By far the best installation company I have been able to deal with. Called in on a Monday early afternoon to inquire about getting a measurement done for my stove top and the associate I spoke with was able to squeeze me into having it done later in the afternoon. I arrived after a long day at work only to find out the two techs arrived on time as previously noted. They measured my countertop within minutes and asked if I wanted my equipment installed. I was SURPRISED and yes heck yes!!! I asked how long it would take then and they informed more under an hour and a half. APPROVED! I was able to continue to live my life while they went to town on getting my old stovetop out and the new one in. Once done I saw they cleaned up after themselves, showed me the stovetop working and my old one boxed up leaving the door...and it took them 45 minutes!! Just awesome!! The techs were Frank and Chuy. By far the best duo I've seen work together without issues and I'm glad I found ABC Appliances!! Thank you to your honest amazing professional team!!! After dealing with 2 deliveries from the Geek Squad (Best Buy) which were terrible, unfinished installations, Best Buy sent out ABC to finish off the installation of our Washer Dryer. Kevin came out and was very friendly but we were missing a part. He explained what was needed and why (something Geek Squad never did) and following ordering the part, two other ABC guys came out - Tach and Peter. Both did a very good job, explained to me the options of where I could put the dryer vent, made sure everything was working and gave me a full rundown of how to use everything. They were efficient, personable and easy to talk too. I'll never order from Best Buy again but if I ever need installation or appliance related work, I'll contact ABC right away. Not happy with this company. I spent $30,000 on appliances and expected better service. They gave me a 2-5pm window for delivery. No problem...called at 4:45pm to tell me they were running 30 minutes behind. 6:15 pm rolls around and nothing. I call the girl who schedules appointments and they are closed. Leave a message. I try calling the installers twice. No answer. They call me back at 6:45pm and say they are close to my house. 7:00pm. Still no one. Finally arrived at 7:45pm. Smell of cigarettes. Want to charge me for moving an outlet. Just not a good experience. I don't recommend and will be calling Pacific Sales to let them know. They then left trash all over my lawn. Andy and Robert were great yesterday afternoon. They manage to bring a very heavy DCS professional stove up a narrow elevator and into a 1923 condo with pre-ADA accessible doorways and hallways without a single scratch or dent to the walls, elevators or anything else, even when the clearance was only 1/2" to get into the elevator or the condo's main entrance. And we are talking about a 400-500 lb range. Not an easy task. They took their time in appropriately securing and installing the appliance once inside the condo. I cannot believe the lack of professionalism from this place. They were supposed to deliver and install our new refrigerator YESTERDAY, and never showed! Didn't even have the audacity to call or text (their phone is a cell) with any sort of explanation. Bestbuy has been trying to contact them and they aren't even communicating to them what is going on. STAY AWAY from this company. I can't stress enough how unprofessional and frustrating this company is. They even called to confirm delivery with me themselves two days prior to this, and when I spoke with someone the day of delivery she assured me the driver would reach out with the time. This is the third time I use their service and the previous two are going well without any issues. But today is really a nightmare. The installer showed up at our house on 2:45 pm and told me they accidentally locked their car but left the keys inside the car, now we need to wait them to have someone unlock their car first and then they will start the work. We wait about 45 minutes for that and the bad service is not end from there. One installer dropped off the screws on my floor and causing a damage. After they finally moved out my refrigerator and washer/dryer to their truck on around 4:30pm we're told they will spend 15 minutes to stop by somewhere to pickup something before they move our appliances to our new address. My husband drove to our new address to wait for them, but they didn't get there until 6:45 without any explanation. They are totally wasting our time today. I can understand things are not going easily during pandemic but keeping your customers waiting there for 2.5 hours doesn't sound right to me. I will never use their service again and I guess no one should take a chance if they are not expecting their appliances will be out of tracking for hours. read more

I bought a refrigerator and a dishwasher from Best Buy. I was luckily assigned ABC Installations to deliver and install them. Gus and Teo called ahead to advise me that they were on their way. They arrived within the designated time window! A great install, showing pride in their work and knowledge. No bumps or bruises to the house as they showed respect as they did their work. They installed a secondary ice maker in the refrigerator. I didn't realize it at the time, but they installed the "fill cup" backwards, so water went everywhere but in the ice maker. I called Gus back about 3 days after I discovered the issue. After they finished up their current install they came right over (within an hour.) They pulled the ice maker, corrected the fill cup in about 20 mins!! I bet there is no one who has had this great an experience with another appliance installer. Thanks Gus and Teo !!! read more

