Came here on a Wednesday evening for a date. Was able to make the sunset and it was just immaculate. They have panel windows all across the side of the building and it is amazing so no matter where you sit in this lounge you'll be able to see an amazing sunset and the beer. I had the elderberry drink and a charcuterie board. Just went there to mingle for a few hours. Very hip, she, romantic and quiet enough to have a conversation where you don't have to yell across the table to be heard. Very intimate as well. They have a bar as well as table and booth seating. I would definitely recommend for a low-key night. I did not try any of their other food besides charcuterie board. It's on the 34th floor of the Moxie hotel. read more

Located on the 34th floor of the AC Hotel, the views are absolutely prime! At night, you can see all angles of LA from this restaurant, lounge and bar. The vibe is romantic- a little dark and moody so that the lights of the skyline pop! The menu isn't huge but there is a good variety of options. My colleague and I split a cobb salad and added salmon. The salad was filled with many tasty goodies inside and the salmon was cooked crisp on the outside but very tender on the inside. We also shared a delicious carrot cake. For drinks, we both got something off of their signature cocktail menu and really enjoyed our drinks. The people next to us got a smoked Manhattan that would've been our next drink if we were ordering more. I guess it should be expected of LA, but the prices are crazy steep. For two drinks, 1 salad and a desert, we paid $120. It was wild considering we didn't even get our own meals, but maybe that's to be expected given the view and vibes. read more

Gorgeous restaurant! Food was amazing! Brendan our waiter was super nice as well! Also it was my birthday and they gave me a way yummy yellow cake with vanilla bean ice cream Also the burger is amaazzzingggg, one of the best burgers I've had in a long time The steak and potatoes were amazing 10/10 on the food!! The reasons why I'm knocking off a start though was because there's a seat yourself sign walking up but we had reservations and Brendan was the only worker we saw but he was busy so we were standing around awkwardly and had to find him in the back of the restaurant which was a little weird Also the peroni draft was incredibly flat, almost tasted like when you leave an open beer sitting out for a day But they replaced it no problem so not that big a deal! If you are looking for delicious food and a great view, look no further than the newly opened AC Bar and Lounge in the AC Marriott hotel downtown LA. Frankly, my expectations were low - its a bar/restaurant in a hotel. How good could the food be? Wow, I was wrong. Amazing. For dinner, we split the farro risotto and creamy potatoes and both were just to die for. We tried the cookies for desert - salted Carmel and three types of macaroons. They were good (we are kind of macaroon snobs so they were not fantastic, but solid). Normally I'm great with photos but we were starving and once we dug in, all bets were off for good photography! Jared, our server was fantastic - great recommendations and attentive without being overbearing. We popped down for breakfast in the morning. There is a buffet and they also have 2 chef dishes that are included. This morning was a Belgian waffle with fruit and a toast with mango cheese and scrambled egg with arugula. Both - amazing. We are leaving super early in the morning yet confirmed we will be able to grab breakfast before we go! read more

The view from this place is incredible! And the decor is lovely- chic and contemporary. The menu, which changes with the seasons, is somewhat limited, but they offer a pretty good variety of choices for different dietary needs-- vegetarian, gluten free, etc. We had both dinner and brunch here and everyone in our party was able to find something to eat. Service was... okay? Our server may have been having an off day-- we were not impressed. And the prices are what you would expect from a nice hotel in downtown LA... in other words, expensive. Despite these mild shortcomings, this is definitely a solid choice for a nice meal if you're staying at the AC or Moxy Hotel. It's extremely convenient for hotel guests and you'll enjoy your meal. read more

We checked-in in their hotel which is a beautiful hotel, nice view city of LA, very luxurious type of hotel and good service. They don't have any bathrobe if you ask for it. Their restaurants in the sky lounge is great with a nice view. We ordered flat iron steak which takes time to be served. We waited like around good 25-30mins for the steak. The steak is not so good. Very dry, cold and the quality is not great for the price. We asked for the new one since we told the server the steak was cold and dry, he apologized and gave us a new one which I appreciate. Love the view of the hotel and the restaurant. The breakfast buffet is a little too pricey for me and there are no much variety of choices to choose from. There is only egg and bread available and not much with meat. Maybe will try the hotel again but definitely not their food. Overall our stay is still good. read more

