I am BEYOND pleased with my overall experience with A1 collision. Customer service: I used their quote feature to find out an estimate on how much it would be to get a stock bumper on my Scion. I was able to get a digital copy of all prices of parts, cost of installation and cost of labor. They were quick in response and transparent about my budget and parts. Service: They were able to give me an estimate on how long it would take to get the parts ordered, installed and painted. It took one extra day, because I ended up needing to get my fenders replaced, after they saw my car in person. Price: From the beginning, A1 asked me what my budget was and worked around it. I did put a deposit down for the parts, but that's wasn't an issue at all! Overall, an amazing business that is upfront with all information. I'm from Sacramento but currently live in Los Angeles. Was not a good experience for me or my insurance company. Such a bad experience that my insurance company has opened a formal complaint with the state and now will be doing random unannounced audits when A-1 bumper is doing insurance work. I brought in my Explorer to have the rear bumper and hatch fixed, the rear bumper was all marked up, there was a scratch and 2 lines of poorly done touch up paint running from the license plate down. I picked it up today and love the job they did, looks perfect. The only issue I had was a wrong emblem was put on the car, it would be appropriate if it was a 2wd, but not for a 4wd. That said, it was the fault of the dealer and when I pointed it out they jumped right on fixing the issue. I am very happy with the quality of work and would go back. I really wish I had a before photo, but I've added after and you cant tell there was any damage. read more

I feel I got played after taking my car here. Brought it it for some front and rear bumper work. They said they could do it, gave me an estimate, and I dropped the car off. 3 hours later they call me back. Said they can't do it and charged me $300 for labor. I reluctantly paid it, otherwise I don't get my keys back. Something felt off about the whole way they do business. I would stay far away from this place. read more

I had an encounter with my garage and I was passing by and saw an open sign at A1. The customer service was absolutely wonderful they greeted me as soon as I open the door ask how they can help and went outside to check the damage when they came back in they continually kept me updated with the progress. Once they provided me the price they said there are also other places you can look at and I said okay. The earliest date I could get was July and that did not sit well with me I think the gentleman looked at my face and saw that. He asked me to wait for a moment he told me he can get me in on Sunday which was 3 days and I was so excited. The gentleman met me at 8:00 a.m. in the morning and gave me an estimated time that it would take Tuesday possibly Wednesday for them to complete and he will follow up with me daily to make sure I was updated on everything that's what I call customer service! I did get a call on Monday and I was surprised to hear that my car was finished he asked when did I have time to come and inspect I told him what time I got off work he said he will be willing to wait a half hour for me to come. The car looks absolutely beautiful I would recommend A1. The main reason is the customer service the communication and going above and beyond. read more

I have never felt the need to review a company, no matter how terrible the service until now. on March 3, I had A1 give me an estimate to replace a 3x3 piece of exterior trim and to push the back corner of my bumper back in. The estimate for a little over 3 hours of work was over $500. I did not check to see if this was high because my mechanic directed me to them and they were close to my home which meant I could walk to them and not worry about Uber or bugging friends for a ride. They could not even schedule me for 7 weeks, but since the work was not imperative I agreed. They never called to tell me the part had come in. I called the Friday before to verify the part was in and the appointment was a go. I had a medical emergency the day of and needed my car so I called to cancel They do not answer their phones so I had to leave a message asking them to call me back so we could reschedule. They never did. I called 4 times in 2 days and they never called back. I finally left a message asking them to let me know when I could come in and get the 3x3 piece of I decided to find another company to do the work and called A1 once again to ask them when I could come get the part ( I had to pay for that up front). Again, no one answered the phone & I had to leave a message. Again no return call. This is 5 messages in 3 days that they never responded to, I finally just walked in to get the part. The man at the front desk did not know anything about the part, but when I told him my name he commented "oh, I have heard your name let me text my manager". Obviously, they had received my messages, talked about the situation and just chose to ignore me. I got the part and left, but with no apologies about the lack of communication or customer service. I imagine my little $500 job was not a big loss to them, but really what about future business or referrals!!!!!!!! Needless to say there will be no referrals, I am writing this review and will be posting on Face Book as well. I have not seen many reviews here and they all seem t be 5's. I'm really pleased with the service here. I had a dent and scrapes on the rear bumper of a 2018 Merceded E300 - it had dug into the plastic of the bumper removing paint and plastic. I called Deva on Monday afternoon, brought it in on Tuesday morning, and had it back Thursday afternoon. The estimate process was really fast and the prices were better than I was expecting. The results were great - you can't tell any work was done and the paint was a perfect match. I hope not to need their services again, but this would be the place I'd take my cars. read more

He said he would take it in the back to check it out. When he brought the car back around, he said they fixed it on the spot. It didn't take long, but what an unexpected surprise. The ladies working at the front desk were so incredibly welcoming and sweet. Even got to see the owner's super friendly loving doggo. They went above and beyond for me because they were going to have to remove the door and one of my window guards I put on would've been lost as it just sticks on the door itself. I've had two great experiences with this business. First repair was fast, competent, and fairly priced. Second time I was expecting a paint job on one whole side of my vehicle and possibly more. Instead, they cleaned off the transferred paint from the other car and charged me nothing. Then they fixed a piece of panel that had popped out and again no charge. I was having a bit of a hard day and pulled out of a parking spot when half of my bumper was pulled off by a parking stopper and was dragging on the ground. I managed to semi prop it up enough to drive to the nearest body shop. By the time I got there by bumper was dragging again. I walked in to A-1 collision and bumper and began to cry of frustration as I told the staff what was happening. I paid $1,697.78 for a car that looks like an orange peel. They had my car for way too long for it to look this terrible. The only compliment I got was some people wondering if I had some kids in high school do the job. Door panels were not put on properly and it appears that they put baby oil or something near the pedal so that I may slip and have an accident. This ridiculous substance is causing my feet to slip while I'm driving. I'm way too afraid to take my car back to them they can keep the money and keep the bad karma that comes with it.
