which were fine, they just didn't provide the perks or behavior benefits that we see from A Crate Escape. Regarding grooming, we have had nail trims and baths administered periodically and are satisfied with those results. (Our dog has short hair and will not need a hair cut) It is nice from a customer experience to walk in the door and the front desk already radio back that "brownie" is here, which makes the experience feel like we are family. Our dog shakes with excitement at the mention of going to play with friends. We will continue to use A Crate Escape with pleasure!

Do they board cats? Are cats kept apart from dogs?

Yes and they are kept in a separate area. They have kitty condos.

The quality of grooming is great and I, as a client, have been treated so well. The customer service is BEYOND. Not just when things are going well, but if ever there is a question or issue, they treat you with such respect and go the extra mile to make sure you're taken care of. These type of people are hard to come by these days and are so appreciated!

Recently, the old cat groomer moved on to other pastures (we wish Kat the VERY BEST with tons of thanks for caring for our critters!) and a new groomer stepped in. She is warm and friendly and our catizens are in her capable and loving hands. I asked for specifically what we wanted (ridiculously silly lion cuts) with the warning that both cats are blind so they need a good deal of physical and audible reassurance. It's always a huge concern with special need seniors that they get the gentle, custom care they require. They came back inside calm and the cuts clean, well shaped and less than we expected to pay. She was quick and friendly. Thank you guys for continuing the high level of care we had come to expect and providing Catbus and Mushu with their ridiculous (my request!) lion cuts. Clean ears and trimmed nails for all. We look forward to next time!

If a friend invited you their dog's birthday party, when you do not have a dog, would you attend?…read more Heck Yes! I jumped at the chance to attend Bella Blu's 6th birthday party. First stop, Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming for Bella to choose her birthday treat. She chose a cake pop, which I treated her to for her birthday. Don't worry...it was a dog cake pop. She also said she wanted a cold brew. Wait...what...a drinking dog?! Say it isn't so. Calm down...it was effectively pumpkin flavored water. Woof Gang Bakery & Grooming is part boutique, part bakery, and part spa. A dog spa...really?! It was apparent to me that Bella is a spa regular. One of the key store attractions is the dog bakery. The dog treat displays are impressive, featuring handcrafted, oven-baked treats, decorated cookies, and custom birthday cakes. According to my friend, they use natural, high quality ingredients. Woof Gang also has premium dog and cat food, toys, accessories, and wellness items. Their grooming services include salon style and personalized baths to full grooms. A dog spa day...OMG...my friend's fur baby is treated better than humans. I guess there is no limit to treating your fur baby. My friend kept laughing at me today because I was in total disbelief that Bella was such a pampered princess. Good for you Bella...happy birthday!!

Even to the point that we were told "her hair is just is such bad shape we need to shave her down to skin". What?! YOU'VE been the one grooming her! I had used Woof Gang for my Pom before he passed away so back to the professionals to work their magic. First was a consult to assess the condition of the pup's fur. You know what? It wasn't as bad as we were told at all! Thanks to review by a professional groomer that's been in the biz for over a decade our fears were calmed. A cut appointment was made and voila, this lil pup is now happy and looks healthy and beautiful after her grooming. They're the only ones that are grooming this pup. Ever!
