We just used AAA to get a heat pump and after buying a house, its the best money we've ever spent. The heat pump is super quiet and maintains our home at a constant temperature using electricity instead of gas. We also were able to get a discount for paying upfront instead of financing and because our home already had ducts throughout. AAA was able to get our installation completed at a sooner date than other companies were able to schedule an estimate. They text you 30 minutes before technicians arrive with a picture of themselves and a short bio so that you know who to expect. They've all put on shoe covers and either masked or told me they were vaccinated and offered to put one on anyway. Employees on the phone and technicians in person have been very courteous and professional as well. It's obvious that they take pride in what they do and that the company holds their employees to high standards. Definitely a company I will support and recommend. read more

Wow! I was very impressed by every single aspect of service from AAA heating. From the phone call with the receptionist who answered my questions, gathered data and accurately confirmed what specific kinds of services they offered and equipment they serviced, to the professional who communicated extensively with me before the appointment and also came out to perform the service. We had a Daikin heat pump that had been malfunctioning for a year. We had contacted another company closer to us that had positive reviews on yelp, however that company led us on for MONTHS promising us appointments that never materialized. Finally that other company admitted to us they don't service Daikin. We called AAA heating and confirmed they serviced Daikin. I was able to provide the exact model number to the AAA receptionist and she told me a technician would contact me. Levi emailed me the same day with specific instructions on how to get the unique error codes from the system, with his help I was able to pull the error codes and email them to him. He was professional and assisted me via email and phone several times. With the error codes they were able to make a good determination about what the issue was likely to be and thanks to an opening in their schedule from a cancelation they fit me in the same week, before the dreaded heat wave. Before the appointment we got a text introducing the tech so we would know who to expect, which was helpful. Levi himself came out and he was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He extensively tested the system and did not try to upsell us on anything, in fact, we actually approached him about performing some additional maintenance on the system which he was able to fit in. He communicated with us every step of the way and explained everything he was doing and showed us diagnostic results and photos from our attic. In the end the cost was very reasonable. Levi and AAA heating exceeded our expectations and we will continue to use them for all our HVAC needs. I highly recommend anyone and everyone give them a call. As a first time homeowner (and probably even after) there's always trepidation when you hire someone to come and fix or look at something with your house. Are they going to try and upsell you something, over charge, take advantage of your ignorance etc? They gave me an estimate on some ductwork and explained all the possibilities, they were on time, they were polite and followed all the Covid 19 protocols. I'm just going to leave my experience here and you judge for yourself: 10/26 Aaa comes out to do diagnostic of furnace issue Quotes me pricing options for new gas valve. and I let him know I would call him and let him now if I wanted to go through with the job. Emailed me a bill for the diagnostic and said he would email me the findings but never did. 10/28 called aaa to inform them I would go through with the quote. AAA told me they would reach out to the rep and let him know. 10/30 called aaa to check the status of my repair. Was told I'd get a call back with the update (which I never received) person told me they could see my part had been ordered and I'd get a call back when time to schedule 11/1 (I call every 2 days) Person on phone told me they saw no part ordered and that he will forward this to his supervisor. Hr later.. I receive a call from the technician (that came on 10/26) he apologized for not reaching out sooner and blamed it on the new system (which I had been hearing each time I called) During this call... he informed me that he would order the part but the price was misquoted and was about 150 more for the complete fix. (The gas valve needed a second part for a complete fix) I told him I'll just go with another provider. He apologized again and asked if there's anything he could do to win the job back for the company. I told him he could discount the diagnostic fee charge from 10/26 on the upcoming work order. He called his supervisor, called me back, and informed me that he could do that for me. He sent me over forms to sign. And I made the new payment via cc for 750. He then told me I would get a call next week after the part arrived, and I Can expect to have it fixed by next week. 11/4 I noticed the charge hit my credit card and called AAA to make sure it was normal that someone is charged BEFORE the actual work was done. She told me that sometime it's paid for before/ and sometimes after the repair. 11/9 still haven't received a call or any update from AAA. I called the person that came out on 10/26 He told me he couldn't see anything on his end and for me to call the office. I called The office and again. They said my part wasn't there as far as they knew. This was it for me. I then asked for a refund and they told me that they would have someone from the finance dept contact me. She called and tried to get me not to refund but I told her I was unable to continue to go through this process with this company. She said I should have my refund in a few business days and email me something showing I would get it. (never happened) 11/10 I called the office to let them know I didn't get an email about my requested refund. She said that she didn't see anything (shocker) and that she would reach out herself to make sure it gets done. Back to 11/9*** I called "another company" after I requested my refund with AAA. They were at my house 2 hrs later. I told them it AAA said it was the gas valve... the mechanic looked into it, confirmed it was the valve, called the office for the status on the part. Someone drove the part over and the mechanic fixed the heat within 30 mins of getting it. So the "other company" did in 4 hrs, what I had been trying to get done from AAA since 10/28!!! 11/12 I get an email reminding me I have a service request for 11/13 ?? So I called again!!! To let them know I have no service request and that I need my refund 11/14 I call and ask about my refund again. A lady finally emails me and lets me know that it's processing but it was 11 dollars shy of what I paid. I called back to ask why, she informed me I signed up for their yearly maintenance plan (11 a month) I informed her I had no work done and I want no parts of that plan. She adjusted the refund amount back to the full amount. 11/17 finally got my refund!!! I'm done!! read more

