My first time here and it certainly won't be my last! Everything was delicious and the experience was good. Tables are socially distant and servers wear mask. Passing through Indianapolis, traveling with my dog and we had breakfast on the patio here. They were so kind and welcoming and even brought Bear (my pup) a water bowl. Biscuits and gravy- excellent, Portuguese sausage- delicious, coconut rice- wow! Ashley was our server, and she was soooooo helpful. On top of the great food, she made it an even better experience! They should look into cloning her! P.S. they also have a $7 daily lunch special. If I worked in this area, I would definitely be there a couple of times a week! read more

I have driven by this place probably a hundred times. Recently a friend and I made plans for brunch and she said let's go to A2Z. It's close to where we live so I was all in. We arrived around noon on a Saturday. We were told it would be a 25 minute away but we got seated after about 10 minutes. The menu is quite large and it was difficult to narrow down what we wanted. After we ordered, a waitress walked by with their cinnamon fried biscuits served with Apple butter so we added on an order of those. Very similar to Biscuit Loves bonuts if you've been in TN. DELICIOUS. I always struggle ordering breakfast because all the sweet items sound so good but the hearty / savory dishes keep me fuller longer so this was the perfect amount of sweet. I ordered the Tator Tot Scramble because it had several components - eggs, meat, cheese, tots and gravy! I didn't feel like I was missing out on anything. It was also delicious. The portion was huge so I took half home and ate it later because it was so tasty! My bill was around $15 because I paid for the biscuits. I will definitely return to other things, or maybe get that scramble again!! read more

I can't believe I haven't been here yet!!! Came here for brunch this morning - they were pretty busy but the service was still good and my food was delicious. I had the California omelet with bacon, tomato and American cheese, topped with avocado slices. This was one of the best omelets I've had. They were generous with the tomato and bacon and the cheese was perfectly melting. The eggs were cooked well too. I wasn't planning to eat all the potatoes but I did! The fruit cup was good too - fresh with melons and berries. I'll definitely return. read more

I can't believe I've never been to A2Z Cafe. The environment, people and food is everything I want in a regular breakfast spot. Sit at the bar. Chat with Gina (who is the owner, although every person working was incredibly genuine and efficient). She genuinely wants her customers to enjoy the food and have a good experience. I had the Loco Moco: eggs and a hamburger patty on a bed of rice and covered in gravy. I've never had a breakfast like this and it was warm, filling and unique. She bakes all desserts from scratch or buys them locally. You need to experience this place. read more

The next time someone asks to go somewhere good for breakfast - this is going to be my recommendation. I typically have my favorite go-to breakfast place (which, I do), but I'm ALWAYS excited to discover and equally delicious breakfast place - and that happened to be A2Z Cafe. I was fortunate to celebrate my 30th birthday a few days early at this restaurant. A group of friends gathered and we had mimosas and a lovely selection of breakfast goodies. I opted for their "Classic Breakfast," which is always a favorite option of mine. Eggs, bacon and toast - what more could you want? At the end of our brunch, I was surprised with the most delicious and chocolate filled waffle treat. Wow - so good. It was homemade and on the house. The staff and my friends then sang happy birthday to me - and you know what? My day was complete. :) I'm so very glad that A2Z got to be a part of this year 30 celebration. read more

We have been coming to A2Z Cafe since we moved here 6 years ago. It is our favorite breakfast place. The food is fresh and full of flavor. I love the A2Z omelette, the border omelette and the tator tot scramble. My children eat every single bite and sometimes lick their plates. My husband doesn't enjoy breakfast food too much (shame on him) but he loves the tator tot scramble and the cinnamon bread French toast. Gina and Tom always greet us warmly and ate so kind to the kids. This is truly a mom and pop home feel place, it is often full of regulars where people know each other's names. read more

