    The company texted me confirmed appointment, called day prior telling me they'd call when technician is coming, called day of and told me his eta. Plumber Quinn was quick to know the issue, had the tools and parts needed to repair, he checked his work after and we ran the dishwasher also to make sure repair was made properly! Plumber Quinn was nice, personable, professional and made suggestions about faucet also ! Thank your for the fast service that put me at ease! Price was a decent value as well and explained prior to repair !

    Larry from A1 showed up today to install a 30-amp generator tie-in, and he was great--super friendly and really took the time to explain the work he was quoting and what he was going to do. I had already purchased all of my own equipment, and A1 had no issue with that. So many contractors I contacted either refused to install customer-provided equipment or tried to tack on huge upcharges. I had multiple electricians come out and quote outrageous prices, but A1 was practical, transparent, and willing to work with me. The job was done cleanly and quickly. 10/10 would recommend. This is actually the second project I've booked through the Yelp Projects section--both solid experiences.

    I submitted a request for a quote to have an electrical outlet in my primary bathroom repaired/replaced. A1 promptly responded and sent a technician the next day. Carmen was my technician and immediately diagnosed my problem which only confirmed what I assumed was the problem. I had to have my electrical panel replaced and some work done on the other bathroom outlets. All work was completed from start to finish within 3 hours. I decided to finance the repair/replacement ans was approved and had all the documents signed relatively quickly. There were different warranty options to choose from and surge protection was included in my package I chose. I had this exact work quoted 3 years ago and was quoted much higher from another company. I habe since had one other quote and A1 was still cheaper but more comparable to the 2nd quote I received. Th Extremely pleased with the financing, the work, and the service provided!

First: Competitors I got several estimates - My home warranty's contractor, Home Depot/ARS, a friend's husband, and Richmond's Air. Richmond's Air was the most reasonable price among all estimates, even the friend! He also took less than 30 minutes to take a look and give me an estimate. Home Depot was here for hours and gave me a presentation and ultimately an unbelievably high price which they later slashed by $4k when I said I wouldn't choose them. Still too high, also weird that they were gonna charge $4k extra? Second: Communication/Punctuality James told me a reasonable window of time that the team would arrive and also when they'd complete the job. They gave me a call beforehand to let me know they were running a little late, regardless the job was done on time (same day). They replaced everything but my furnace. Finally: Service The team was friendly and explained anything I asked about and even helped me install my new thermostat. They put a drop cloth down from the front door to the AC and left minimal dust or mess. They also gave me the manuals for the equipment as well as told me about the 10 year warranty. This was all a month ago and my AC has been working perfectly since and air quality reads way cleaner than when I moved in. Dealing with a broken AC in Houston is horrible and I highly recommend reaching out to Richmond's Air instead of wasting time shopping for multiple other quotes. Maybe get one other one and compare, you'll see the difference. Price, service, and quality were great. Would definitely call again for my next home.

    I had Ruben (a guy with knee problem and a limp) come over to check a condo HVAC. He suggested a…read moretakedown of the entire system from the ceiling to determine if there was a Freon leak (found none, but charged me $500 without a receipt). He then proceeded to the roof (where the compressor is) and determined that the capacitor is bad (changed). He also said that there is a leak, as the Freon was empty. We had set the next day for his next visit to fill the system with Freon and add a dye (a leak detector), but did not show up after multiple calls. Got a different company for a recheck. The Freon was full, and there was a fuse removal/disconnect (in the control box next to the compressor) that was obviously done by Ruben (no one touched the system since the original installation). And guess what: the system fired up once the fuse was connected, and started cooling like a charm. In summary: Ruben obviously tampered with the power supply to make it look as if the system was dead. There was no need for take down of the coil cover to check for leaks, there was no leak, and the Freon was full. The guy is a liar and a fraud. Don't let him get close to your house. If there was an option for negative stars, I would give him - minus 10.

Get story in perspective: Sister-in-law is care giver for husband. Home was designed by him 45 years ago. Like us things fail , like our home furnace's. He said you really need to fix the furnace. The gas company had already turned off the gas to the unit in fear of a serious problem resulting. He wasn't allowed to turn it back on and said she had to have another furnace. We got wind of the entire situation here in Tulsa. OK, and reached out to Smart Air management. I was instructed to contact their individual in the field. After explaining who I was, he was very very helpful in working with me in getting a new furnace ordered and installed TODAY! Young mans name is Pete! I'll be forever appreciative of his professionalism. He handling all my calls and did exactly what was needed. Less than 24 hours after contacting Smart Air, they installed the furnace complete. Smart Air deserves 6 STARS! Caring gets Pete an extra Star! Oh by the way, they worked so well with me, they gave me a discount and tore up the check for the initial house call.

I explained my issue and they had a technician come out less than 90 mins later. My technician was Pete and he went to work right away. Pete was able to fix my issues & the repair did not break my bank. Pete was beyond professional and I would recommend Smart Air on his customer service alone. Hoping I never have to call Smart Air again but if I do I will be in good hands. This service was worth the value.