I bought a dishwasher from Howard's. These guys came out today to install it. From the minute they came into my home they found everything wrong with the plumbing etc. I had no idea I had issues or I would have fixed it first. The one guy Calvin was rude and very disrespectful to my husband. He said you need this part and that part. Yes, he got me for an extra $175 on top of what I spent for the dishwasher. These parts are very inexpensive at Home Depot. He ripped us off. He charged double labor.. We are senior citizens on a fixed income. I guess he saw we live in Calabasas and figured we are rich. Not. At one point I wanted to call Howard's and say hey take your dishwasher back. Needless to say I won't do business with them again or ever use these obnoxious guys for anything. Oh and he told the girl who took my credit card info not to charge me a processing fee. Really. This company sucks!!! read more

Harry and his partner Johnny provided exceptional and professional service today. I needed a GE Monogram built-in ~800lb beast fridge disconnected and hauled away. Harry led navigating tight corners and very little ceiling clearance expertly, requiring multiple balancing maneuvers. Add in a long uneven grass slope, all while managing that huge weight. They were so cautious to not scratch my tile floors, walls and doorways. Harry also replaced a broken cap on my copper line and double-checked everything before leaving. I also appreciated they were polite, friendly, and followed Covid protocols by wearing masks. Thank you both!! read more

Came to install my SubZero wine cooler. Did a good job with no cracks and space in between. Was quoted $255 to install the wine cooler on the phone by Sue, and asked to take my old one as it wasn't getting cold fast enough. It wasn't broken. When they got here it was $600. I guess it's an extra $100 to take away a $10k wine cooler. $95 adding the moldings and 2-$55 for the bottom cabinets. Didn't wanna get into an argument with someone installing my shit and half ass it, so told them $500 is the most I will pay. They took off and extra $65 so I ended up paying $445. I was furious with all these extra charges, but I'm a nice guy. Ended up liking the service since they cleaned up everything so nicely and I can't even see a mm gap in between cabinets. They also came at the exact time frame in the morning, which was very important to me cause I had to go back to work. Would recommend but just make a binding contract over the phone on how much you will pay. read more

Since Best Buy and Pacific Sales merged I was contacted by Best Buy Geek Squad confirming my appointment for installation. Little did I know they were going to send this awful company. They came and said that they never saw anything like the tubbing I had for my current dishwasher and they did not know how to disconnect it to install the new dishwasher. Then one of them. Leo, said that I need to get a plumber to come figure it out because they didn't want to break it. ARE YOU SERIOUS!?! Why would I pay a plumber after I already paid for installation when I purchased the dishwasher. Leo and the other guy with him both looked like and acted like they were both still in Jr. High or in High School with very little experience. He was a total pro, from calling me earlier in the day to give me a three hour window, to installing my DW and a very tricky custom panel front. I had the worst experience with ABC installations. Three different servicemen have came to my house. I have not been able to get a proper estimate, the estimate keeps changing. The serviceman who have come to my house have all been rude. Today on May 14th 2020, we are in the middle of a Covid lockdown, the service man just entered my house from another entrance where my kids and Nanny and I were playing. I am in the middle of remodeling my house which includes new flooring through out. This involved moving my built-in refrigerator. I was given a list of local installers to choose from. The first company I picked came out and moved my refrigerator with no problems. When the time came to move it back that is a different story. I left three messages and no one called back. I picked another company and they said they would be out on Saturday and even went as far as calling me Saturday morning to indicate they would be there between 3 and 6. They never showed up. No call, text... nothing. This left me high and dry as I needed that refrigerator moved from the TV room due to demo work starting Monday morning. I called ABC Installations and Kim answered. I just said I needed my refrigerator moved today. She got back to me and said it would be between 4 and 7 that day. I explained the situation that the "other" company put me in and Kim placed me on hold and then came back maybe a minute later and said "I will have two guys there in less than 45 minutes". Guess what? They arrived in 30 minutes, did the job right and where on their way. KIM - you and your team ROCK!!! Oh and I will be calling you soon to reinstall my range, dishwasher and refrigerator. UPDATE! Before the gentleman left, I was told that someone would like to speak to me on the phone, the ladies name was Kim. She was genuinely apologetic for the installers being late and said she was not comfortable with me being charged the amount I was going to be charged. Which was $185 for the install, $85 for the valve, minus $30 for the inconvenience (he increased passed the 10%). Instead she said I would only be charged for the original $185. That's customer service!!! Thanks again Kim for understanding the situation and making it right with your customer. I greatly appreciate it!! I purchased a dishwasher, over range microwave oven, and a stove from Pacific Sales and was told I would have to use an outside installer for the microwave and dishwasher. The morning of the delivery I received a call stating the delivery/installation would be between 2-5 PM. By 5 pm I still had no installers and received no phone call from them or the company explaining the hold up. I called the men directly and was given excuse after excuse about traffic. I asked why I hadn't received a call and they said sorry but the traffic was holding them up. Their new estimated time of arrival was 5:30 - 5:45. I called their office to complain and stated that I was not going to pay the full install price. The lady, Sue, said the gentleman would offer me a good deal. At 6:00 still NO installers. They called and said they were on their way. When I asked what their location was to get an accurate arrival time, they skirted the answer repeatedly until finally saying they were on the 57 at the 91. Now, I live 5 minutes from that intersection. It only took them ANOTHER 60 minutes to get to my house! Now you figure that one out. When they got here, they apologized and kept blaming traffic. I said I understand traffic can be bad but there's no excuse to not call and say that they were not going to come anywhere close to their arrival time. They said they did call to say they would be late, mind you this was only after I had to call them at 5 asking where they were. Again the window was 2-5 they showed up at 7, TWO HOURS PASSED the slated arrival time. According to them my good deal is 10% off of installation which is a whopping $18.50. Please! Not only is it 7:45 and they are still working but my family and I missed out on our dinner plans to meet up with some friends and celebrate their birthday. On top of this mess, I was also told I had to spend an extra $85 to have a new water valve installed. If they are your install company.....RUN! Unless you don't mind waiting around for long passed your install time and missing out on plans! read more