Several weeks ago, I scheduled to have my furnace and heat pump cleaned and inspected today 6-17-24. When I called, I requested the same technician who has been to my house several times and was told that if he wasn't available on 6-17-24 someone would let me know. I never heard back so i assumed the technician that I requested would be coming today. At 4PM today 6-17-24 I received a call letting me know the technician was on his way and confirming that I wanted service today. If I were going to be 2 hrs late when I have given someone a 4 hour window, I would simply text the customer letting them know I am running late. I understand jobs can take longer than planned, I understand people call in sick and then you might be understaffed what I don't understand is NO communication. The technician I requested won't be coming today because apparently, he is on vacation. Great job scheduling dept. Lucky for them I paid to replace the furnace and heat pump with them several months ago or they would NOT be getting my business. read more

Although the technician that came out to check my HVAC unit was punctual and friendly, overall I feel the "tune-up" service is essentially a scam. I called in asking for pricing and availability for BOTH furnace and heat pump to which the scheduler stated a flat-rate of $139. What they didn't specify was it was for EACH- heat OR cool, not both. Of course I found out about that miniscule detail when the tech was finished with the service... $600 later. Also, it was recommended that I had a part from my blower motor replaced because of an abnormal reading and the noise it was making. The part was replaced, the reading was "better," but the noise was still there... go figure. I guess this is the cost of selling a house... read more

I decided on AAA specifically because of their level of customer service, customer support and the equipment ratings they had to offer. In 2019 I added air conditioning after AAA discounted the evaporator coil & installation of the AC when they replaced my furnace. Hands down - THE very best decision I'd ever made on a large appliance and the company to keep it in good shape. We had this company do our annual air conditioner maintenance. The worker did a great job. She was here for about an hour and did all kinds of things to clean up and maintain the compressor and fan. Afterwards, we noticed that the AC was working much better/cooler than it was before. We signed up for the annual package that includes 2 maintenance visits per year, one for AC and one for furnace. Given a window between 8:30-5 and was told I'd be getting a text or email when the tech was about 30 minutes out. When I hadn't heard anything at 5pm, I called and was told that my appointment was bumped so they could attend more urgent customers. Taking care of others without heat is totally understandable but not contacting me isn't okay. A simple 1 minute phone call would have been appreciated. read more

I had a pretty good experience with AAA. All the members of staff I worked with were professional, kind, and compassionate. They explained everything clearly so I knew what to expect and delivered on installing a new heat pump, ductwork, and a couple other miscellaneous items. All at a fair price. Matthew especially showed he cares about his customers. The only negative part of the experience was having to deal with some big design mistakes and misleading information from Steve, the person who sold us on the design he proposed. This led to delays and having to upgrade our electric service when we were told we wouldn't need to. AAA owned up to everything, however, and ultimately redeemed themselves. read more