In a strip mall area surrounded by chain restaurants, it was nice to find an independent cafe that had good food and a nice vibe. You will notice lots of art on the walls in the dining room. The noise level, even when busy, is conducive for conversation. And the food is approachable and tasty. I ordered the Carolina Mustard Pulled Pork with a side of fries. The Pork itself was great. Just enough bark to add that extra bit of flavor to the large pieces of meat. (This isn't shredded like some other places.) Although I really liked the sandwich, I didn't thin the sauce was Carolina Mustard...it was dark brown and sweet without the acidity from a typical mustard bbq. Still, it was good. My wife opted to try the Chili "Mac Doggie" which is a bed of macaroni, topped with a spicy chili and a 1/4# hot dog. I was surprised that she liked it since she normally doesn't care for spicy food. I tasted it and upon first tasting, the bite was rather bland (tasting the mac first), but at the swallow, the heat of the chili ramped up quickly to a noticeable level. I won't say it was my favorite flavor of chili, but it definitely met the description of spicy. The servers were attentive, but would sometimes disappear from the floor to pick up their food from the kitchen. Sometimes, every front end person was missing from the floor. Although they were very friendly and welcoming, they tended to make a lot of unnecessary trips (like not clearing an empty plate while making a water refill run.) We did experience a long delay from the time we sat down until our food was delivered (we noticed other tables asking too.) We arrived right around noon and there was a rush of people at the same time, so I think it was a case of bad timing for the small kitchen. It's not fast food, so if you go, allow time for dining. Great brunch. I got the Hawaiian Benedict which was unique, and I feel like that's a hard challenge for breakfast food anymore! The waitress suggested I get the spicier sausage which was an excellent move for the dish as well. My friend got the tater tot scrambler, and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a crumb left on either of our plates. The manager checked in with our table, and our server was delightful. I'm surprised it's taken me so long to discover this place. A2Z is a nice mixture of traditional and adventurous. If you want a traditional breakfast or lunch, you'll find it here. If you're looking for something a little more daring, you'll also find that here. Although I'm more of a traditional breakfast kind of guy, I tried one of the Hawaiian breakfasts, and it was fantastic! Everything was so perfectly done, I was quite happy with it. Nice little mom and pop joint on the north side of town across the street from the aggregate mining pit. Great atmosphere and vibe this little jewel has artwork from local artists hanging on the walls. The menu is versatile but simple and has both lunch and breakfast available. A Fantastic place to have breakfast and coffee. My Wife and I traveled from Florida so I could play in Masters Basketball Tournament . She found this cafe through Yelp and reviews were spot on. It's been six months since my first and second time visiting (there have been many during that time!) and I just have to mention their tuna melt and their Reuben. They're both just so good! And of course, the service is amazing. I'm slightly upset I'm off on a Monday when they're closed because I just adore visiting on my days off for the best breakfasts I've ever had. I had to drop my Acura off for service so since I was near A2Z cafe, I thought my husband and I could pop in for breakfast instead of hanging out in the auto service lounge. We were pleasantly greeted upon entry and quickly seated. I decided on the all American breakfast which consisted of perfectly cooked over easy eggs, potatoes, crispy bacon, and toast. My husband had the chicken fried steak with gravy, potatoes, eggs, and pan fried cinnamon biscuits. Our food was delivered to our table quickly considering how busy the restaurant was at the time, hot, and exactly as ordered. My husband is picky about his food, but thoroughly enjoyed his meal. He mentioned several times how perfectly his meat, eggs, and even potatoes were cooked. He rarely eats potatoes, yet found the breakfast potatoes Irresistible, as did I. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. We were impressed how home cooked everything tasted. wIt's amazing to me how many restaurants get breakfast wrong. Not A2Z! This is such a cute cafe! The food is amazing and staff is friendly. I got the chance to meet Gina, one of the owners the first time I came in and she is so welcoming. She suggested the biscuits and gravy with two over easy eggs on it as well as the loco moco. The biscuits and gravy is made fresh daily and you can definitely tell because the biscuits were nice and fluffy. The eggs added an extra creamy yolk flavor really enhancing the dish. My boyfriend had the loco moco and it is something you have to come hungry for because it is a heavier dish. There is coconut flavor rice with a hamburger patty smothered in a brown gravy topped with two over easy eggs. It was outstanding and I never would have expected it to be as good as it was. I'm glad that we stumbled upon this place because I think I am going to become a regular. I really enjoy the atmosphere. I recently bought my siblings here when they were in town and being picky eaters as they are, they loved it. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays they also serve dinner and have special on wines! History

Established in 2004.

A2Z Cafe was originally founded by Ashraf B. in 2004 as an Italian eatery. In 2007, it morphed into a breakfast and lunch spot. But after 25 years in the restaurant industry, Ash's plan was to retire the café. As the time drew near to its final days, Gina and Tom Rosenow, who were long time diners, bought A2Z in the fall of 2014. The thought of losing yet another independent, Mom & Pop restaurant to "the chains", triggered their quick and bold decision. Gina, a mural and faux finish artist, and Tom, a maintenance specialist, transformed the quaint cafe into a quirky but cozy, welcoming space for everyone to enjoy great food, great company and some unique, eclectic local artwork.Bonus, as a nod to Gina’s Asian heritage, the Café had a selection of Hawaiian favorites...Spam & Rice anyone? Gina & Tom Rosenow are Indy residents who search out the proverbial "Mom & Pop" local businesses wherever their journeys take them. Passionate about food as well, when the opportunity to purchase A2Z Cafe happened in 2014, they decided they would join the "Mom & Pop" movement themselves. Gina continues her primary business as a professional mural & faux finish artist and Tom maintains his business doing maintenance and remodeling for residential & commercial rental properties.

The best thing that I ate though were the two side dishes, the Robichon potatoes were so smooth and creamy and delicious and I usually don't like creamy potatoes I usually like lumpy potatoes and the sticky coconut rice I will be eating for lunch today as I had a little bit of it leftover. We both ordered the Mille Fuille for dessert and we both agreed that that dessert was a miss. It was way too dry. Next time we will try Cookie n Milk. We will stop in here again and try different dishes next time.

We were seated in a private room for our meal, which was perfect with a big group. The staff was very friendly and helpful, making sure that everybody had any questions answered. I appreciate that we were given to wait staff for our group size which made things move very fast and efficiently. They have some great lunch offerings and deals to get the most out of the menu. I really liked the lunch combo with the shrimp cocktail, their homemade sauce really packs a punch! We also had a special birthday and they were able to bring out a dessert for our birthday girl, and that was a great part of the experience as well.

I wish I could remember the waitress's name because she was awesome. 2 toasted ravioli. 2 shrimp cocktails. I ordered the Izzy Style New York Strip and I wouldn't orders it again. The steak is so good here and all this pepper and sauce isn't needed.

BODHI has a very cool vibe as well, we sat on the back patio which had plenty of greenery and decorations, it was absolutely stunning! The food at bodhi is some of the best Thai food I have had in all of Indianapolis. The drunken noodles were tender and delicious as well as the chicken was super flavorful . My girlfriend got one of the curry's and she loved it as well. We also ordered the crab puffs which were perfectly crispy, sweet and had just the right a mound of crab flavor. Overall incredible experience at body with excellent stuff and service, i will definitely be going back!