He gave a window period of between 3-6 and arrived at 4:30. He and his crew were professional and hard working. They came to please and make sure me the customer was happy. This time I got Harry and Calvin ... they went over and beyond to make sure my installation set up matched the home . I was missing a piece because of the old plumbing.. I didn't want to add another air gap to the sink because I had dishwasher and ice maker, it would have made my sink look cluttered and ugly!... he told me about a part he would bring next time to make it look cleaner and function property. I just want say all the technicians were awesome. I bought a range hood at Best Buys, the first technician Andy, came to installed it. He was professional and polite. He worked hard installing and drilling a hole to put another outlet since we didn't have one for the rang hood. But the hood was defected, so we had to make arrangements with Best Buy to send a replacement. We finally had Best Buys to pick up the defected one, and the ABC Technicians came to install the replacement. Lai and Harry were also very polite and professional. The hood range didn't have the outlet cord, so Lai gave one of his own, and didn't charge us for it. They put up our new transition and duct and made sure they were sealed properly. I read some of the comments here, where the time frame was too wide, and some said they didn't call if they were running late. That's no big deal for me. I mean some work takes longer than others. Then they have to make it to the next job. You just have to be patient. They did a great job and I'm very please with them , and will definitely use them for future work. read more

I would give this company negative stars if I can. They damaged my house, brand new washer and brand new drier during the installation. Best Buy offered an exchange for the damaged washer and drier. This company damaged my brand new washer for the second time. When I called them about this, they are like 'we are sorry that you have difficult time with our company. we will let store manager know that we will not send any person to your house again'. They sound like it's my fault that their employees damaged my washer and drier twice. They don't care anything about your house and your appliances. If they damage anything, Best Buy will replace and they don't have anything to lose. Please avoid this horrible company if you can. I hope Best Buy could stop partnering with this company. Frank and his assistant delivered and installed the washing machine. Eric and his assistant delivered and installed the LG dryer. Both teams did an efficient, professional job. Frank and Eric were friendly, answered our questions, showed us how to use the new machines, and did a test run of each machine for us. They were great, and were particularly careful to not scratch our hardwood floors as they carried the machines into our house and hauled away the old machines. ABC Installations just installed a new LG refrigerator. This was done by Kevin and Tony. The problem was removing my built in GE Monogram from the late 1980's. It was a monster to remove! The contractor who had put in my wood floors after the old built in did not go all the way back under the refrigerator, locking in the refrigerator. It took really hard work, determination, and working out some difficult problems to remove the refrigerator without doing any damage to the floor. I really appreciate the hard work and determination that Kevin and Tony showed. read more
