Well this was a massive let down. The pictures on the billboards make this pizza look better...sooo much better. I dont care that its Covid. People are hungry and well resturants should be feeding us dammit! I was in town for work and stayed at the Holiday Inn and I felt like some pizza. It smelled up my room so incredibly bad when it arrived I went and asked the front desk for Air freshener before I even had a bite. The toppings seemed weird. I literally ate 2 bites and walked my pizza down the hall and threw it away in the trash out front by the doors. I felt mad because I wasted money and I was still hungry...starving now at this point. My favorite pizza in the area! I love their personal size cheese pizza. It's not too small but not too big to have leftovers that go to waste (not a fan of leftover pizza). My parents always get whatever special they have going on and have always been pleased. We usually pick up the pizza to take home but we have dined in a couple of times, and both were pleasant experiences. It's a very casual atmosphere and the staff has always been friendly. The only bummer is it's somewhat pricey. It's totally worth it but unfortunately because of it, I can't eat it as often as I'd like. read more

I used to love this pizza, absolute favorite pizza, so I was excited we were getting a chance to stop in there tonight. We got wings, pizza and salad bar. I was happy with the salad bar, everything looked good. The wings we did a mix of hot and BBQ. They were just the oven ones, and apparently this week it is a theme do me, but flabby as well. The BBQ is a basic bagged one, I couldn't do it and passed them to my husband. The hot, also seems like a bagged thing, they were not hot at all, but okay enough to finish. We got our pizza, half hawaiian/pepperoni, sausage. I was so sad at first bite, the crust has definitely changed. I couldn't put my finger on it, but after I grabbed the second slice, I kind of think it reminded me of a thin cracker or wafer, it had a smooth feel to it and very thin. The sauce, I thought of Tombstone or Red Baron right away. I was so disappointed to have tasted all the change. I won't be going back to Abby's anytime soon. Today was our first time eating here. We arrived around 11:15am. Ordering was friendly & quick. Maybe 25 others arrived within 10 minutes of us. The restaurant was clean, inviting and comfortable. Our pizza came (half & half), and it was delicious! Thin crispy crust - which is our favorite -, really good sausage & pepperoni. Best pizza we have found in the area. Was visiting family and my sister said she was thinking of getting pizza for dinner, never had Abby's before so wasn't sure what it was gonna be like. I was shocked how good it was!!! Tastes just like Round Table pizza which has always been my absolute favorite. So now I can say Abby's is my other favorite pizza place! It costs about the same as Round Table, but when pizza tastes this good it's worth the price! I highly recommend the Garlic Chicken pizza, we added spinach too it and perfecto! So damn delicious!!! Every time I eat at Abby's, I weep with frustration and anger that there is not a location where I live, on the west side of Portland (okay, in the burbs of Beaverton). Abby's has the perfect, crisp, never flimsy crust that I crave crave crave. Luckily, the bf's dad lives in Redmond, so I was able to sate my craving on a visit a few days ago with far too many slices of pepperoni and canadian bacon. The sauce is zesty without being overly spiced, and I am never quite able to understand how they are able to make a delicious pizza without it dripping with grease. Oh, I'm not thinking this is health food or anything - just not covered with that nasty yellow grease that is hallmark of pizza joints everywhere.The cheese appears to be all white cheese, none of that bullshit cheddar/American. Abby's is spicy, crunchy, savory, and cheesy all in one. The Redmond location had quick, friendly service and a clean, well-stocked and tasty salad bar. Add a pitcher of beer = me so happy. Dammit, now I want Abby's. I'm back home in Beaverton......nearest Abby's is Gresham or Newberg, but that's a 45 minute drive (each way) well spent. read more

I have been a fan of Abby's Legendary Pizza since Chico's in North Portland closed (many moons ago). I am especially fond of the staff at the Redmond, OR location. Recently, I had the pleasure of picking up lunch and was greeted by a dude named Brian-my pizza chef. I want to thank Brian for his extra courteous and efficient service. Life long Abby's lover. As prices have gone up toppings no longer go to the edge. This is not one off either. I have been to this location 6 or 7 times and the consistent holes of toppings making the pizza dry and unappetizing is so disappointing. The switch to prepackaged ranch was a big step down too. Abby's offers gluten free pizzas in multiple sizes and guess what, you pay the same price as a regular pizza! This rarely happens at any restaurant. Anyway, I had the Sicilian Pizza which featured a white garlic sauce, sausage, veggies and garlic. The toppings were plentiful and the crust was crispy and perfectly cooked. The ultimate test was whether I felt good after eating the pizza -- I can assure you that I am incredibly sensitive to any amount of gluten that comes into contact with my food and so I believe they did an excellent job of preventing cross-contamination. read more