I looked this company up via Yelp. They schedule for a same day diagnosis. Michael came in between the time window given. He texted a picture of what he looks like before coming in with a little introduction about himself, which I thought was nice. I texted and asked if he could wear protective footwear and he did every time he re-entered the house. I called for them to come and look at my furnace but my AC unit was also broken (My husband accidentally hit a wire with a weed wacker), which Michael gladly took a look at. He fixed our furnace (a fuse was blown) within 30 minutes. He tried to figure out the best/cheapest way to fix the AC (pigtailing the wire back) but it didn't work, which took another hour and a half. He will have to come back another time with the correct material to fix the AC. He came at around 4:30 and left around 7:15. The bill totaled to $813 for both today and his future visit for the AC, including discounts from signing up for a maintenance plan ($16/month) that will have them come out twice a year to tune up our furnace. Without the discount for signing up for the maintenance plan it'd have been $1020. We were quoted for $99 plus tax for just the diagnosis before he came. Overall, Michael was very professional and personable. The price (which he doesn't set, the company does) is a bit overwhelming for us since we didn't expect to pay that much to replace a fuse and a wire. Pro: quick response, professional, clean Con: expensive Update: the company called the next morning to schedule a return visit to fix the AC unit. They also gave us a small refund!! Showed that they cared about their customers, especially during this pandemic. Great and professional customer service on the phone and in person as always. read more

Where do I start?! First, we had Steve who came and gave these first time home owners a great/reasonable quote for a new unit. He took his time explaining the process, what to expect, what we should be looking for in a unit and in a heating and cooling company. His kindness and patience with all our questions was so appreciated! This one covers additional service history done by Glendale Heating in the past. That makes 3 STICKERS defacing ALL previous history (other than their own) of work done on my furnace. We have been AAA customers for many, many years, but in the last year (after they merged with Southwest Plumbing) we have seen a drastic drop in service. We pay for twice yearly maintenance on our furnace and AC. This year AAA came in February then over 7 months later ( not 6) our appointment for October 14th was cancelled by phone at 4:50 pm, when we had been expecting service between 2:00-5:00 p.m. A new appointment was scheduled for October 28th (now 8 months since our last service) with a window of 12:00-5:00 p.m. We got a call at 12:50 stating that our appointment was now cancelled because "other customers had no heat." We could understand this situation if it was the dead of winter and 30 degrees outside, but the temperature on October 28th was in the upper 50s, and our cancellation call came within the first hour of the service time window. How could AAA possibly know that they would have no technicians available to perform our service over the next four hours? We are doubtful that AAA really intended to keep our appointment on October 28th. We believe the preventative maintenance customers are given the lowest possible priority with AAA, and are pushed back and pushed back to the point where they will give up trying to get these appointments. Guess long term customers are not as profitable as new ones, so they are ignored, yet AAA keeps collecting their monthly preventative maintenance payments. read more

Steve, our estimator was very professional and the process was the most thorough of all of the contractors whom had previously provided estimates. While not the lowest estimate, the recommended equipment and installation appears the most appropriate and convenient for our needs and is overall the best value. Do not hire! My husband and I used to love this company, but they have since gone downhill. We paid for a service that should have taken a day, but it resulted with us not having heat for two days because the technician didn't show up not once, but twice in a row without even letting us know. My husband was forced to miss a day of work because of it. I have been trying to get in contact with someone for over a month to resolve the issue. They don't call back despite my concerns being "escalated" to a manger and a director. I was informed by the tech that timeline isn't part of their service, so I guess as long as the project gets done eventually, they consider that good service. Jerome the AAA estimator went way far and above expectations to provide us great mini split option as well as did research to find additional utility rebates. We needed more work done than just an installation as part of the project so chose another company despite AAA being our first choice. Unfortunately it seems it was a miscommunication and they could have completed all we needed but we had already paid a substantial deposit to another company before we discovered that. Jerome was disappointed but still shared information that helped us get a rebate he discovered. That is an incredibly generous gesture and speaks to the character of Jerome. We ended up with a much bumpier installation with the company that did our installation and although it is all good now I do wish we had been able to move forward with AAA and Jerome. AAA Heating and Air checked all the boxes and we gave them a call and got an appointment within days with a 2 hour window. First, Joe sent a message with his picture and a short bio followed by a call saying he was on his way. He was very clear in explaining every step he was taking, and performed the following work: Recovered and weighed refrigerant and found it only had 1lb in it. After recovery he pressurized it with nitrogen and the system held tight. Recharged the refrigerant to the factory charge. System charge low by 3lbs.