The lounge is very new and has a great view overlooking LA. We went there for breakfast buffet and the variety was seriously lacking. For $35/pp they need to have a bigger range of proteins available. They had eggs and more eggs. Where are the bacon, sausage, potatoes, etc? If you don't like eggs, you're stuck eating cold salami, cheese, fruit, and stale croissants. The Nespresso machine was broken and the drip coffee in the carafe was gross. The servers were efficient and friendly but they couldn't provide a better menu or a working espresso machine. This is a 6 month old hotel lounge. They need to do better. read more

I recently visited the Ac Bar and Lounge. I originally had reservations at the outside restaurant, however because dog the predicted storm that was coming the guest were accommodated inside to the lounge. The lounge was very cute. It has a dark, peaceful, romantic atmosphere. The view is absolutely beautiful. You can see the stupor arena and have a great view of the city. The service was great. Everyone was really attentive and contarle checked in to make sure everything was going fine. The food was okay. I was a little disappointed with the quality and taste because it did not reflect the price. The menu had limiting options as well. If I was to rate food alone it would probably be 2/5. If I were to come back, it would definitely have to be for the atmosphere, view, and customer service. read more

I'm honestly not one to leave reviews but we went to the bar twice in one stay, an hour bfor last call, and the bartenders were not nice at the sky lounge. At all. All 6 of us ordered a drink and tipped more than 20%. The bartenders were rushing us to order and close out at 10:30 even tho the bar closed at midnight. Kinda disappointed in the lack of friendliness. They were out of the drink I requested. The vodka cran was decent tho. read more

This place is honestly horrible. Came here for valentines and it took over an hour for our food to come out, the three tables next to us ALSO had to wait an hour for their food to come out. All of the staff here also act a little strange and dont seem to understand english very well. The only thing this place has going for it is the view but even that can be obscured depending on wher you are sitting. Nice view but not worth it. My husband made reservations for Valentine's Day at 8:15p. We arrived around 8:05p and the host explained that even though we had reservations there was a 15min wait. We didn't mind at all we are very understandable. 8:47p comes around and we realized a couple who came before us was called in first. I went to ask the host how much longer and she got a little nervous. It seemed like she had forgotten about us. She then seats at a random table and tells us if a table with a view opened up she would move us. 5 minutes later I notice a table by the window opens up so I call her over and ask her if she can move us there. She smiled and said "that's a table for 4" when the same exact table across was also a table for 4 but only 2 were seating. I pointed that out to her and she went cleaned it up but when she came back our server had taken our order. She then told us " as much as I would love to move you it's complicated since your server took your order already". She then seats a couple on that table for 4!!!!!! At this point we were annoyed and hungry we just wanted to eat. Two more tables opened up with a view and she avoided us at all cost because she said once our food came out she would "move" us. At the end of our dinner I saw her take a couple to the back of the restaurant and 15 mins later a window table opened up and she walked them over with their plate and sat them there! They were the same ethnicity. Quite honestly we felt discriminated because we were the only Hispanics there. Also, the food was not worth the price. read more

The place is gorgeous, the views are amazing, and the ambiance seems great for a lax drink but the service is absolutely terrible. The servers are rude, their customer service skills are awful. At least 3 saw us waiting to be seated and not once acknowledged our presence about coming in a moment. When someone finally came after realizing we wouldn't leave she had an attitude about us being there. She said "let me check if there's space at the bar I don't think the tables are clean". The bar was full and only 3 other tables were being occupied and everything looked perfectly fine. Another server with the same dry attitude signaled we could sit in the middle of the seating area meanwhile a "clean table" came up. Seemed like the servers were just so inconvenienced to do their jobs. Last time I was here for business drinks with an overseas visitor they rudely turned on the lights of the place and told us the bar was closed without a proper professional notice. Sucks the place is beautiful with a big lack of service potential. read more