The delivery driver was so rude and was cussing at us and telling us how it was not his fault and he was the only driver that night after putting our pizza on our garbage can outside, this was all after an 1.5 hour wait for our pizza on a Tuesday night, (the driver sure seemed intoxicated) after the driver treating us disrespectfully he took our pizza and chicken wings and speed away down our neighborhood street. We contacted the store that evening and was told the manager would not be in until the next morning, by the next afternoon we still had no return call from him as we were promised. When we called to contact with him our self the manager himself was just as rude as the driver was the night before and offered no apologies just told us that his driver would not do that. We ordered the linguica and the BBQ for the family visiting. It was made and delivered very quickly. The Liguica was almost perfect, the BBQ was ok. The BBQ sauce could have been a little bit better. We walked into Abby's last night after a day in the lake hungry for pizza . Ordering was prompt and the girl taking our order was friendly and that's where the good experience stopped. After ordering, we noticed that LITERALLY every single empty table was filthy with dirty dishes and food that had not been cleaned up. Keep in mind that the place was at about 25% capacity. There was not a single clean table in the place. There was food all over the floor that had been stepped on and kicked around and the salad bar looked like a farm animal had eaten at it, a complete mess with empty buckets and food scattered and mixed all about with dirty serving utensils lay about. We saw two other groups talking about how there was no clean place to sit and that the place was filthy. I asked so see the manager, a cocky smart ass named shawn. When I told him that there was no place to sit because all the tables were dirty, he said " we're busy right now and doing what we can" then smirked, snickered in my face and walked away ignoring me when I asked him to come back. I asked the girl to send him back out immediately . Apparently Shawn was doing more important things than dealing with his filthy restaurant and unhappy customers to be bothered. When he finally wandered back out chewing on something he was eating it was prolly ten minutes later. It was pretty obvious that he was making a point that he would come back when he was good and ready and had no intention of offering an apology or explanation. We demanded our money back. Shawn being the cool guy that he thinks he is, said " fine " tapped a few buttons on his computer screen and then Flipped my return receipt at me from across the counter , smirked again and walked off again . I wish I had caught it on video to post here but the beauty of it is that the two groups that did witness it , walked out behind us. I'm not sure how on earth this little punk Shawn got to ever be in a position of management but if your restaurant is a filthy mess, your customer service means nothing to you and you have groups of customers walking out, buddy you ain't managing a thing. You are an empty paycheck. If being asked to clean one of your discussing tables so someone can sit is too much for you, maybe you shouldn't be in the restaurant business . For me, Shawn's lousy attitude , obvious dis concern for the disgusting state of the restaurant on his shift and his complete,total lack of any sort of customer service and is representative overall of what you can probably expect here. Keep in mind, Shawn is their TOP GUY on the shift and the guy in charge of the overall quality of your food and dining experience. I cant imagine what the kitchen must look like or the quality control must be. Btw, we went to Round Table which was spotless and had a nice meal for less money. read more

Tonight Abby's was very disappointing. It took 1:40 for our pizza to be delivered. We ordered via internet and were given an estimated delivery time of 45 mins. After an hour I called to check on the status and I was told, "It was out for delivery and should arrive soon". After another 25 mins I called again. And again I was given the same answer of it being out for delivery and should arrive soon. After another 15 mins, my boyfriend called and he was given the same "canned" answer. He asked to speak to a manager and the manager told him that they were busy and that he would comp the order. As the jinx would have it, the order was delivered as my boyfriend was on the phone with the manager. I can understand unusually busy times at a delivery restaurant, but the customer service could only be described as polite. To sum this up, the pizza arrived over twice as long as predicted and it had (as predicted) arrived cold. I hope the manager I talked to upholds his word by refunding the order. read more
